1.Diagnostic value of three-dimensional color power angio in pernicious placenta previa with placenta increta
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2015;(6):522-524
Objective To investigate the value of three-dimensional color power angio(3D-CPA)in the prenatal diagnosis of pernicious placenta previa (PPP ) with placenta increta. Methods The ultrasonographic findings of PPP with placenta increta diagnosed in our hospital by 2D-CDFI and 3D-CPA were reviewed and compared with pathologic histology examination. For each of the two imaging methods, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and prenatal diagnose accordance rate were summarized. Results For 3D-CPA,sensitivity,specificity and positive predictive value were 91.1%,88.9% and 93.3%, respectively. The results of 3D-CPA were higher than those in 2D-CDFI (sensitivity 76.4%,specificity 66.7%,positive predictive value 81.5% ),and were statistically significant (P <0.05 ).The diagnose accordance rate of 3D-CPA was statistically higher than that of 2D-CDFI (90.4% vs 73.0%;P <0.05). Conclusions 3D-CPA can display abnormal vascular reconstruction between the placenta and uterine wall from various angles, and is more accurate than 2D-CDFI.3D-CPA plays an important role in the prenatal diagnosis of PPP with placenta increta.
3.Effect of different compatibility of zhizi dahuang decoction on pharmacokinetics of naringenin and hesperetin.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(13):2553-2558
An HPLC-UV method was developed for the determination of total naringenin and total hesperetin in rat plasma after oral administration of Citrus aurantium Immaturus extracts and Zhizi Dahuang decoction. Plasma samples were pretreated with liquid-liquid extraction procedure and acid hydrolysis method was used for converting conjugated naringenin and hesperetin to their respective free forms. Plasma samples were separated on a C18 column (4.6 mm x 150 mm, 5 microm), using 0.1% phosphoric acid and methanol as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL x min(-1) with gradient elution. DAS 2.0 software was applied to calculate the pharmacokinetic parameters while the SPSS 16.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Significant differences were observed, the C(max) AUC(0-t) of total naringenin in ZS group was 73.5% and 65.9% higher than those in ZZDHD group, respectively; the C(max), AUC(0-t) of total hesperetin in ZS group was 63.5% and 119.1% higher than those in ZZDHD group, respectively. There is a obvious decrease in C(max) and AUC(0-t) of total naringenin and total hesperetin after compatibility and their pharmacokinetic characteristics changed greatly due to the combination of other herbs. The established method was rapid, sensitive, selective and accurate, and it could be applied in the determination of total naringenin and total hesperetin in rat plasma.

6. Identification and antibacterial/antifungal activity of a strain of Bacillus from East China Sea
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;29(3):321-323
Objective: To identify a strain of bacterium (numbered ZJ8112) isolated from the sediments of the East China Sea and study its antibacterial activity. Methods: The ZJ8112 strain was subjected to phenotypical study, salt-aggregation test and 16S rDNA sequence analysis; the sequence analysis result was searched in the GenBank to determine its characteristics. The antibacterial activity of strain ZJ8112 was tested using the following as the indicator bacteria: Pyricularia oryzae, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida albicans and Cladosporium cucumerinum. Results: We found that the ZJ8112 was a G+ bacterium and had central spore. Salt-tolerant study showed that the optimum salt concentration was 10% and it belonged to moderate halophile. Analysis of the 16S rDNA gene showed high similarity (99%) to the Bacillus subtilis F121112. The 16S rDNA sequence of strain ZJ8112 had been submitted to GenBank (accession number: EU100745). The cultural and phenotypical characteristics demonstrated that ZJ8112 is a strain of Bacillus. Bioactivity study showed that ZJ8112 had potent inhibitory activity on Escherichia coli and Pyricularia oryzae. Conclusion: ZJ8112 is a halophytic bacterium with an optimum salt concentration of 10%. ZJ8112 can strongly inhibit the Escherichia coli and Pyricularia oryzae, showing a potential role for antibiotics development.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Metarhiziun taii polysaccharide on the immunity activity of the diabetic mellitus model mouse. Methods:To build stables type Ⅰ diabetic model mouse by intraperitoneal injecting small dose streptozotocin ( STZ) continuously. Then observeing weight changes, detecting empty stomach serum glucose, immune organ index( include spleen and thymus),peritoneal macrophage phagocyte ability, spleen lymphocyte multiplication and immunoglobulin IgG′s and complement C3,C4 content in blood serum of the diabetic rats. Results:The weight of model mouse had been improved by Metarhiziun taii polysaccharide, serum glucose had been improved degrade of the ability of model mouse.T,B lymphocyte proliferation had been increased obviously by middle and high dose polysaccharid, spleen index,IgG′s and C3,C4 content in blood serum of the diabetic rats could be improved by high dose distinctively.Thymus index and the capacity of peritoneal macrophage phagocyte would enhanced by middle and high dose polysaccharide inject. Conclusion:The immune function and serum glucose of typeⅠdiabetic mode rats could be improved by intra-gastriced Metarhiziun taii polysaccharide.

Objective To evaluate the application of scenario-based training and medical simulator in the orthopedics education. Methods A total of 60 students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine who finished their orthopedics internship from January 2016 to July 2016 were involved. They were randomly divided into the study group and control group with 30 students each. The study group re-ceived 2 classes of scenario-based training and medical simulator assisted education during their internship in the orthopedics department while the control group received 2 classes of traditional lessons instead. Sur-veys were conducted after the internship and the scores of internship were also recorded. Result The overall satisfaction was higher in the study group than the control group [(8.6±0.6) vs. (8.1±0.5), P=0.001]. On the part of learning interest, clinical thinking, clinical practice and group working, the study group also received better evaluation (P<0.05). The study group achieved better scores in the final examination than the control group [(84.4±2.6) vs. (82.5±3.4), P=0.018]. Conclusion The combination of scenario-based training and medical simulator can improve the ability of medical students in the orthopedics education, and receive higher satisfaction.
