OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the content determination of L-epicatechin in Actinidiae arguta. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Kromasil C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.2%Acetic acid solution(15:85,V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 210 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and the volume injection was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range of L-epicatechin was 10.47-167.52 μg/ml(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;average recovery was 98.07%-101.71%(RSD=1.39%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, accurate and reliable, and suitable for the content determination of L-epicatechin in A. arguta.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore effect of probiotics on improving the feeding intolerance in very low birth weight infants(VLBWI). Methods Sixty cases of VLBWI were randomly divided into two groups, 30 infants as therapy group, another 30 infants as control group. All infants in two groups were given aggressive intravenous nutrition and enteral feeding with preterm formulars. At the same time, probiotics were administered combined with preterm formulars to infants in therapy group. Milk amount, gastric residual, initial time of enteral feeding, time required for full enteral feeding and body weight on day 21 after birth were all recorded. Results Rate of no gastric residual increased significantly in therapy group compared with that of control group(t=6.24 P

Spinal biomechanics, especially the range of spine motion, has close connection with spinal surgery. The change of the range of motion (ROM) is an important indicator of diseases and injuries of spine, and the essential evaluating standards of effect of surgeries and therapies to spine. The analysis of ROM can be dated to the time of the invention of X-ray and even that before it. With the development of science and technology as well as the optimization of various types of calculation methods, diverse measuring methods have emerged, from imaging methods to non-imaging methods, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, from measuring directly on the X-ray films to calculating automatically by computer. Analysis of ROM has made great progress, but there are some older methods cannot meet the needs of the times and disappear, some classical methods such as X-ray still have vitality. Combining different methods, three dimensions and more vivo spine research are the trend of analysis of ROM. And more and more researchers began to focus on vivo spine research. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of the methods utilized recently are presented through viewing recent literatures, providing reference and help for the movement analysis of spine.

Objective To confirm whether community management of hypertension could improve blood pressure control in Chongqing. Methods Cluster sampling method was used to select 5283 adults from 20 community healthcare centers in Chongqing.Matched t test was used to analyze the changes of blood pressure before and after the intervention.x2 test analysis was performed to compare the rate of normal blood pressure. Results The average age of 5283 participants was (60.5 ± 11.0) years old.Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were significantly decreased after intervention (total population:t values were 16.98 and 13.80,respectively; male:t values were 12.58 and 10.66,respectively; female:t values were 11.60 and 9.10,respectively; all P < 0.05).The most significant decrease in SBP was found in 50-59 y age group (t =15.29,P <0.05),followed by 40-49 y age group (t =9.22,P <0.05).The control rate of hypertension was increased by 5.3% after 1 year's intervention (x2 =134.5,P<0.05),except for 60-69 y age group and ≥70 y age group (x2 values were 2.5 and 1.7,respectively ; both P > 0.05).Conclusion Our results show that standardized management of hypertension in communities can decrease the level of blood pressure and increase the control rate of hypertension.

Objective To explore cost of standard operation procedure of primary public healthcare services. Methods Standard operation procedure of primary public healthcare services was put forward according to national basic public healthcare service standards (2011 edition) in 2012.Random sampling method was used to choose participants from two community sanitary service centers, two township heahhcare centers and one maternity and child heahhcare hospital.Service standard operation procedure was used to measure human cost and supportive cost of public healthcare services. Results Management of 10 thousand patients who had different diseases needed various numbers of medical staff (MS),such as health profile needed 3.4 MS,hypertension management needed 10.8 MS,diabetes management needed 10.6 MS,elderly people care needed 9.2 MS,child care needed 4.6 MS,maternal care needed 24.3 MS,psychosis management needed 13.3 MS,and planned immunity for children needed 4.6 MS.Besides, the people whole covered service projects need 2.4 MS per 100 thousand people. The research showed that managing 1 sample of different kind people needed different human cost, such as health profile needed 22.67 yuan, hypertension management needed 72.69 yuan, planned immunity for children needed 30.68 yuan, diabetes management needed 71.34 yuan, old people management needed 61.50 yuan, child care needed 30.88 yuan, maternal care needed 157.15 yuan, psychosis management needed 74.25 yuan.Besides, the people whole covered service projects needed 124.9 thousand yuan per 100 thousand people. Conclusion For primary public healthcare service project,it should be critical to modify manning regulation and labor costs.

Objective To accumulate operating experience and background data for housing mice in individually ventilated cages (IVC).Methods 5 weeks old Balb /c male mice(n =80) were allocated to 8 groups(n =10), which then housed in 5 or 10 per cage in 3 IVC systems(30,50 and 70 air changes /h, respectively) and one open-top cages (OTC) shelf for 8 weeks.Body weight was assessed at the initial date and every week .By the end of the experiment, necropsy was done and organs were separated and weighed .Excelland SPSS software statistics was made to draw the growth curve, and comparative analysis of body weight and organ coefficients was performed between the groups .Results 1.The growth curves of 5-mice per cage were better than that of 10-mice per cage.2.In the IVC groups, the curves trend and fluency of 50 air changes /h were more similar to that of 5-mice housed OTC group.3.The previously mentioned differences were statistically not significant (P >0.05).4.In the liver coefficients, there was a statistically significant difference between the 10-mice housed OTC group and 5-mice housed IVC group with 30 air changes /h(P <0.05), there wasn`t any other significant statistically difference with the organ coefficients between groups (P >0.05).Conclusions Based on the results of this study, the air change frequency on 50 times per hour and keeping 5 Balb/c mice per cage is recommended as the best condition for mouse housing in IVC .
