OBJECTIVE: To provide references for the improvement of categorized management of drugs in China. METHODS: The problems in China's categorized management of drugs were analyzed by drawing a comparison between China and USA in the categorized management of drugs. RESULT & CONCLUSION: China should draw on useful experiences from the developed countries to improve the categorized management of drugs from multi-aspects.

Objective To study the effects of atorvastatin on expression of lysyl oxidase(LOX) in myocardial tissue of rats with diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) and its mechanism.Methods Thirty DCM SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:DCM group,treatment group (atorvastain 2 mg · kg-1 · d-1 by gastric gavage) and β-aminopropionitrile group(β-aminopropionitrile 80 mg · kg-1 · d-1 by gastric gavage),10 cases in each group.Other 10 SD rats were selected as the control group.At the end of week 8,the rats were killed for extracting the myocardial tissue RNA and protein.Expression levels of LOX,MMP-2 and NF-κB mRNAs and proteins in myocardial tissue of DCM rats were measured by RT-PCR and Western blot.Results The expression levels of LOX,MMP-2 and NF-κB mRNAs and proteins in the DCM group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P＜0.01),and compared with the DCM group,the expression of BAPN LOX,MMP-2 and NF-κB mRNA and proteins in the treatment group were significantly deceased (P＜0.01).Conclusion Atorvastatin can reverse the expression of LOX in myocardial tissue of DCM rat,and then may regulate the expression of MMP-2 and NF-κB.

Objective To study the effects of MT egg-milk powder on the contents of lead,zinc,iron and copper in brain and femur of lead poisoning rats. Methods 30 Wistar rats were divided into three groups(n=10): normal control group, lead poisoning group and lead poisoning rats treated with MT egg-milk powder group. After treated with 0.2% lead acetate daily for three weeks, the rats were fed with 500 g?L~ -1 MT egg-milk powder for three weeks. At the end of the experiment,samples of brain and femur were collected for trace elements detection by atomic absorption spectroscopy. Full-speed development of the primary health care centering on community health service is key to the ongoing health reform in China. Building a new management mechanism for these grass-root health centers is an innovative approach of such a reform as carried out in Zhejiang province.The authors described the present management mechanism in the province, and focused on the specific measures and main outcomes of the nine Group-scale model as used by a district health bureau in Hanzhou since end of 2007.
