2. Effect of flavonoid from Glycyrrhizae Radix on small intestine epithelium IEC-6 cell migration and intracellular polyamine content
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(19):2722-2726
Objective: To observe the effect of flavonoid from Glycyrrhizae Radix (FGR) on the migration of small intestinal epithelial cells (IEC-6) and intracellular polyamines content. Methods: The cell migration model was constructed by scratch method. Under the intervention of α-difluoromethylornithine (DFMO), the specific inhibitor of polyamine synthesis, or 4-aminopyridine (4-AP), the specific inhibitor of potassium channel, the effect of FGR on cell migration was observed. The intracellular polyamine content being cultured for 12 or 24 h in normal and DFMO intervention condition was detected by precolumn derivatization-HPLC. Results: FGR could reverse the inhibitory effects of DFMO and 4-AP on cell migration, increase the intracellular content of polyamines after 12 or 24 h treatment, and reserve the decrease of polyamine content caused by DFMO. Conclusion: FGR could affect the polyamine-dependent signaling pathway, which may be related to the mechanisms for FGR promoting cell migration.
3.Quantitative ultrasound test of calcaneus in 647 women in Guangzhou area
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(4):222-223
ObjectiveTo study changes of bone measured with quantitative ultrasound (QUS) in women of Guangzhou area and provide scientific basis for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis (OP).MethodsCalcaneus measurement was done with QUS in 647 women of Guangzhou area, and measurement data was analyzed.ResultsIn menopause and aged women, broadband ultrasound attenuation (BUA) showed a significantly decrease (P<0.01), whereas it decreased only slightly in early postmenopausal women (P>0.05). After the peak of BMD, speed of sound (SOS) showed a stepwise decline, and significantly decrease in menopause (P<0.01), but not significant over eighties (P>0.05). In contrast, stiffness index (STI) significantly decreased from the menopause, and it was a better indicator than BUA or SOS.ConclusionQUS can not only test bone mass but also assess microarchitecture, and it is nonradioactive, cheaper, easier to use, and may play a important role in diagnosis of osteoporosis and women and senile health.
4.Delayed onset diffuse lamellar keratitis following laser in situ keratomileusis
International Eye Science 2008;8(10):1992-1993
AIM: To report a case of late onset diffuse lamellar keratitis (DLK) after laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK) in 11 months due to corneal trauma. ·METHODS: A 22-year-old female patient underwent uneventful bilateral LASIK using a laserSight SLX excimer laser and Moria II microkeratome. No complications were observed during the operation and the early postoperative period.·RESULTS: 11 months after LASIK, grade I DLK was diagnosed after the book paper hurt the right corneal epithelium. The DLK responded rapidly to topical corticosteroid therapy, and healed in 2 weeks without complication. ·CONCLUSION: Although DLK Wpically develops in the early postoperative period, it could occur months after surgery. Treatment should begin as soon as DLK is diagnosed.
5.Application of traditional Chinese medicine in IVF-ET.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(16):3142-3146
The factors impacting the pregnancy rate and the live birth rate mainly include ovary function disorder and low endometrial receptivity, which can cause the difficulty in embryo implantation, early miscarriage and pregnancy failure. In recent years, researchers of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) have made active efforts in assisting IVF-ET, so as to achieve a great advance in improving the ovary reaction, treating the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), improving the follicle, embryo quality and endometrial receptivity and protecting the fetus, which had been summarized in this article.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2014;30(7):502-505
Objective To investigate the profit-loss of the hospital's DRGs pilot and its reasons. Methods An investigation of the profit-loss situation of 9 225 cases of a hospital in Beijing, who have been discharged from December 2011 to December 2013 and grouped into 105 DRG pilot groups. Results As shown in the medical records of 9 225 cases,96.54% are covered by urban employee basic medical insurance, and 3.46% by urban residents' medical insurance; 78 DRGs groups were recorded as with profit(74.29 %),while 27 recorded as with a loss(25.71%) ;average length of stay as 9.37 days, average expense per hospitalization per person as 18 032.27 yuan, average quota standard as 17 337.53 yuan, average out-of-pocket cost as 829.47 yuan, average second charge as 2 448.57 yuan, average profit as 2 583.29 yuan, average sum of out-of-pocket payment ratio and second charge ratio as 12.46%.Conclusion The current DRGs pilot model shows the hospital as profit making in general, with no significant impact on the hospital.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
The patients received massive blood transfusion in General Hospital of the Chinese Pepole's Liberation Army between 1999to 2001were reviewed. The following items of leucodepleted blood transfusion (LDBT)group and routing blood transfusion(RBT) group at pretransfusion, the first day, third day, and seventh day after blood transfusion were recorded and compared: glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT), glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase(GOT), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), total bilirubin(TB), direct bilirubin(DB), alkalescence phosphorylase(ALP), total protein(TP), albumin(ALB), glucose (GLU), Ca 2+ , total CO 2, pH and febrile nonhemolytic transfusion reactions(FNHTR). The results showed that compared with RBT group, GPT in LDBT group on the third day after blood transfusion was significantly lower ( P 0 05). When antiallergic medicine was given, FNHTR rate of massive blood transfusion in RBT and LDBT groups was 27% and 1 9%( P

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the relationship between different behavior types with classification of TCM and emotional disturbance in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients. Methods Two hundred and forty-two CAD patients were investigated and grouped to A or B type behavior with type A behavior pattern questionnaire (TABPQ) and symptom check-list 90 (SCL-90). To analysis the emotional disturbance in two groups and investigate their relations with syndrome classification of TCM. Results SCL-90 factor score of anxiety and depression in CAD patients was obviously higher than Chinese norm. Factor score of depression, anxiety, hostility, phobia, paranoid and psychotic state in A-type behavior group was obviously higher than that in B-type group, with statistical significance (P

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2010;45(1):109-13
The pharmaceutical properties, including the physical and chemical properties, and the bioavailability are greatly influenced by their polymorphism. In this paper the polymer heteronuclei were used to produce the gabapentin polymorphs that were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, FT-IR and DSC. The results indicated that the polymer heteronuclei are an effective method to control and select the gabapentin polymorphism. One new polymorph of gabapentin was found besides all known gabapentin polymorphs.
