1.White Matter Dementia
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2001;0(03):-
The concept of white matter dementia was first introduced by Filley in 1988.It was found following behavioral neurologica researches that patients with this type of dementia manifested the dysfunctions of sustained attention, memory retrievial, frontal lobe and visualspatial function. They also had psychiatric manifestations but language and extrapyramidal function remained normal.10 diseases of white matter disorders are listed for understanding the clinical characteristics of this type of dementia.
2.Effect of Guizhi Fuling Bolus on expression of Survivin、P21~(waf/cip) in tumor tissue of tumor-bearing mice
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(07):-
Objective:To Study the molecular mechanism of Guizhi Fuling Bolus(GFW) controlling the tumor growth. Methods:Each of 30 mice received 0.2ml S180 tumor cell suspension subcutaneously in the right axilla. The mice were randomly divided into model group,GFW group and Cyclophosphane(CY) group and with 10 mice in each group.Another ten mice without cancer were used as control. The model group received intragastric normal saline,0.2ml?10g-1?d-1;the GFW group was given intragastric administration,0.2ml?10g-1?d-1 whilst the CY group received intraperitoneal injection of CY at 20mg?kg-1?d-1.The medicines were given to the mice in each group after they were inoculated, once a day for 10 days. The mice were sacrificed and the tumor removed, the S180 mice sarcoma model was used to detect the inhibiting effects of GFW.The protein expressions of P21waf/cip and mRNA expression of Survivin were evaluated by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. Results:For S180 sarcoma, the inhibiting ratio of GFW was 38.93%.Survivin mRNA was markedly declined in the GFW group when compared with the model group(P
3.EFFECT OF SPIRULINA PLATENSIS ON BLOOD CELLS IN THE CHEMOTHERAPY OF ACUTE LEUKEMIA
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Fifty-two cases of acute leukemia were treated with chemotherapy, and forty-one cases in combination vrith Spirulina platensis. After the therapy, the patient's bone marrow was inhibited. The inhibition period of bone marrow was shortened and the recovery period was advanced in the combined Spirylina platensis therapy, the level of peripheral blood cells was raised. The results suggest that the combined spirulina platensis therapy in chemotherapy could accelerate the recovery of the normal hematopoiesis and increase the amounts of blood cells.
4.Electron Micoscopic Observation on Coupling of Sarcoplasmic Reticulum with the Intercalated Disk in Myocardial Cells of Rat
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
The ultrastructure of the relationship between the sarcoplasmic (SR) and the intercalated disk in the atrial myocardial cells of the heart is studied. The results reveal: a coupling exists between the SR and the unspecializsd sarcolem-ma of the intercalated disk. In order to differentiate it from a general peripheral coupling it is called intercalated disk coupling. It possesses 3 morphological features of the peripheral and interior couplings, i. e., the cytoplasmic gap in coupling region is about 11-18 nm in width; the jnctional processes or junc-tional feet are located in the cytoplasmic gap; and the SR contains electronic dense material in its lumen. In the coupling region the RS membranes are not only coupling with the unspecialized membrane of the intercalated disk but also closely apposed to the external membrane of mitochondria. In addition, the gap junction-sarcoplasmic reticulum couplings are formed between the cardial gap junction and the SR. Its ultrastructural characteristics are the same as the cardial couplings. The functional significance of the couplings of the SR with the intercalated disk is discussed.
