Objective To study the ultrasonographic and acoustic contrast features of breast fibroadenoma and breast cancer and explore the value of contrast enhanced ultrasonography in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors. Method A retrospective analysis of 18 cases breast fibroadenoma and 12 cases breast cancer in the performance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound was done. Results After contrast agent injection, tumor dimension increased in 4 cases with breast fibroadenoma and 7 cases with breast cancer. The ultrasonographic and acoustic contrast features of breast fibroadenoma showed no significant changes. They showed stenosis, perpendicular and circumambulates vascular shape. The breast cancers significantly increased the number of tumor blood vessels with the thicker, tortuous blood vessels into the tumor. Conclusions The contrast enhanced ultrasonography assessed more accurate size of tumors. The image displayed grown sizes, more vascularity and bending vascular shape in the breast cancer. It was more accurate than gray-scale ultrasound on diagnosing breast cancer.

This study aims to explore the differences of event-related potential (ERP) between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and normal children, so that these differences provide scientific basis for the diagnosis of ADHD. Eight children were identified to be ADHD group by the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV (diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders-IV), and the control group also consisted of 8 normal children. Modified visual-continuous performance test (CPT) was used as the experiment paradigm. The experiment included two major conditions, i. e. Go and NoGo. All the 16 subjects participated in the study. A high density EEG acquisition instrument was used to record the EEG signal and processed these EEG data by means of ERP and spectrum analysis. P2-N2 peak-peak value and spectral peak around 11 Hz were analyzed between ADHD subjects and those in the control group, and then statistical tests were applied to these two groups. Results showed that: (1) Under the condition of Go, ADHD group had a significant lower P2-N2 peak-peak value than the values in the control group (P < 0.05); but under the condition of NoGo there was no significant difference in between. (2) Compared with the control group, the ADHD group had significant lower spectral amplitude around 11 Hz under the condition of NoGo (P < 0.05). However, under the condition of Go the difference was insignificant. In conclusion, there is certain cognitive dysfunction in ADHD children. P2-N2 peak-peak value and spectral peak around 11 Hz could be considered as clinical evaluation indexes of ADHD children's cognitive function. These two objective indexes provide an early diagnosis and effective treatment of ADHD.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate and analyze the causative factors and characteristics of drug-induced rhabdomyolysis in China,in order to reduce the incidence of rhabdomyolysis. METHODS:Search all cases of rhabdomyolysis in China Knowledge Re-source Integrated Database from Jan 1975 to Jun 2014. Sex,age, disease history, drugs administered, drug combination, clinical presentation and outcome of rhabdomyolysis were censused and analyzed. RESULTS:There were altogether 185 rhabdomyolysis cas-es reported,of which 57.8% were over 60 years old ,78.9% were induced by lipid regulators, and 55.7% were by statins;74.1%occurred within 1 month after drug administration, and 86.6% became normal within 1 month when causative drugs discontinued or with treatment;and 4.9% died. CONCLUSIONS:Eldly, complicated with multi-factors,such as multiple organ dysfunction syn-drome,irrational drug combination and over-doses,especially with lipid regulators, are important causative factors of rhabdomyoly-sis. Individualized administration of drugs and prescription as less as possible should be recommended to reduce the incidence of rhabdomyolysis.
