Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(05):-
The normal value of parameters of saccade, smooth pursuit and optokinetic nystagmus has been detected by recording the electro-oculograph in 29 healthy subjects. The results are as follows: 1.The reaction time of saccade is 259.04? 74.19,the mean velocity is 216.83?87.51/s in 15? target amplitude. No statistical significance has been found between sexes, but the reaction time is obviously longer in pre-puberty group.2.For smooth pursuit in 40% target velocity, gain is 0.976?0.08, phase lag is 3.95?7.69s,moothness is 0.925?1.49.No statistical significance has been found between sexes.3.In analysing the sequential process of saccade and smooth pursuit, it can't observed the tendency of decrement in latency.4.The gain of OKN in 14?/s velocity is between 0.689-0.808, the gain decreases following the increase of target velocity. The symmetry of OKN is 3.54?15.04% and there are 81.58% of OKN belonging macula type in healthy people.5.When the target velocity is in close each other, the velocity of fast phase of OKN is in close with the velocity of saccade.
3.Research progress in benign lymphoepithelial lesion
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2013;(1):96-100
Benign lymphoepithelial lesion(BLEL) is known as Mikulicz disease. The clinical manifestation of BLEL mainly includes diffuse painless enlargement of the eye or the monocular lachrymal gland. The etiology and pathogenesis of the disease proposed mainly concerns the sex hormone hypothesis, transforming growth factor-β involvement hypothesis, basal cell hyperplasia invasion hypothesis, and IgG4-related hypothesis,etc..The typical pathological changes are infiltration of lymphocytes in the gland, atrophy of the gland tissue, formation of myoepithelial islands within the duct hyperplasia in the gland caused by infiltration of the tubular expansion. There is no uniform diagnosis criterion for this disease up to now,but it needs to be differentiated from idiopathic orbital inflammatory pseudotumor and Sj(o)gren syndrome in clinical diagnosis. The application of glucocorticoid is the primary treating regimen for benign lymphoepithelial lesion.Local radiation therapy and/or surgery extraction are available to patients unsensitive to glucocorticoid therapy.

5.Progress in the Studies of Fungal Chitin Synthases
Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
Chitin is one of the most important component in fungal cell wall.Biosynthesis of chitin is a complex processes and needs several chitin synthase isoenzymes. The knowledge of structure, function and regulation of chitin synthases is mainly derived from the study of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In contrast with the 3 chitin synthases in S.cerevisiae,7 were found in most filamentous fungi. In this review the classification and function of chitin synthases are summerized, and progress in the studies on chitin synthases of filamentous fungi which are of theoretical or medical or agricultural importance, including Aspergillus nidulans,Aspergillus fumigatus and Ustilago maydis are emphasized.Recent ad-vance of research on chitin synthase as antifungal target is also discussed.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(13):1988-1993
BACKGROUND:Recently, periprosthetic femoral fractures have been a common complication after total hip replacement. Vancouver type B1 periprosthetic femoral fractures commonly received internal fixation due to stable femoral prosthesis and less bone defects.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of the application of Synthes cable system in the treatment of Vancouver type B1 periprosthetic femoral fractures after total hip replacement.
METHODS:From May 2009 to October 2012, 18 patients with Vancouver type B1 periprosthetic femoral fractures were treated with Synthes cable system in the Department of Orthopedics, Nantong First People’s Hospital. There were 8 males and 10 females with an average age of (62.67±8.67) years ranging 45 to 80 years. They received a further consultation at 1, 3 and 6 months after treatment. The function of hip joint was evaluated by Harrris evaluation standard:ful marks, 100 points, ≥ 90 points, excellent;80-89 points, better;70-79 points, good;<70 points, poor.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al 18 patients were fol owed up for 6 to 43 months. Mean healing period was (19.06±4.04) weeks. Harris score was (22.3±3.6) points before treatment in 18 cases. Harris score was higher significantly at 1, 3 and 6 months after treatment compared with that before treatment (P<0.01), and the recovery of hip function was good. Results indicated that Synthes cable system could help to restore the normal anatomic structure of femur in the greatest extent, showing simple operation, little injury, high stability and high safety. It is an ideal method for treating Vancouver type B1 periprosthetic femoral fractures.

BACKGROUND:The effects of artificial joint replacement, osteotomy and reconstruction in the treatment of Crown Ⅳ-type congenital dislocation of hip in adult are not very satisfied. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of artificial total hip arthroplasty and hip-self procedure in the treatment of Crown Ⅳ-type congenital dislocation of hip in adult patients. METHODS:Twenty-three adult patients with Crown Ⅳ-type congenital dislocation of hip were treated with artificial total hip arthroplasty and hip-self procedure. There were 2 males and 21 females with an average age of (24.26±3.56) years ranging 20 to 35 years. The effect was evaluated according to the Harrris evaluation standard, and the statistical analysis was performed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al of the patients were fol owed-up for 12-60 months, averaged of (26.60±13.16) months. Statistical comparison with the SPSS 19.0 system showed there was significant difference of the Harrris scores between preoperation and postoperation period (P<0.05). The artificial total hip arthroplasty and hip-self procedure can be used to reconstruct the normal function of hip joint, relieve pain and increase the joint stability, which is considered as the best method for the treatment of Crown Ⅳ-type congenital dislocation of hip in adult.
