1.High intensity focused ultrasound for cancer treatment
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(8):584-587
This article introduces the mechanisms and clinical implications of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for the treatment of malignant tumor, and discusses the efficacy, limitations, and prospects of this technology. Dispite the recent advances, the clinical application of HIFU is still limited. Multiple trials are currently underway worldwide to determine its efficacy.

China Journal of Endoscopy 2017;23(2):21-25
Objective To observe and analyze curative efficacy of Desloratadine Citrate Disodium in combination with endoscopic sinus surgery and its effects on serum TIgE, ECP and inlfammatory factors in patients with chronic sinusitis. Methods 90 patients with chronic sinusitis who received therapy in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were collected as research objects to be randomly divided into the control group and the observation group equally. The control group was given endoscopic sinus surgery, and the observation group was given Desloratadine Citrate Disodium in combination with endoscopic sinus surgery. Then, visual analogue scale (VAS) was applied to assess the severity of subjective symptoms of the disease. Three months after the surgery, the curative efifcacy, scores of visual analogue scale (VAS) relfecting clinical symptoms, levels of serum TIgE, ECP and inlfammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results All patients undergone successful surgery. The observation group had a total therapeutic efifciency ratio of 95.6%, which was signiifcantly higher than that of 82.2% in the control group (P < 0.05). In comparison with the control group, the observation group had lower VAS scores of nasal discharge, nasal obstruction, cheek pain, headache, hyposmia [(1.84 ± 0.89) vs (3.12 ± 1.03) points, (1.87 ± 0.81) vs (2.55 ± 1.14) points, (1.24 ± 0.86) vs (1.88 ± 0.79) points, (1.15 ± 0.54) vs (1.97 ± 0.83) points, (1.84 ± 0.73) vs (2.18 ± 0.84) points], lower levels of serum TIgE, ECP [(58.62 ± 7.36) vs (64.39 ± 7.18) kU/L, (4.25 ± 0.84) vs (5.01 ± 1.07) ng/L)] and inflammatory factors of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8 [(1.27 ± 0.46) vs (2.62 ± 0.53) ng/ml, (5.13 ± 1.24) vs (9.54 ± 2.23) pg/ml, (282.63 ± 32.42) vs (315.84 ± 35.89) ng/L)] with statistical differences (allP < 0.05).Conclusion Desloratadine Citrate Disodium in combination with endoscopic sinus surgery is effective for chronic sinusitis, which can signiifcantly relieve clinical symptoms, reduce levels of serum TIgE, ECP and alleviate inlfammatory reaction.

Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2017;44(6):487-490,499
Hyperuricemia(HUA),which can induce oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, and inflammation,is closely relevant to the metabolic syndrome(MS),such as obesity, impaired fasting blood glucose,hyper-triglyceridemia,and hypertension. Moreover,HUA is of reciprocal causation with insulin resistance(IR). Here, for the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases such as HUA and MS,the interaction and the regulatory mechanism between MS and HUA are summarized, and the situation that HUA is an important complication of MS is illustrated.

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(02):-
Objective To determine the effect and feasibility of kissing dilating with cutting balloon and conventional balloon for bifurcated lesions Methods We divided 34 patients with true bifurcated stenosis into cutting ballon group (13 patients) and stenting group (21 patients) Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) was performed before and immediately after the interventional procedure Several indexes including minimal lumen diameter, external vessel crossectional area, lumen crossectional area, plaque crossectional area, vessel/lumen diameter and %diameter stenosis were calculated, respectively Results In cutting balloon group, more common lesions were found in left anterior descending artery and first diagonal (43 5% vs 28 9%, P

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To determine the lesion characteristics and effect of intervention on diseased grafts in older patients. Methods Thirty-eight patients with angina after coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG) were enrolled into Nanjing First Hospital. Interventions were performed after multiple-view angiogram and formal consent from relatives received. Angiographic follow-up was conducted within 6 months. Cardiac events were recorded during the 6-month clinical follow-up. Results Of the 38 patients (36 males and 2 females), the average age was 63.2 years. Angina occurred 11.5 months after CABG. Angipgrams were performed 4.8 years after CABG. Diabetes was complicated in 10 cases and old myocardial infarction in 8, respectively. Left ventricular ejection fraction was increased from 52%?10% to 58%?14% (P

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the ability of myocardial fractional flow resever (FFRmyo) in predicting the incidence of major cardiac events (death, myocardial infarction, revascularization and recurrance of angina) 3 months after stent inplantation and also try to find out the cutoff point. Methods Coronary pressure was measured in 79 patients with stable angina immediately after stent implantation. The values of poststenting FFRmyo was calculated and found to be related to the presence of major adverse cardiac events during first 3 months. Results In 14 patients (18.4%), at least one adverse event occurred. Two out of 12 patients experienced recurrance of angina and underwent revascularization. By Logistic Regress analysis, FFRmyo immediately after stenting was the most significant independent variable for predicting major cardiac events. By receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) analysis, the cutoff point of FFRmyo was 0.92. Conclusion FFRmyo immediately after stenting is an independent predictor of clinical events at first 3 months.
