4.Pharmacological Control Study between Tripterygium Hypoglaucum Hutch and Tripterygium Wilfordii
Journal of Kunming Medical University 1990;0(02):-
Tripterygium Hypoglaucum Hutch and Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook.f are all Evonymus alata family Tripterygium Wilfordii genus plants. They are generally used in the clinical treatment in department of dermatology. They resemble each other not only in some chemical constitutions, but also in some pharmacologic actions(such as anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,immune suppression, antifertility and so on),but they are all poisonous plants. When they are used for therapy, they can induce some toxic reactions, even the death of patients. In order to facilitate the adoption of the two drugs,we review their pharmacologic actions.
5.Analysis of Usage of Traditional Chinese Medicine Injections in Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College During 2010-2012
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(10):117-121
Objective To probe into the application feature and use tendency of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injections in our hospital; To evaluate rational drug use and provide reference for related researches. Methods TCM injections in our hospital during 2010-2012 were analyzed by employing the analytic method of defined daily dose, with a purpose to evaluate frequency of drug use and rationality of medication expenses. Results From 2010 to 2012, drug possession rate of TCM injections in our hospital was 4.07%-4.47%;the amount of medication accounted for 10.50%to 12.69%of the amount of all drugs;the annual growth rate increased significantly, among which TCM injections used for removing blood stasis took the lead;frequency of drug use rose annually;medication synchrony in 3 years indicated that daily expensesof Shenkang Injection, Aidi Injection, salvianolateinjection, safflor yellow sodium chloride injection and other TCM injections were on the high side. Conclusion From 2010 to 2012, TCM injections in the clinical application in our hospital were of relatively high frequency, and the TCM injections used for removing blood stasis took the lead. Daily expenses of TCM injections drugs were on the high side and there may be unreasonable application.
6.The surgical therapy of recurrent retroperitoneal malignant fibrous histiocytoma:an analysis of 29 cases
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(08):-
Objective To sum up the clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of recurrent retroperitoneal malignant fibrous histiocytoma (RMFH). Methods[WT5”BZ] Clinical data of 29 recurrent RMFH from 1990 to 2002 were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsTwelve (41.4%) cases underwent total tumor resection after the first recurrence. Seven cases underwent multiple viscera resection,of which two did after the first recurrence, three after second and the other two after third recurrence. Twenty-five patients were followed up for 6 months to 8 years,The 1,3 and 5 year survival rate was 73.2%,46.7% and 19.8% respectively. [WT5”HZ]ConclusionTotal tumor resection is an effective way to treat RMFH,and multiple viscera combined resection increases the success rate of total tumor resection.
7.Study on injection therapy of Forrest graded peptic ulcer bleeding under endoscopy
Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 1996;0(04):-
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of e ndoscopic injection on Forrest graded peptic ulcer bleeding and evaluate its sig nificance. Methods From July 2001 to August 2002, eighty-one patients wi th haematemesis and/or hematochezia diagnosed as peptic ulcer by immediate endos copy were divided into two groups based on Forrest grading, 41 were treated with injection therapy (injection group); other 40 with conservative therapy only (c ontrol group). Results The haemostatic rates in injection therapy group and co ntrol group were 95 1% and 80 0% respectively with prominent statistical diffe rence (P
8.Role of transforming growth factor-? in the airway inflammation and remodeling in asthma
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(08):-
Transforming growth factor-?(TGF-?)was reported to be increased in asthma in some studies. Accumulation of TGF-? in airway promotes smooth muscle cell mitogenesis and hyperplasia, and induces fibroblast and myofibroblast and smooth muscle proliferation as well as increase in protein synthesis in connective tissue(such as collagen deposition on the reticular basement membrane). The autocrine induction of collagen expression by smooth muscle may contribute to the thickening of the reticular basement membrane, irreversible fibrosis and remodeling seen in the airways in some asthmatics. TGF-? is considered to be a major fibrogenic cytokine. It can increase smooth muscle mass and lead to severe bronchial obstruction in an asthma attack.
9.The value of procalcitonin in interpretation of infection with systemic use of glucocorticosteroid
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2013;36(11):1052-1054
It is difficult to interpret the infection after glucocorticosteroid treatment because glucocorticosteroid will lead to increased peripheral blood neutrophils.Procalcitonin (PCT) is a major biomarker, which can be used as the basis for early diagnosis of severe bacterial infections. The level of PCT is not inhibited by glucocorticosteroid.PCT can be used to interpret infection as systemic use of glucocorticosteroid
10.Protective effects of pomegranate glycosides on LPS-induced acute lung injury to mice
Chinese Journal of Immunology 2015;(10):1329-1332
Objective:To investigate the protective effect of punicalagin in LPS induced ALI.Methods: ALI mice model was induced by intraperitoneal injection of LSP(20 mg/kg bodyweight) to induce acute lung injury in mice.A total of 60 mice were divided into 6 groups,10 rats in each group:normal control group,LPS group,LPS+punicalagin group (10,20,40 mg/kg bodyweight),LPS+dexamethasone group.2 h before LPS injection, punicalagin and dexamethasone were intraperitoneal injection in mice, and then by intra-peritoneal injection of a lethal dose of LPS, normal control group mice were given intraperitoneal injection of an equal volume of PBS.HE staining, observed the lung tissue of mice in the different treatment conditions of the pathological changes and the degree of lung injury, weighted the wet lung and dry lung of the mice respectively, observed degree of pulmonary edema in mice, inspect MPO activity of lung homogenate, analyzed the activation and infiltration of polymorphonuclear, counted the total number of cells and the number of inflammatory cells in alveolar lavage fluid, detected the concentration of inflammatory cytokines in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid with ELISA,and analyzed the impact of punicalagin on inflammation of lung tissue. Results: HE staining of lung tissue in mice and found that the LPS-induced lung inflammatory cell infiltration, interstitial edema and pulmonary parenchymal damage were significantly reduced.Different dose of punicalagin could significantly reduce the lung wet/dry lung weight ratio of ALI in mice ( P<0.05).Punicalagin ALI could reduce lung tissue caused exudation, edema. The different doses of punicalagin could significantly reduce the inflammatory cells in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, the sum of the number of neutrophils and macrophages (P<0.05).Punicalagin could significantly reduce the concentration in the bronchoalveolar lavage cytokines IL-6,IL-12,TNF-αand IL-1β(P<0.05).The MPO activity was detected that punicalagin reduce neutrophil infiltration induced by LPS in the lung tissue. Conclusion: Punicalagin has protective effects on LPS induced acute lung injury.
