A novel oral delivery system that TPGS modified docetaxel proniosomes, DTX-TPGS-PN, was developed and the characterization after hydration was observed. Firstly, Doce-TPGS-PN was optimized by investing the factors, including the type of surfactant, methods of adding TPGS, content of TPGS and the molar ratio of span40/cholesterol, which may affecting the particle size, encapsulation efficiency and instantaneous release of drug in the formulation. Then, the morphology, particle size, Zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency and in vitro release of the formulation were evaluated. The result showed that hydrated nanoparticles of DTX-TPGS-PNs were (93 ± 6.5) nm in size,(-83.95 ± 3.69) mV in zeta potential, (97.31 ± 0.60)% in encapsulation efficiency, exhibiting spherical morphology and biphasic release process that a low burst effect within the first 0.5 hour and a relative-sustained release for the next several hours in PBS. These results indicate the oral delivery system of DTX-TPGS-PN was successfully built with good properties.

China Pharmacy 2005;0(22):-
OBJECTIVE:To determine vitamin E in muyan capsule.METHODS:The content of vitamin E in muyan capsule was determined by first-derivative spectrophotometry with detection wavelength at 230nm.RESULTS:The linear range of vitamin E was 14.98 ~ 24.96? g? mL-1(r=0.999 8).The average recovery of vitamin E was 100.1%(RSD=0.26%).CONCLUSION:The method is simple, rapid and accurate, and applicable for the determination of vitamin in muyan capsule.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(17):-
Objective To observe the long term effects of triancinolone acetonide(T-A)as a substitution for prednisone,a maintenance therapy in treating children with nephrotic syndrome(NS).Methods Twenty-five children with idiopathic NS(10 children with simple type NS and 15 children with nephritic type NS).Prednisone treatment for 4-8 weeks would bring remission, and immunosupression was added if remission failed. Then oral prednisone was reduced to 2 mg/kg per alternate day for 2 weeks, followed by a small dose of T-A(0.5-1.0 mg/kg)intramuscular injection, once a year per month for the first year, and every other month for the second year,as for the 8 frequently relapse cases,it would be every 3 months for the third year, other 17 cases stopped T-A intramuscular injection in the third year. Two weeks after T-A treatment stopped using prednisone. The relapse and the side-effects was observed through the observation of 25 NS children's clinical manifestation, routine urine test, and biochemistry variation before and during the T-A treatment, along with a 6 to 10 years follow-up survey after T-A therapy stopped.Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS 10.0 software. Results 1.Median dose of T-A was 0.97 mg/kg per time, total doses of T-A was 18.1 mg/kg(13.5-24.4 mg/kg).2.There were 16 relapse cases by prednisone treatment, while 7 relapse cases by T-A treatment for 2 years, there existed a significant comparison(P0.05).4.There were only 4 relapsed cases in the 6-10 years of follow-up observation, the difference was sharp compared with the 16 relapsed cases before T-A treatment(P

Microbiology 2008;0(12):-
Lysins are efficient bacteria cell wall digesting enzymes encoded by DNA bacteriophage. Gram-positive bacteriophage lysins feature similar domain structure, high lytic efficiency, synergic antibacterial effect with antibiotics, rare neutralization by antibodies, less chance of developing drug-resistant strains, et al. The past decade has seen a considerable amount of research worldwidely focused on lysin, and lysins have been used successfully in a variety of animal models to control pathogenic antibiotic resistant bacteria found on mucosal surfaces and infected tissues. The great potential of lysins as an anti-infective agent prompted this review.

[Objective] To compare the effect and safety between Tripterygium Wilfordii Film (TNF) and Compound Tripterygium Wilfordii Film (CTWF) for osteoarthritis of knees. The latter was mainly composed of Radix Folium seu Flos Tripterygii Wilfordii, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Olibanum, Myrrha, etc. [Methods] Sixty cases of osteoarthritis of knees were randomized to two groups: group A (30 cases) treated with CTWF and group B (30 cases) with TWF. Both of the two groups were given oral use of herbal medicine on the basis of syndrome differentiation. Pain and stiffness of the knees and knee function were observed before and after treatment and their side reactions were also observed. [Results] Pain and stiffness of the knees and the impaired function were relieved in both groups ( P

Objective To investigate the metabolite features of chronic pancreatitis in rats in vitro by high resolution magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Methods A total of 30 Spraque-Dawley rats were randomized into experimental group (n =20) and control group (n = 10). All the animals in experimental group were intravenously injected with 8 mg/kg body weight DBTC, and the animals in the control group received same amount of solvent. Pancreatic tissues were examined by histology and Van Gieson staining. Metabolic changes of chronic pancreatitis in vitro in rats were studied by high resolution magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Results 60 days after DBTC application, the pancreatic tissue was characterized by an extended interstitial fibrosis with infiltrating mononuclear cells. Compared with the control group, the signal intensities of phosphocholine (Pc) and glycerophosphocholine (Gpc), taurine (Tau), lactate (Lac) of chronic pancreatitis group increased. Oppositely, the signal intensities of betine (Bet), glutamic acid ( Glu ), alanine (Ala), ileucine (He), leucine ( Leu ) and valine (Val) decreased. The signal intensities of acetic acid (Ace) and choline (Cho) were not changed. Conclusions There were obvious metabolic features of chronic pancreatitis in rats, and it is helpful for the application of magnetic resonance spectroscopy in chronic pancreatitis in human studies.
