5.Effect and mechanism of IL-18BP on acute graft-versus-host disease
Chinese Journal of Immunology 2001;0(07):-
Objective:To investigate the effect and the mechanism of interleukin-18 binding protein(IL-18BP) on acute graft-versus-host disease(aGVHD) in allogeneic bone marrow transplantation(allo-BMT) in mice.Methods:C57BL/6 recipient mice irradiated with 60Co were randomly divided into 2 groups: group A and B and were transfused with BALB/c donor cells. After transplantation recipient mice in group A were treated with NS subcutaneously daily from day 0 to day 5 and recipient mice in group B with 1 ?g IL-18BP,separately.The severity of aGVHD was evaluated in the two groups.Concentrations of IFN-?,IL-2,IL-4 and IL-10 were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results:aGVHD response was more severe in group A than that in group B.The serum concentrations of IFN-? and IL-2 in group A were higher than that in group B,while the serum concentrations of IL-10 and IL-4 were lower than that in group B.Conclusion:①IL-18BP can decrese aGVHD response;②That IL-18BP can promote the differentiation of CD4~+T cells into CD4~+Th2 cells, that is promoted by IL-18BP might be one of the mechanisms of decreasing aGVHD.
6.Comparison of curative effect of different media in pediatric tuina for infantile muscular torticollis
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2017;15(6):451-456
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of different media in pediatric tuina treatment for children with muscular torticollis. Methods: A total of 80 children with muscular torticollis were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 40 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional pediatric tuina therapy. The observation group was treated with Bai Mai ointment as the massage medium, while the common lubrication oil was used as medium in the control group. Both groups were treated five times a week, 20 min for each time, 20 times constituted a course of treatment. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores were evaluated before and after treatment, and the curative effect was observed after 3 courses and 6 courses of treatment respectively. Results: The TCM syndrome scores improved in both groups after treatment, and the intra-group differences were statistically significant (both P<0.01). The score of the observation group was statistically different from that in the control group (P<0.05). In the observation group, the total effective rates after 3 courses and 6 courses of treatment were 95.0%and 100.0%, respectively, versus 87.5% and 95.0% in the control group. The total effective rates of the two groups were statistically different (both P<0.05). Conclusion: Bai Mai ointment has a better curative effect than the common lubricating oil as a massage medium in the treatment of children with muscular torticollis.

8.Stroke and malnutrition
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(10):764-767
The patients with stroke is often accompanied by malnutrition, its causes include eating less, increased catabolism, and intestinal dysfunction, etc. Malnutrition can not only aggravate the extent of brain damage in patients with stroke, but also increase the incidence of complications, and thus affecting the course and prognosis of stroke. Therefore, correct evaluation of the nutritional status in stroke patients, choosing the appropriate nutrient timing and nutritional support methods have important significance. Among a variety of nutritional assessment methods, the scored Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment can quickly identify malnutrition in stroke patients. Early enteral nutrition support, including oral nutritional supplements, nasogastric tube feeding and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, can significantly improve the prognosis in stroke patients. Among them, nasogastric tube feeding is the first choice for nutritional support in stroke patients.
9.Computed tomography diagnosis of xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2011;10(2):150-152
Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis (XGC) is benign and chronic, which is rarely seen in clinical practice. The clinical and imaging presentation of XGC is similar to that of chronic cholecystitis, cholecystolithiasis and gallbladder cancer.Summarizing the computed tomography (CT) presentations of XGC is helpful in improving the diagnostic accuracy. According to the result of a retrospective analysis based on the clinical data of 17 patients with XGC, we concluded that rim enhancement sign and hypodense band sign in the arterial phase of contrast enhanced CT, and clear in interface between liver and gallbladder and trimness of internal wall in gallbladder are the CT characteristics of XGC.
