Aim To study the effects of 2 ,3 ,4 ’ ,5-tet-rahydroxystilbene-2-O-β-D glucoside ( TSG ) on myo-cardial fibrosis ( MF) induced by isoproterenol ( ISO) in mice and its possible mechanism. Methods MF in mice was induced by subcutaneous injection of isoprot-erenol for 14 days. TSG (30,60,120 mg·kg-1 ) and captopril ( 40 mg · kg-1 ) were then administered by gavage to mice. The experiment was stopped 12 h after the last administration of the drugs. Hematoxylin-eosin ( HE) and Masson staining were used to estimate the extent of MF. Level of hydroxyproline in myocardial tissues was measured. Protein expressions of collagenⅠ, collagen Ⅲ and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) in myocardial tissues were measured. Lev-els of superoxide dismutase ( SOD ) and glutathione peroxidase ( GSH-Px ) were determined. Results Compared with control mice, the level of hydroxypro-line in myocardial tissues was significantly increased in isoproterenol treated mice. Histological sections of iso-proterenol-treated hearts showed extensive myocardial fibrosis. And protein expressions of collagenⅠand col-lagen Ⅲwere markedly increased in isoproterenol trea-ted mice. However, therapy with TSG decreased the level of hydroxyproline in myocardial tissues, ameliora-ted the degree of myocardial fibrosis, and reduced the collagen expressions induced by isoproterenol adminis-tration. Moreover, treatment with TSG decreased TGF-β1 protein expression and elevated the myocardial SOD and GSH-Px activity. Conclusion TSG can inhibit MF formation induced by ISO in mice which might be due to regulating TGF-β1 protein expression and its an-tioxidant effect.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(4):5-7
Several important issues about internal strength massage and Shaolin Internal Qigong were discussed in this article, which verified the following aspects:Shaolin Internal Qigong was written into the massage textbook formally in 1960; Special material Shaolin Internal Qigong was first proposed in 1963; Internal strength massage schools were first proposed in 1979's National Massage Symposium. The author holds that Shaolin Internal Qigong is not the Kungfu from Shaolin Temple, and it has nothing to do with Dharma; Shaolin Internal Qigong of Massage exercises belongs to external Gong, the internal Qigong content of Xingqi Neishi need to be excavated; The method of stick-beating with mulberry stick of Internal Strength Massage is closely related to the patting method of Yi Jin Jing school in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and Zhen Ting method ofThe Golden Mirror of Medicine.

OBJECTIVE:
lo discuss the inmtluence of different thyroidectomy on perioperative blood calcium concentration.
METHOD:
Total number of patients was 240. These patients of thyroid tumors were recruited. Clinical and follow-up datum were retrospective analyzed.
RESULT:
Patients were divided into four groups by different operative methods. Group one was patients taken one-side thyroidectomy, group two taken one-side lymph node dissection plus, group three taken two-sides thyroidectomy, and group four taken one or two sides lymph node dissection plus. Group two was easier to become hypocalcemia and their calcium concentration decreased more remarkably, compared with group one. Patients taken two-sides thyroidectomy had the familiar outcome.
CONCLUSION
Patients taken lymph node dissection were easier to become hypocalcemia, compared with patients only taken thyroidectomy.

The object of this study is to preparate the berberine hydrochloride (BBH) resin compound with taste masking effect. We took the BBH as the model drug and Amberlite IRP69 as the drug carriers, uncovered the curve of solubility of BBH in different cosolvent with a certain range of temperature, and then used it to calculate the parameters during the preparation of the complex such as adding quantity of BBH and the reaction temperature. Afterwards, the characteristic and
