Objective To evaluate the effects of intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy with sustained release 5-fluorouracil for implantation(5-Fu SRI) for the treatment of locally advanced colon cancer. Methods A total of 70 patients with locally advanced primary colon cancer(T4N0M0 and stage Ⅲ) undergoing radical resection were divided into treatment group(n=36,intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy with 600mg 5-Fu SRI)and control group(n=34,intraoperative intraperitoneal flushing with 1000mg 5-fluorouracil injection). Both groups received the same postoperative chemotherapy regime.The 2-year survival rate,local recurrence rate and distant metastasis rate were retrospectively analysed. Results The 2-year survival rate and local recurrence rate were more favourable in treatment group than those in control group(P0.05). Conclusion Intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy with 5-Fu SRI may decrease postoperative local recurrence rate and increase 2year survival rate.

To study on the phylogenetic characterization of the VP1 genes of coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16) causing hand-food-mouth disease (HFMD) isolated from Anhui province in 2014. A total of 413 throat swab specimens from HFMD patients were collected during January to November, 2014 for the isolation and identification of enteroviruses using real-time RT-PCR assays. The VP1 regions of CVA16 isolates were amplified using RT-PCR and sequenced. And the phylogenetic tree was constructed among the VP1 regions of those isolates, the different genotypes and sub-genotypes of CVA16 strains. A total of 97 enteroviruses were isolated from 413 samples, the positive rate was 23.49% (97/413), including seventeen CVA16, seventy six HEV71 and four other enteroviruses. The results of the phylogenetic tree showed that 17.CVA16 strains isolated from Anhui in 2014 clustered within B1b evolution branch of B1 genotype. The nucleotide and amino acid sequence identities were 95.30%-100% and 98.70%-100% among the isolates, respectively, but within B1b branch of 17 strains formed several small transmission chains. The nucleotide acid of 17 CVA16 isolates in Anhui province were closed to the strains isolated from Yunnan, Hunan, Guangdong, Tibet and Jiangsu, especially from Hunan in 2013 and from Shenzhen of Guangdong in 2014, the identity were 96.40%-99.70%. The CVA16 strains isolated from Anhui in 2014 were all belong to genetic subtype B1b of B1 genotype was dominant, and among those isolates, several small virus transmission chains had formed with co-circulating and evolution.

To study the pharmacokinetic effect of different combined administration with monarch drug Ziziphi Spinosae Semen on its main components in rats. Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into Ziziphi Spinosae Semen group, Ziziphi Spinosae Semen-Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis group, Ziziphi spinosae Semen-Salviae Miltiorrhize Radix et Rhizoma group and Zaoren Ansheng prescription group. After oral administration, HPLC was eluted with the mobile phase of acetonitrle-0.03% phosphate acid water in a gradient mode. The detection wavelength was 280 nm. The pharmacokinetic parameters of spinosin and ferulic acid were calculated by DAS 2. 0 software. Compared with Ziziphi Spinosae Semen group, Ziziphi Spinosae Semen-Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis group, Ziziphi Spinosae Semen-Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma group showed a lower maximum plasma concentration (C(max)) and area under curve (AUC(0-t)) for spinosin and ferulic acid but higher clearance speed (CL/F); whereas the Zaoren Ansheng prescription group showed higher maximum plasma concentration (C(max)) and area under curve (AUC(0-t)) for spinosin and ferulic acid but lower clearance speed (CL/F). Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of reconstruction of the mandibular defect in patients with osteoradionecro-sis using submental artery island flap and reconstructive Ti-plate.Methods:20 cases with mandible osteoradionecrosis underwent par-tial mandibulectomy.The submental artery island flap and reconstructive Ti-plate were used to reconstruct the mandibular defects and adjacent soft tissue defects.The post-operative effects and flap successful rate were evaluated with a follow-up period of 6 to 1 8 months.Results:1 9 flaps were well survived,local necrosis in the remote end was observed in 1 flap,but survived by hyperbaric ox-ygen therapy and iodoform gauze dressing,no plate exposure was found after operation in the follow up period.All patients were satis-factory with the outlook.Conclusion:Submental artery island flap combined with reconstructive Ti-plate is feasible in the treatment of osteoradionecrosis.

After half a century of self-innovation, the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine has witnessed the great progress in both clinical and basic research. However, the theoretical system of the integrative medicine does not break through the limitations of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, which hinders its implication in experimental study and clinical work. In view of the current situation, to develop the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine further, efforts should be made in such aspects as educational system construction, talent personnel training, improving the level of clinical practice and corresponding basic research as well as the establishing the basic theoretical system.

1.6 kb ?4-desaturase gene(FAD4)was amplified by PCR using plasmid pGEM-TFAD4 as template.The fragment was subcloned into the HindⅢ/XbaⅠrestriction site of pYES2.0 vector.Recombinant plasmid pYFAD4 was transformed into Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain INVScl for expression.It was found to exhibit ?4-fatty acid desaturase activity in the recombinant S.cerevisiae YFAD4 in the presence of exogenous fatty acid substrate docosapentaenoic acid(100?mol/L)under introduction of GAL1.Expression of the FAD4 under appropriate media and temperature conditions led to the production of DHA and it reached 41.13% of the total yeast fatty acid by GC detection.It was suggested that the protein encoded by FAD4 could specifically catalyze DPA into DHA.

Objective To evaluate the theraputic effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE)for hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of portal vein.Methods One hundred and six patients of hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of portal vein under treament of TACE were observed before and after the procedure.Results After TACE tumor size reduced＞50% in 23 patients,＜50% in 25, no significant change in 44.The size of tumor enlarged in 12.The disappearance of portal vein tumor thrombosis accessed in 14,with reduction in 39,and no significant change in 51.Two patients died within one week.Conclusion TACE provides good therapeutic effect on hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of portal vein.

Objective To make up an exercise prescription based on traditional Chinese medical training (EP-TCMT) for patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods Eighty-five pa- tients with stable COPD were randomly divided into a control group (CG group),a traditional Chinese medicine group ( TC group) and an exercise prescription group ( EP group).The patients in the TC and EP groups were giv- en intensive training for 8 weeks.Their 6 rain walk distance (6MWD) and Borg scale scores were assessed before and after the treatment.Results The 6MWD in the TC group increased from 337.68?59.18 m to 386.14?76.71 m,while those in the EP group improved from 348.00?55.94 m to 425.17?53.22 m.The Borg scale scores in the TC group decreased from 3.14?1.94 to 2.32?1.25,while those in the EP group declined from 3.45?1.84 to 1.72?0.70.Conclusion Making up EP-TCMTs is feasible.Additional treatment was found to improve exercise tolerance and decrease dyspnea in COPD patients.Exercise therapy based on traditional Chinese methods is easy and safe.
