PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of death preparing education on death anxiety and meaning of life for volunteers. METHODS: Data collection and intervention were carried out from January 11 to 25, 2009. The subjects included 60 volunteers in Jeonju city, and they were divided into two groups; 30 each of experimental group and control group. Death preparing education program contained 5 steps. Data were analyzed with t-test, chi-square-test, and ANCOVA test with SPSS version 12.0. RESULTS: The death anxiety scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than in the control group (F=4.01, P=0.046). The meaning of life scores in the experimental group were significantly higher than in the control group (F=6.32, P=0.015). CONCLUSION: The death preparing education program for volunteers was confirmed to be an effective intervention to lessen death anxiety and to improve the meaning of life. Therefore, I strongly recommend that this program should generously be applied to volunteers.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to investigate the job stress level of call center workers and figure out its relation with cognitive emotion regulation strategies as a cognitive coping strategy. METHODS: Data collection was conducted on 985 call center workers, working for K companies in Korea. ANOVA, t-test, Scheffe's test and multiple regression have been conducted for the data analysis using SAS 9.0 software. RESULTS: The total job stress score of subjects ranges Q25~49 (the lower 50%) whereas the score of job demand and job control ranges Q50~74 (the upper 50%), and its sectional job stress level is high. Since job stress is the major factor affecting cognitive emotion regulation strategies, it is shown that when the job stress score gets higher, the score of positive cognitive emotion regulation strategies gets decreased but the score of negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies, increased. CONCLUSION: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop and apply an effective stress easing method for call center workers which reduces negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies and increases positive ones.

OBJECTIVES: The purposes of this study were to identify the difference between consumer vocabulary and medical vocabulary in terms of health information; to understand the features of consumer vocabulary; and to contribute by building a system that is able to link consumer vocabulary with medical vocabulary. METHODS: Data collection was conducted using articles in the knowledge corner of a portal web-site. A total of 43,304 health-related terms (total terms extracted) were collected as objects of this study and these terms were analyzed for their mapping rate and frequency of use (the repeated number of a term). RESULTS: The rate of mapping between the consumer vocabulary for health information and the medical vocabulary was not high. However, the number of "unmapped terms" was decreased by linking terms having similar forms to "preferred terms" and by extending synonyms. CONCLUSION: Linking with preferred terms and extending synonyms are, thus, required to increase the mapping rate between consumer vocabulary for health information and medical vocabulary, and the terms that consumers use are essential to further be researched in order to understand their morphology and features; hence, increasing consumer accessibility to the medical field.

The analysis of 1999-2000 year period related documents and reports from various ministries,governmental bodies and sectors, diverse regions and sites,as well as from the leaders of functional bodies and agencies responsible to food safety and hygiene inspection, and from the food fabricators and traders had showed that in the year 1999, in 53/61 provinces and cities, there were a considerable number of intoxicated events, almost at home meals and at the meals of large number of consumers. Because of the lacking of qualified personal staff, of proper equipment, there were many difficulties in management of food safety and hygiene. Intersectorial coordination was established in this field, but there were not a clear assignment and an appropriate equipment. Retrospective study on the food poisoning during 5 years (1997-2001) in Yen Bai province showed that: the morbility rate was 0.06%. The highest rate was in Van Yen distric (26%). The adults affected by the food poisoning was higher than children. The mortality rate of food poisoning during 5 years was 5.3%. The cause of microorganism was 41%; pesticide 30%; poisonous food as mushroom, toad egg 22.6%; wild vegetables and fruids 2%; unknown causes 4.2%. Food poisoning occoured in family meals were 58%, in crowed meals 24%. Food poisoning happened throughout the year, the highest found during April, May, June and July. The statistics was insufficient.

The results of the oral health survey conducted in Quang Ngai province in 1999- DMF is very high among children and adults + 4.82 for children + 8.32 for adults- The rate of gingivitis is very high+ 91.61% for adults + 78.68% for children The rate of missing is very high for adults: 68.60%. The majority of the population does not have access to dental care.

2,688 children and 3,128 adults were random selected for an investigation including ages of 6-8; 9-11; 12-14; 15-17; 18-34; 35-45; and over. The results have shown that 90% participants suffering the dentostomatic diseases such as teeth decay, gingivitis and periodontitis. The hemifacial giant congenital nevus is a rare lesion but it always places a substantial challenge in the hand of the plastic surgeon. Surgical early management of these lesions is recommended and established by the use of tissue expansion and combined full-thickness skin grafting. Although the use of serial tissue expansion for the burn scars and the giant pigmented nevi of the trunk was recently presented, but this technique has not been reported for the reconstruction of the hemifacial congenital nevus in the literature. This case illustrates a successful surgical management of a serial tissue expansion and full-thickness skin grafting for hemifacial congenital nevus.

Firstly, the Hue Central Hospital implemented successfully the renal transplantation. First round comprised a male patient with ages of 27 received kidney from his mother and a female patient with ages of 17 received kidney from her sister. Second round comprised a female patient with ages of 37 received kidney from her son and a male patient received kidney from his brother. There was no significant complication. The donors' and receivers' health were well.

The survey carried out on 601 inpatients in some Hanoi Hospitals. The results as followed: among these patients, 90.4% were referred to inpatient department at the first time by health staff, nearly 100% had enough clothes and bedding that were provided by hospital, only 0.8% did not have daily health examination at the first time, the percentage of careful examination increased from 84.1% to 90.9%. The rate of patients who were referred to medical laboratory, radiology department and specialists by health staff increased from 85.3% to 92.3%. There was a small percentage of health staff with angry attitude (2.8%), indifferent attitude (3.2%), unhelpful attitude (1.2%)