5.Off-Pump coronary artery bypass grafting: clinical study on myocardial protection
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective: To compare the myocardial protection effect between off-pump coronary artery bypass(OPCAB)and on-pump coronary artery bypass. Methods: 70 patients were divided into 2 groups:off-pump coronary artery bypass(beating group,n=35), and cold blood cardioplegia solution group(cold group,n=35). There was no statistical difference in heart function, sex, age and weight before operation. Blood samples were taken for determine the serum concentration of creatine kinase MB isoenzyme (CK-MB) and troponin-T(cTnT) peri-operatively. Myocardial ultrastructure was also observed. Results: CK-MB, cTnT release in beating group during bypass and post-bypass was lower than that in cold group (P
6.Effects of breviscapine on the injury of rat pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells induced by platelet-activating factor
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Aim To investigate the mechanism of platelet-activating factor(PAF) induced injury on the cultured rat pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells(RPMVEC),and the interfering action of breviscapine. Methods RPMVEC were isolated from Wistar rat and cultured in vitro, the effects of PAF on morphology, monolayer permeability and F-actin of RPMVEC were observed, F-actin expression was evaluated by flow cytometry. Results PAF in the concentration over 0.1 mg?L -1 induced detachment and rupture of RPMVEC within 48 h. 10 mg?L -1 of PAF increased permeability of RPMVEC monolayer and induced depolymerization of F-actin within 120 min.Breviscapine inhibited these effects of PAF. Conclusion ①The detachment and rupture of RPMVEC induced by PAF depends on the exposed concentration and time.②The increased permeability of RPMVEC monolayer induced by PAF is significantly correlated with the depolymerization of F-actin. ③The increased permeability of RPMVEC monolayer and depolymerization of F-actin induced by PAF can be markedly inhibited by breviscapine, which exerts protective action on RPMVEC injury induced by PAF.
7.Progress in diagnosis and treatment of pediatric microscopic polyangiitis
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(5):333-337
Microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) is an anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) associated systemic small vessel vasculitis and is uncommon in children.Pathologically characterized by paucity immune deposition, fibroid necrosis and crescent formation in glomeruli.MPA is a multi-organ involvement disease.Renal is the mostly involved and commonly manifested as aggressive glomerulonephritis.Lung is the most common involved extrarenal organ. Most MPA patients have positive myeloperoxidase-ANCA and positive perinuclear-ANCA.The onset of MPA is usually obscure, which makes early diagnosis difficult.Detection of ANCA is performed in order to discriminate suspected MPA patients earlier.Confirmed diagnosis relies on pathology.Early standardized treatment is a key factor in prognosis.Standard inductive treatment is currently the combination of corticosteroids with the cytotoxic agent cyclophosphamide.Azathioprine is suggested as the first-choice medication in maintenance therapy.Bio-agents,such as Rituximab, have shown good curative effect both in the inductive treatment and maintenance therapy.
8.Application Status and Prospect of Pharmacoeconomics in Evaluation of Traditional Chinese Medicine
China Pharmacist 2015;(6):958-960
Traditional Chinese medicine is considered to have a lot of advantages in many ways when compared with modern medi-cine;however, the advantages are usually difficult to be widely accepted due to lack of evidence. Under the background that the evi-dence-base is paid universal attention all over the world, there is no doubt that it will bring negative effects on the development of tradi-tional Chinese medicine. Providing scientific and rational evidence base is essential for the healthy development of traditional Chinese medicine, and pharmacoeconomic is expected to play an important role in the area. The paper reviewed the study and application status of traditional Chinese medicine and pointed out the main problems, and furthermore, the corresponding countermeasures and sugges-tions were put forward in order to promote the research and application of pharmacoeconomic in the field of traditional Chinese medi-cine.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Glucose-6-phosphatase(G-6-Pase) activity in the atrial and ventricular muscle cells of the rats is examined by electron microscopy. The reaction product of G-6-Pase activity is present in the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) and the nuclear envelope of the myocardial cells. A heterogenous distribution of G-6-Pase activity in the cardial muscle cells is detected. In the myocardial cells the cytochemical reaction product for G-6-Pase activity is observed in a larger amount in the peripheral junctional sarcoplasmic reticulum(PJ-SR)and interior junctional SR(IJ-SR), and in smaller amounts in the nuclear envelope, is rarely present or absent in the network SR(N-SR).The possible functional significance of G-6-Pase in cardial muscle cells is discussed.
