Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2006;0(03):-
Objective To observe the effects of estrogen on the behavior and the norepinephrine level in the habenular nucleus of depressive rats, and explore the mechanism of estrogen involved in the process of antidepression. Methods Thirty rats were chosen from forty male Wistar rats, which had the similar scores in open field test. The depression models of rats were established by chronic mild stress.Open field test and forced swimming test were performed to detect the behavioral changes between rats with ovary excision(OVX) and with estradiol-treated ovary excision(OV/ER).High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) was used to observe the changes of norepinephrine level in habenular nucleus. Results After 21-day chronic mild stress, the open field test showed that the vertical motion and cross motion in OV/ER group were increased(P
3.Investigation and analysis of the sources of pressure for nurses during the prevalence of SARS
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(02):-
Objective To provide basis for the formulation of policies and measures that will reduce the work pressure on nurses and to provide them with a better working environment. Methods An investigation was made via questionnaires into 942 nurses working in designated SARS hospitals and a comprehensive analysis was conducted by means of multivariant stepwise regression. Results The major factors affecting the pressure on nurses include: lack of support from and communications with families, arduousness of tasks to an unbearable point, extreme strictness in management, and unsoundness of treatment and living conditions. Conclusion Good communications with families are of great significance to nurses working in isolated areas. It is imperative to rationally allocate the human resources of nurses, show more concern for them, encourage them to participate in management, and strengthen scientific prevention so as to create a better working environment.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(21):1222-1222
Hereditary angioneurotic laryngeal edema (HALE) is an autosomal dominant hereditary disease in which there is a decrease or defect in the C1 inhibitor (C1-INH). The pathophysiology of HALE is characterized by recurrent spontaneous episodes of transient edema of the laryngeal mucose and submucosal tissue with remission at irregular. Patients may die because of a life-threatening acute upper airway obstruction caused by laryngeal edema. HALE was diagnosed on the clinical symptoms, family history, and markedly decreased serum C1-INH activity and C1-INH protein.

Objective To investigate multiparametric immunophenotypic features in patients with acute myelocytic leukemia(AML)-M_2 bearing AML-1/ETO gene rearrangements and its predicting value. Methods A multiparametric flow cytometry was used in the study of phenotypic characterization of the subtype of AML.Immunophenotype of 30 patients with AML(M_2/ETO~+)was analyzed by fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH).The results were compared with 36 patients of AML-M_2 with AML-1/ETO~- (M_2/ETO~-)and 34 acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)patients. Results There were a population. 15.89%-68.53% the blast cell and a population of more differentiated and heterogeneous myeloid cells in the marrow of 30 patients with M_2/ETO~+.The blast cells had a myeloid phenotype(CD_(33),CD_(13)and MPO) and showed a characteristic pattern of antigen expression. The fluorescent intensity of CD_(33)in patients with M_2/ETO~+ was less than in patients with M_2/ETO~-and APL [ mean fluorescent intensity(MFI):98?75 v. 244?184 and 845?523,both P

China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
OBJECTIVE:To prepare risperidone injectable biodegradable implants and study its in vitro release. METHODS: Polylactide-co-glycolide copolymer(PLGA)was chosen for carrier and N-Methyl pyrolidone(NMP)as solvent to prepare risperidone injectable biodegradable implants. The percentage of accumulative drug release within 30 days, the change in molecular weight of copolymer and superficial opening diameters of copolymer in function time were observed. RESULTS:Drug release curve of risperidone injectable biodegradable implants for 30 days was stable with small burst. The percentage of accumulative drug release was 89.01% and the percentage of burst accounted for 13.8% at the first 24 hours. The average molecular weight of copolymer decreased to about 10 000 from 43 000 after 30 days and the size of the superficial openings became larger and larger. CONCLUSION:Risperidone injectable biodegradable implants can release continuously and stably in vitro for 30 days.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2012;35(15):35-37
ObjectiveTo study the expression and clinical significance of osteopontin in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues.MethodsOsteopontin expression was determined in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues in 44 cases and normal mucosa tissues in 25 cases by immunohistochemical staining. The relationship between osteopontin expression and pathological features of nasopharyngeal car(e)inoma was analyzed.ResultsThe positive expression rate of osteopontin in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues and the positive staining area was larger [77.27%(34/44) vs.8.00%(2/25),(60.24 ± 17.51 )% vs.(1.32 ± 0.48)% ](P<0.05).The positive expression of osteopontin was correlated with clinical staging and lymph node metastasis(P < 0.05),while had no relationship with pathological staging(P> 0.05).ConclusionsThere is a close correlation between expression of osteopontin and tumor cell invasion and metastasis.Over-expression of osteopontin may be one of the important factors contributing to the invasion and migration of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2013;(12):1134-1137
Objectives To explore the clinical features of incomplete Kawasaki disease (IKD) which presents with sterile pyuria in infant, in order to achieve early diagnosis and treatment. Methods A retrospective study of 15 infants with IKD was conducted in comparison with 29 patients who were diagnosed with KD according to the diagnostic criteria of American Heart Association 2004. Results Both KD and IKD groups had recurrent fever and poor response to antibiotic therapy. Hemoglobin level was signiifcantly lower in IKD group than in KD group at the onset or 7-d after onset (P<0.05). C-reaction protein (CRP) level was signiifcantly higher in IKD group than that in KD group at 7-d after onset (P<0.05). There were 4 patients with coronary artery abnormality, 2 patients with coronary artery dilation and 2 patients with coro-nary artery aneurysm. Conclusions For infant <1 year old who has pyuria ifrstly, continuous fever for over 5 days when treated by antibiotics and increasing serum inlfammatory markers, incomplete Kawasaki disease should be suspected and the cardiac ultrasound is recommended.
