1.Experience in treatment of post-ERCP peripancreatic and retroperitoneal abscess formation with non-operation management
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2009;15(7):506-508
Objective To investigate the technique and clinic value of non-operation management for ERCP-related peripancreatic and retroperitoneal abscess. Methods Five patients with post-ERCP peripancreatic and retroperitoneal abscess were reviewed. Guided by ultrasonic or CT, all the 5 pa-tients underwent puncture and the drainage tube was disposed to the lowest place of abscess. Non-op-eration managements for patients also included the use of anti-inflammatory drugs and enzyme activity inhibition drugs. Results All patients responded to the draining treatment and discharged from hospi-tal after complete recovery. There was no conversion to surgical intervention. Mean draining duration was 52. 4(20-90)d and average hospital stay was 91.8(35-165)d. Conclusion Puncture and drainage management is an effective and safe approach for post-ERCP peripancreatic and retroperitoneal ab-scess. It has advantages of less trauma, less pain, fast recovery and low rate of complications. Punc-ture point should be situated at the bottom or lowest position of abscess and drainage can achieve the best results.
2.A Survey about Psychosomatic Symptoms and Related Psychosocial Factors of Nursing Students in Military School
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(08):-
Objective:To study the relationship between psychosomatic symptoms and psychosocial factors of nursing students in military school.Methods:469 nursing students of a military medical school were investigated by SCL-90,EPQ,PSSS,Coping style inventory and self-esteem scale and so on.Results:Nursing students had lower SCL-90 score than the norm of Chinese female and that of military medical students.Their SCL-90 score correlated with EPQ-E、EPQ-L negatively and EPQ-N、EPQ-P positively. It also correlated with passive coping style positively; with positive coping style,self-esteem negatively. Conclusion:Nursing students of military school have less psychosomatic symptoms than medical students. The influential factors are similar to other populations.

Chinese Herbal Medicines 2011;03(1):17-22
The current official quality control approaches meet the challenges from the complexity of herbal medicines. In fact, any herbal medicines containing numerous unknown components, its curative effect usually depends on the whole of herbal medicines,so it is impossible and unnecessary to qualitatively and quantitatively study every component.By investigating the limitations of current quality control approaches for herbal medicines and the difference and similarity in the chemical substantial style as well as quality control pattern of herbal medicines,a new quality control approach for Chinese herbal medicines should be explored and designed. The combination approach of chemical analysis with bioassay is promising to be developed and employed in order to ensure the safety and efficacy of Chinese herbal medicines.

Objective To probe into the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with herbal medicine with the functions of detoxication and purging fu-organ on patients with constipation of phlegm-heat and bowel-repletion type in acute cerebral infarction. Methods The enrolled cases were randomly assigned to an observation group of 35 cases and a control grouD of 35 cases.Besides both groups were treated with routine neurological treatment and acupuncture with the flinchon of brain activating, the observation group was treated by acupuncture combined with herbal medicine with the functions of detoxication and purging fu-organ and the control group was treated with Dilute Glycerol.Such indexes of patients in both groups were observed 7 days and 21 days before and after the treatment as clinical effect of constipation, scores of related symptoms, and scores of traditional Chinese medical category and clinical effect. Results The effective rates of eonstipation 7 davs and 21 days after treatment were 93.7% and96.9% in the observation group, and 61.8% and79.4% in the control group, with significant differences between the two groups(P<0.01).After the treatment for 7 days and 21 days, the symptoms of constipation.dark tongue, yellow and greasy fur were improved significantly in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05);The observation group also showed a definite therapeutic effect than the control group on treating the svmptoms of upset minded, constipation, red or dark tongue, yellow and greasy fur(P<0.01).The scores of traditional Chinese medical category of the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P<0.01)after treatment for21 days. The total improvement rate was 97.0% in the observation group comparing 55.8%in the control group, showing significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion The method of acupuncture combined with herbal medicine with the functions of detoxication and purging fu-organ has a definite therapeutic effect on treating constipation of phlegm-heat and bowel-repletion in acute cerebral infarction. It can also improve clinical effects of these patients, which is worth generalizing in the clinical practice.

0.05). In the xenogeneic fresh nerve graft group, the xenogeneic nerve segment was rejected and absorbed by the recipient. CONCLUSION Xenogeneic acellular nerve could sustain facial nerve regeneration, and may be a substitute to autograft for repairing facial nerve defects.

Objective To evaluate the reliability and validity of a medication dependence questionnaire in mi?graineurs of the Chinese version. Methods One hundred fifteen migraine patients with drug dependence syndrome were included and their clinical data were then collected. All the subjects were interviewed with the medication dependence questionnaire in migraineurs of the Chinese version. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were evaluated ac?cording to test-retest reliability and internal consistency reliability, and the content validity and construct validity respec?tively. Results The test-retest reliability of the questionnaire items was 0.725~1.000 except item 11 (0.558) and item16 (0.443). The internal consistency coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.820, internal consistency coefficient of each di?mension was above 0.7. Every item score was positively correlated with corresponding dimension score (r=0.595~0.962). Seven factors with latent roots greater than 1 could explain 76.3%of total variance, and these factors were relatively pow?erful in related items. Conclusions The medication dependence questionnaire in migraineurs of the Chinese version shows preferable reliability and validity. Thus, this is a promising assessment tool to evaluate the medication dependence in Chinese migraineurs in future clinical practice.

Objective To analyze the clinical features and risk factors of migraine patients with white matter le-sions (WMLs). Methods One hundred ten clinically diagnosed migraine patients who underwent magnetic resonance im-aging (MRI) scans from October, 2010 to August, 2013 were enrolled in Shandong Provincial Hospital. One hundred ten migraine patients were divided into two groups:WMLs group and non-WMLs group based on the presence or absence of WMLs in MRI scans. The clinical features of the patients and location and number of WMLs were investigated. Noncondi-tional multivariate stepwise logistic regression after univariate analysis was used to analyze the data. Odds ratio (0R) and 95 confidence interval after adjustment for possible confounding variables were calculated. Results①There were 36 patients with WMLs among the 110 migraine patients. The incidence of WMLs in migraine patients was 32.7%. The WMLs in migraine patients were predominantly present in the frontal and parietal lobes (59.1%). ② Compared with non-WMLs group, there were significant increases in disease duration (5.3±3.7 vs. 7.6±4.9, P﹤0.01), frequency of head-ache attack (3.5 ± 2.3 vs. 4.6 ± 2.2, P﹤0.05), aura (18.9%vs. 36.1%, P﹤0.05) and family history of migraine (12.2%vs. 44.4%, P﹤0.01) in WMLs group.③The independent risk factors of WMLs in migraine patients were family history of mi-graine (OR=5.995), aura (OR=3.067) and long disease duration (OR=1.165). Conclusions Family history of migraine, au-ra and disease duration are the predictive risk factors of WMLs in migraineurs.
