Objective To study the biomechanics of posterior lumbar interbody fusion with unilateral fixation. Methods 15 bovine lumbers were divided into three groups(intact group, spondylolisthesis group, posterior lumbar interbody fusion with unilateral fixation group as experimental group).Nondestructive tests were performed in pure compression, flexion, extension, and lateral bending on every group. Results Compared with intact group and spondylolisthesis group, after posterior lumbar interbody fusion with unilateral fixation, the mean straining of vertebral body in experimental group increased. The value of experimental group had significant difference from spondylolisthesis group(P < 0.01,P <0.05).And the value of experimental group was proximal to intact group (P > 0.05).Conclusion After operation with posterior lumbar interbody fusion with unilateral fixation, the stiffness of vertebral body was approached the intact group during axis compression, flexion, extension and lateral bending. And the initial stability was enough after operation.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(13):-
Pulmonary hypertension(PH) is a clinical hemodynamic syndrome characterized by elevation of pulmonary artery pressure and pulmonary vascular resistance, which was presumed mainly due to pulmonary vasoconstriction, remodeling of the pulmonary vessel wall, and thrombosis in situ.Endothelin, nitric oxide, and prostacyclin pathway were three major pathways involved in the pathogenesis.Current therapies interfered with these 3 pathways in combination with conventional measures have prolonged length of life of patients and improved their quality of life significantly.

BACKGROUND: Autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from autologous whole blood. The activated platelets can release a large number of high concentrations of growth factors and bioactive substances, which provides a theoretical basis for its application in various disciplines and fields. At the same time, autologous PRP has been popularized because it will not cause immune rejection with extensive sources, easy to extract and low cost.OBJECTIVE: To summarize the preparation method and performance of autologous PRP, and to explore its latest research results and underlying mechanisms in spinal surgeries.METHODS: A computer-based online retrieval of CNKI and PubMed databases was performed for articles concerning autologous PRP used in spinal surgeries. Finally, 42 eligible literatures were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Autologous PRP is rich in a variety of growth factors and bioactive substances, so it has been used in the fields of disc repair, bone conduction and osteoinduction, and its effectiveness has been confirmed through abundant basic and clinical trials. (2) Meanwhile, autologous PRP also is used for tissue repair and skin regeneration, such as spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid leakage and pressure ulcer. (3) Notably, autologous PRP has shown a promising prospect in the field of spinal surgeries.
