In recent years,with the completion of the Human Genome Project and the development of mapping the Human Ge?nome Methylation Variable Site Map Plan,research on epigenetics and the generation and deveopment of cancer,epigenetic treatment drugs,especially the successful clinical application of the DNA methyltransferase and histone deacetylation inhibitors in the treatment of cancer patients,epigenetic has becoming a hot spot. This article reviews the recent progress in pharmacological action of epigenetics-based anticancer drugs,it may provide some new ideas to the therapy and fundamental research of cancer.
2.Effect of Oxymatrine on cardiac function and left ventricular remodeling in rabbits after acute myocardial infarction.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Oxymatrine on left cardiac function and ventricular remodeling in rabbits after acute myocardial infarction.
METHODSLigation of the left anterior descending artery was adopted to establish acute myocardial infarction model, forty eight rabbits were randomized into the sham operation group, model group and Oxymatrine group. Eight models were successfully established in each group. the sham operation group and model group were given conventional feed. Oxymatrine were gavage administration 0.5 ml/100 g, once a day, lasted for 4 weeks. Respectively in postoperative week, and three weeks, to observe the Oxymatrine on cardiac output (CO), left ventricular end systolic pressure (LVESP), left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP), left indoor pressure change rate peak (dp/dtmax)), and left ventricular cavity internal diameter (D), ventricular weight index (VWI), ventricular weight (VW).
RESULTSLeft ventricular anterior wall was from red to deep purple, electrocardiogram showed II guide ST-segment camber up ≥ 0.25 mv. Postoperative week in Oxymatrine group compared with model group, LVESP increased significantly (P < 0.01), LVEDP decreased obviously (P < 0.01); After three weeks in Oxymatrine group compared with model group, VW, VWI decreased (P < 0.05), D significantly reduced (P < 0.01); LVESP increased significantly (P < 0.01), LVEDP decreased obviously (P <0.01); dp/dt(max), CO increased (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONAfter acute myocardial infarction in rabbit Oxymatrine can improve the left ventricular reconstruction parameters, increase cardiac output, and improve cardiac function.

3.Preliminary study on three kinds of method of interleukin 1 (IL-1) assay

In present paper,we studied three kinds of method of assay for IL-1:thymocyte proliferation assay;L_(?) cell proliferation assay and pyrogen assay.Stimultaneously we used ~(125)I-UdR in stead of ~3H-TdR.The results show that all of three kinds of method of assay for IL-1 can measure IL-1 activity of supernatants from cultured rat alveolar M? stimulated by LPS in vitro.It suggests that ~(125)I-UdR can incorporate into DNA synthesis of cell and mouse fibroblast cell line L_(?) can response to IL-1 of supernatant from cultured rat alveolar M? stimulated by LPS.
4.Analysis of 66 Cases with Rheumatic Heart Disease on Coronary Arteriography Before Valve Replacement

Objective:To analyse the coronary lesion of patients with rheumatic heart disease.Methods:Selective coronary arteriography in comparison with ECG,ECT and ultrasonography were performed on 66 cases with rheumatic heart disease from Aprll,1995 to April 1999.Results:Single or multiple stenosises of coronary artery were found in 10 cases (15.2%).Unsmooth lumen and multipl atherosclerosis plaques were found in 12 cases (18.2%),58 cases had atrial fibrillation.44 cases had ST-T changed or abnormal Q wave(66.7%).Mitral valve was demaged in all cases with ultrasonography.Conclusion:It is essential that patients with rheumatic heart disease to have valve replacement should have coronary arteriography. [

The structural gene encoding mature peptide of extracellular ? amylase was amplified from the genome DNA of hyperthermophilic archaeon Pyrococcus furiosus by PCR The recombinant plasmid pUC19 amy was constructed by inserting the amplified segment into vector pUC19 The recombinant vector pYX212 amy was constructed by ligate the heterogeneous fragment of pUC19 amy into the multiple cloning site of pYX212, an expression vector of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae W303 A1 were transformed with pYX212 amy by electroporation The transformant expressed the activity of the thermophilic ? amylase successfully The recombinant enzyme has the similar enzymatic properties as the extracellular ? amylase produced by Pyrococcus furiosus : it shows an enzymatic activity optimum at pH 5 0, and its optimal temperature for enzymatic activity is about 90℃, more than 50% of its initial enzymatic activity is still detectable after it was incubated at 121℃ for 30 minutes
