1.Project management strategy for a research hospital
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2010;23(4):232-234
According to the research demands of the Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, we adjusted the strategy for project management of the hospital. We prioritized clinical researches, creating favorable atmosphere for the projects and the research talents to develop. We increased program budget, trained applicants, and standadized the management. Meanwhile, it was important to attend to the relationships between the following factors:the quantity of support and the quality of project, the strict regulation criteria and the free research atmosphere, and the short-term goals and the long-term effects.
2.Analysis on awarded research achievements of Cancer Hospital/Institute, CAMS & PUMC
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2008;21(4):235-237
The data of awarded research achievements of Cancer Hospital/Institute CAMS & PUMC were analyzed in this article. It showed that achievements were mainly focused on esophageal cancer, head and neck cancer.liver cancer and cervical cancer. However, the main disciplines for the achievements were etiology, genetics, cell biology, immunology and surgery. These results indicated that base on the cancer control practice in China, focus on prevention in field stations, close collaboration among different disciplines and keeping the academic team working efficiently and developing continually is the key to obtain thus research achievements.
3.Diagnostic value of random spot urine albumin/creatinine ratio in women with hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy
Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(7):777-780
Objective To explore the correlation of random spot albuminuria to creatinine ratio (ACR) and 24 h uri?nary protein, and the diagnostic value of ACR in women with hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy (HDCP). Meth?ods A total of 584 women with HDCP (169 with gestational hypertension, 205 with mild pre-eclampsia, 173 with severe pre-eclampsia and 37 with chronic hypertension) and 2 038 normal pregnant women were included in this study. Changes of ACR, 24-h urinary protein and other biochemical indicators were compared between groups. Bivariate correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between ACR, 24-h urinary protein and other biochemical indicators. Receiver operat?ing characteristic curve (ROC) was used to analyze the sensitivity, specificity and optimal cut off value of ACR for predicting HDCP. Results (1)There were significantly higher levels of ACR, 24-h urinary protein, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (Cr), uric acid (UA), total cholesterol (TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) and significantly lower val?ues of platelet (PLT), serum albumin and total protein in women with severe preeclampsia than those of other groups ( P <0.05). (2) There were positive correlation between ACR and 24-h urinary protein, BUN, Cr, UA, D-dimer, TC, LDL (P <0.05). (3) The optimal cut off value of ACR for predicting gestational hypertension, mild preeclampsia, severe preeclampsia (24-h urinary protein≥2 g,≥5 g) were 1.44, 10.48, 39.84, 94.91 g/mol separately. Conclusion There is positive correla?tion between ACR and 24 hour urinary protein. ACR can be used for diagnosing and estimating the severity degree of hyper?tensive disorders complicating pregnancy.
4.Statistical analysis on papers of Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Science from 2004 to 2013
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2015;28(1):99-102
Objective We analyzed the current status of research publications and its citation in the Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, aimed to provide information for policy making in the office of research management. Methods We analyzed the number of published, cited frequency and subject classification for the research articles published in the Cancer Hospital,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from 2004 to 2013.Results A total of 3749 research papers had been published from during the study period; cited frequency was 12633.Papers were mainly focused on three types of study, including cancer treatment, diagnosis, etiology and prevention. Conclusions Quantity of publications from 2004 to 2013 in Cancer Hospital,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences were improved significantly. The number of SCIE papers, cited papers and citation frequency increased as well, the number of articles cited and cited overall rate was essentially flat.It suggested that over the past decade academic research capabilities of Cancer Hospital in the field of cancer research continues to improve, however we should identify the existing problems and explore the strategy to improve the research ability.
5.Multi-angle Explorative Analysis of NSFC Peer Review Evaluative Factors
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2015;28(2):160-163
Objective To analyze the factors that affecting peer review evaluation for National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) award application. Methods Base on the feedback of NSFC peer review experts, total 10 evaluation factors were extracted for analysis. The percentage of common problem and in application, and percentage of key criteriaconcerned by reviewers, and their effect on funding situation were analyzed. Results 10 evaluatiion factors were divided into 4 groups:core factors including research content and innovation;factors including hypothesis, budget and writing, basic factors including the significance of research and previous study, general factors including experience and capacity of applicants, research team and laboratory condition. Conclusions Analysis and evaluate of peer review factors from different angle may help applicants and administrators to improve the quality of NSFC application and evaluation.
6.Investigation on Variety of Blood Zinc,Copper,Iron,Calcium Levels in Children with Lead Poisoning
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To discuss the variety of blood zinc, copper, iron, calcium level in children of lead poisoning Methods The stratified - random sampling method was used. Five hundred and forty children were selected in the urban areas, the rural areas and the islands. We examined blood lead level and other elements levels of these children, and analyzed the changes of these elements levels on condition of lead poisoning. Results The blood zinc level of children with lead poisoning was (4. 93 ? 1 12) mg/L, it was significantly lower than that of children without lead poisoning( t = 2.282 P
