1.Recent Progress in Research on Reentry of Neurons into the Cell Cycle
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(09):-
It has been considered that neurons were in a state of terminal differentiation after postmitosis. Recently, however, many data have suggested that the mature neurons may reentry into the cell cycle. Nevertheless, the mechanism of neuronal cell cycle activation remains unclear. The mechanism of cell cycle is an important part in coping with DNA damage in neurons, and the reentry into the cell cycle is to repair the DNA damage. When the damage is too severe to be repaired, it may induce apoptosis.

4. Expression changes of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in hippocampus of rats with post-epilepsy learning and memory deficiency
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;28(5):488-491
Objective: To study the relationship between the learning/memory ability and the expression changes of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) mRNA and protein in hippocampus of epileptic rats kindled by Pentylenetetrazole (PTZ). Methods: Adult male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats, weighing (200 ± 20) g, were randomly divided into status epilepticus (SE) group, Control I, chronic epilepsy (CEP) group and Control II. Rats in SE group were initially administrated i. p. with 40 mg/kg PTZ, 10 min later with 20 mg/ kg PTZ, and then with 10 mg/kg PTZ thereafter until the development of SE; rats in CEP group were administrated with 35 mg/kg PTZ for 3 times at an interval of 48 h, until the development of Racine IV-V epilepsy; and rats in Control I and Control II groups were given normal saline in the same manners as SE group and CEP group, respectively. Alternative electro-stimulus Y-maze test was used to evaluate the learning/memory ability of rats; RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry method were used to determine the expression of BDNF mRNA and protein in rats' hippocampus. Results: On the first and second day after kindling, we found that the total errors of rats in SE group were obviously increased compared with those in Control I (P<0.05); the total errors of CEP group on the first, thirtieth and thirty-first day were obviously increased compared with those in Control II (P<0.05). Lower expression of BDNF mRNA and protein in hippocampus was found 1 day after kindling in SE and CEP group and 30 days after kindling in CEP group. Conclusion: Status epilepsy can induce short term deficiency of learning and memory in rats, while chronic epilepsy induces a longer deficiency. Learning and memory deficiency caused by epilepsy might be related to the decrease of BDNF mRNA and protein expression.

Objective To explore the feasibility and a dv antages of video-assisted minimally invasive thyroidectomy by using the ultrason ic scalpel. Methods A total of 14 patients underwent cervical mini-incision video-assisted minimally invasive partial or subtotal thyroidectom y by using the ultrasonic scalpel. Results All the operations were successfully completed, without conversions to open surgery. The operation time was 30~70 min (mean, 45 min). Postoperative pathological findings showed no dular goiter. All the patients recovered uneventfully, without wound infection o r subcutaneous effusion. The cervical incision was 2.5 cm or so in length. Follo w-up for 3~17 months revealed barely visible scars in the 14 patients. Conclusions Miccoli thyroidectomy is simple to perform and offers excel lent cosmetic results.

Objective To evaluate the curative effect of potassium magnesium aspartate on arrhythmia and heart function in valve replacement postoperative patients of rheumatic heart disease. Methods Two hundred and eighty patients with rheumatic heart disease were divided into 2 groups in random, with no statistical significance. Treatment group (n=155) were received i.v. potassium magnesium aspartate 40 ml every day and control group (n=125) were only given conventional therapy. At the same time they were given same treatment. Blood magnesium level, blood potassium levels, arrhythmia incidences and heart function were also observed. Results Blood magnesium and potassium levels of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group (P

Objective To study the effects of recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH) on the treatment for valve replacement postoperative in rheumatic heart disease associated cardiac eaehex. Methods Fortytwo patients with rheumatic heart disease associated cardiac eachexia were divided into two groups.Group one(n=20,rhGH group) received standard enteral nutrition (15 kal·kg-1 · d-1)with rhGH 10U injection subeutaneously from postoperation day 7 to day 14 and group two(n = 22,eontrol group) received standard enteral nutrition (15 kal·kg-1· d-1) for the same period.Haemoglobin, serum total protein, serum albumin, blood glucose, handgrip exercise and triceps skin_fold thickness were determined.Meehanieal ventilation, hypostatie pneumonia incidence rate, and length of stay were observed. Results The levels of serum total protein, serum albumin and blood glucose eoneentration in the rhGH group at the 14th day were inereased significantly compared to that in the control group(P <0.01).Haemoglobin, triceps skinfold thiekness and handgrip exercise in rhGH group were significantly different from those in the control group(P <0.05).Postoperative meehanieal ventilation time, intensive care unit time, hospital stay time were signifieantly shorter than those in the eontrol group (P < 0.05), and hypostatie pneumonia was significantly lower than that in the eontroi group(P < 0.01).Conclusions The rhGH can obviously improve anabolie effects of patients with rheumatic heart disease associated cardiac eachexia whieh can reduce hypostatie pneumonia and shorten postoperative hospital stay time.

China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2016;29(2):192-196
As an important indicator of total hip arthroplasty (THA) the rate and degree of offset reconstruction play an important role in improving the prognosis and life quality of patients. The reconstruction of femoral offset is closely related to reserved length of calcar femorale, the head and neck length of prosthesis, angle degree of neck shaft and whether lower limb is isometric. Reconstruction strategy includes making a meticulous and standard measurement before the surgery, predicting the reserved length of calcar femorale, selecting a prosthesis with approximate anatomical neck-shaft angle and reconstructing offset by adjusting the head and neck length of the prosthetic during the operation. The aim of this article was to introduce the research progress and influence of offset on hip function, prosthetic wear and postoperative complications such as pain, limp and unequal leg length, and to discuss the reconstruction strategy.

10.Efficacy and Pharmacoeconomic Analysis of Four Proton-pump Inhibitors in the Treatment of Duodenal Ulcer with Hemorrhage
China Pharmacist 2017;20(1):96-98
Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effects and pharmacoeconomic results of four proton-pump inhibitors in the duo-denal ulcer patients with hemorrhage. Methods:Using a retrospective analysis, 90 duodenal ulcer patients with hemorrhage were in-volved. According to the proton pump inhibitors, there was no statistic difference among those groups(P>0. 05). The mean time to stop bleading, hemostalsis rate, and the incidance of adverse drug reactions of those four groups, there were no statistic differece too( P>0. 05). The cost of pantprazole group was much lower than the other three groups by cost-minimication analysis. Results:The effective rate of the four groups was 80. 0%, 86. 7%, 90. 0% and 90. 0%, respectively;there was no statistic difference among those groups(P>0. 05). The mean time to stop bleeding, hemostasis rate, and the incidence of adverse drug reactions of those four groups, there were no statistic difference too(P>0. 05). The cost of pantoprazole group was much lower than the other three groups by cost-minimization alanysis. Conclusion:The effect and safety of the four groups were basically equivalent, while the coot of pantoprazole is lowest, it is the best treatment plan by pharmacoeceonomics.
