Reccent investigations demonstrated that genetically modified tumor cells could be used as vaccines against cancer. In this light, we introduced human interleukin -2 (IL-2) gene into a poorly immunogenic rat fibrosarcoma cell line WBT, a human lung abenocarcinoma cell line AGZY and a highly metastatie sub - cell line Anip973 derived from AGZY. The transduced cells showed no obvious changes in morphology, growth and colony - forming ability in soft agar.Transduction with IL-2 gene rendered the cells more sensitive than the parental cells and cells transduced with NeoR gene alone to the lysis by cytotoxic lymphocytes. High levels of IFN and TNF were detected in the supernatants of cocultured lymphocytes and tumor cells containing IL-2 gene. Tumorigenicity of WBT/IL-2 cells was greatly reduced in syngeneic rats. Metastatic capacity of Anip973 in nude mice was blocked by the transduction of IL-2 gene, but not the transduction of NeoR gene alone. Inoculation of WBT/IL-2 cells conferred rats resistance to the challenge of parental WBT cells.Splenocytes from WBT/IL-2-inoculated rats restimulated with WBT cells in vitro showed high CTL activity against WBT cells. Our results demonstrated the potential application of tumor cells transduced with IL— gene as active vaccine against cancer.

Objective:Combined laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and therapy of the female infertity is and advanced means in the gynecologcial field.We analysed the causes and the treatments of the 71 infertile patients.Pelvic adhesions,endometrosis and salpingtis were the main causes of infertity in our 71 cases.Of 71 cases,29 cases were primary infertity,in whichc endometriosis,PCOS and anatomic uterine defect were the main causes,and 42 cases were secondary infertity,in which 35 cases (83%) had previous intrauterine operations.All the patients were treated for the causes.We concluded that combined laparoscopy and hysteroscopy can diagnose the causes of infertity and can observe the tubal patency by hysteroscopic tubal cathertetization and hydrotubation,which will direct the treatments and estimate the results of the therapy.Methods:Infertity;Combined Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy.

Objective To define whether correlation exists between the enlargement of lateral ventricles and motor development delay. Methods Motor development was assessed with Peabody Developmental Motor Scale (PDMS) in 28 children with cerebral palsy. Correlation between computerized tomography (CT) findings of enlargement of lateral ventricles (ventricle index,body index,width index and frontal horn index) and motor quotients of PDMS(GMQ,FMQ and TMQ) was analyzed. Objective:To study the application of herbs of National TCM Master Li Jiren on treating atrophy with deficiency syndrome. Methods:By collecting 195 cases of atrophy-disease treated by Professor Li in Out-patient Medical Record System dated from January 2013 to December 2018, and FP-Growth computing paradigm was used to analyze frequency, FP-Growth enhanced computing paradigm was used to analyze the frequencyand association of symptoms and herbal pairs. Professor Li’s experience was accordingly summurized with clinic situation and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Results:There are 121 main symptoms among 195 selected cases, and amyotrophy (79 times), decreased muscle strength (69 times), difficulty in walking (52 times), weakness of upper extremities (43 times) and poor sleeping quality (33 times) rank the top 5 symptom. In terms of tongue manifestations, the color pink, pale, red and purple are the most; while in terms of pulses, weak, thread, deep and stringy were frequent. A total of 159 sorts of herbs were collected and Astragali Radix (140 times), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (103 times), Cistanches Herba (93 times), Psoraleae Fructus (87 times), Morindae Officinalis Radix (81 times) were the top 5. The herbs used are mainly with the function of tonifying deficiency, dispelling wind and dampness promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasisand. most of the herbs belong to liver, kidney and spleen meridians with warm character, sweet and bitter in taste. Association analysis between high-frequency herbs indicated that Astragali Radix is the core of most formulas, which conformed to Li’ s clinical experience. Three prescriptions were also obtained through cluster analysis. Conclusion:Professor Li treated atrophy diseases with deficiency syndrome by the unique idea of strengthening primordial qi and consolidating body resistance of Xin’an Medicine school. On the ground of using herbs to tonify, synergy of herbs, which were able todispel pathogenic wind, dredge channels and promote blood circulation for removing blood stasis, was achieved based on differentiation.

A retrospective analysis of 3 patients with nasal sinus foreign body caused by debris flow admitted to our department. All of the three patients showed foreign odor and mucopurulent discharge in nasal cavity after the debris flow blast injury. CT examination found high density soft tissue shadow or calcification in the nasal sinus. All the diagnoses were nasal sinus foreign body in three patients. The nasal sinus foreign bodies was dislodged through endoscopic sinus surgery. Three patients are all well-healed.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of small-dose ranitidine hydrochloride and diphenoxy- late compositae in the combined treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(D-IBS).Methods A prospective,randomized controlled clinical trial was designed.150 D-IBS patients according to RomeⅡcriteria were randomly divided into combined treatment group and control group.The combined treatment group(74 patients)re- ceived ranitidine hydrochloride,0.15g,each evening and diphenoxylate compositae,1 piece,each evening.The control group(76 patients)received diphenoxylate compositae,1 piece,rid.This study consisted of a 2-week baseline period, a 3-week treatment period,followed by a 2-week follow-up period.The main efficacy variable was assessed by per- ception of overall symptom during the previous weeks.Secondary efficacy variables included severity of diarrhea,ab- dominal pain and distention and other symptoms.Results After treatment of 3 weeks,the efficacy of the combined treatment group was better than that of the control group(x~2=5.10,P
