1.Surgical treatment of colorectal cancer liver metastasis
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(17):845-849
Surgical resection is currently the only cure treatment for colorectal carcinoma liver metastasis (CRLM). The efficien-cy of surgical resection has improved with the development of systemic chemotherapy and targeted drugs and the application of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy in recent years. The number of patients benefiting from surgery has gradually increased. The progression of surgical techniques such as radiofrequency ablation and staged hepatectomy provides chances of cure for patients with CRLM. Multi-disciplinary team creates the opportunity of individual diagnosis and treatment for growing number of patients with CRLM, which, in turn, promotes the treatment of CRLM to a more precise future.

Objective To study the changes of the urinary ?-1 microglobulin and urinary immunoglobulin G(IgG) and to investigate the relationship between these two proteins and the allograft function after renal transplantation. Methods Twenty-nine renal transplant recipients were included in the study.Urinary ?-1 microglobulin and urinary IgG were analyzed at d 1,7,14,21,28 after renal transplantation. The allograft function was evaluated based on the clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging examinations, and the relationship between urinary ?-1 microglobulin,IgG and serum cretinine(SCr) were analysed. Results Urinary ?-1 microglobulin and urinary IgG correlated with SCr after renal transplantation in one month.Of all the 29 cases,14 experienced allograft function recovery(group A),and 15 failed(group B).Urinary ?-1 microglobulin decreased significantly in group A(P

5. Study on triterpenes from roots of Actinidia deliciosa
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(8):935-937
Objective: To investigate the chemical constituents from the roots of Actinidia deliciosa. Methods: With 95% ethanol as the extraction solvent, various chromatography techniques were used to separate and purify the constituents and the structures were identified based on spectroscopic data. Results: Three compounds were isolated from the roots of A. deliciosa and identified as lupa-12, 20(30)-diene-2β, 3β, 28-triol (1), 2α, 3β, 19α, 24-tetrahydroxy-12-en-28-ursolic acid (2), and 2α, 3β, 23, 27-tetrahydroxy-12- en-28-ursolic acid (3). Conclusion: Compound 1 is a new triterpenoid named actinidin A.

Objective To assess the usefulness of a computer-aided detection(CAD)system on detecting the pulmonary nodules in digital chest radiography. Methods Three hundred and twenty-eight digital chest radiographies along with corresponding chest computed tomography were selected for this study. Two senior chest radiologists interpreted these cases using the CAD system and marked the locations and sizes of all nodules with consensus, which were stored in a computer system as Gold Standard to evaluate the performance of the CAD system.Eight radiologists of various experience read these selected cases without and with the aid of CAD system and their results were stored in a computer system. The radiologists' performance was evaluated by using the receiver operating characteristic analysis.Comparison is made regarding the difference in Az values when CAD was not used versus when CAD was used by using the paired-samples t test. Results For small nodules, the sensitivity of this computer system used by the two senior chest radiologists in 100 digital radiographs was 78.1%(118.0/151).Without and with the assistance of CAD system, the nodule detection sensitivity of the radiology residents was 62.4% (94.2/151),77.4%(116.8/151)respectively,and the area under the curve of radiology residents was 0.769,0.836 respectively.Statistical analysis showed there was statistically significant difference between interpretation without and with the CAD system(P0.05).Conclusions This CAD system can help to enhance the radiologists' ability to detect small pulmonary nodules. This is especially helpful for radiology residents.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(07):-
Objective To investigate whether Shenfu(SF) injection has protective effect on circulation function in infants undergoing cardio-pulmonary bypass. Methods Thirty-six patients within 3 years old with congenital heart disease were randomly divided into SF injection group(n=18) and control group(n=18).The SF group were treated with 1 mL/kg SF intravenous injection after inducing of anesthesia, the control group were infused with 1 mL/kg saline intravenously. The changes of hemodynamics during surgery, time needed for sinus rhythm emerging on electrocardiogram(ECG) after arteriae aotra patency dose of vaso-active drugs intra-and postoperatively and recovery time during postoperative period were observed. Results In SF group, mean artery pressure(MAP) was higher and heart rate(HR),central venous pressure(CVP) lower than control group(P
