Organ transplanting in our country began in the 1970s,which has already made very great development and progress. But with many problems arising,this has brought certain difficulty to the further development of the organ transplanting. This article has analyzed the questions appearing in organ transplanting of our country and proposed the related countermeasures.

[Objective]To evaluate the operability and clinical efficacy of injectable calcium sulfate for grafting bone defects.[Method]From June 2004 to August 2005,22 cases with benign bone lesions were treated with curettage and grafting with injectable calcium sulfate bone graft substitute(minimally invasive injectable graft X3,MIIG X3).There were 13 male cases and 9 femal cases.Their average age was 34.6(ranged,4~55).All the 22 cases were followed-up from 23 months to 37 months,average 31.6 months.All cases took radiographic examination regularly after the operation to assess the absorption rate of MIIGX3 and the formation rate of new bone.[Result]This injectable calcium sulfate with vacuum mixing was easy to use,providing complete fill and bony strength instantly when grafting bone defects.According to the raeiographs,MIIGX3 was absorbed almost at the same rate as new bone ingrowth in 8 to 24 weeks.[Conclusion]MIIGX3 is convenient to graft bone defects with fewer complications,capable of absorbing almost at the same rate as replacement of new bone.It's one of the best bone graft substitutes for grafting bone defects induced by benign bone lesions.

AIM: To know the psychological conditions of various cataract patients in pre- and post-operative periods.METHODS: From June 2008 to June 2009, 278 cataract patients had been asked to complete a questionnaire anonymously of their self-evaluation of symptoms scale (SCL) before and after operation. In their pre-operative and post-operative surveys, the results were compared with the norms respectively. Patients were divided into two groups. Group A were age-related cataract patients; while Group B were cataract patients with glaucoma, trauma or metabolic disease.RESULTS: When cataract patients' masculine scores of somatization, depression, anxiety and fear factors before and after the operation rank higher than the norms, the differences had statistical significance(P＜0.05), especially the somatization factor(P＜0.01).While cataract patients with diseases such as glaucoma, trauma or diabetes got higher marks than age-related cataract patients in the aspects of anxiety, somatization, depression (P<0.05), and fear factors, the differences were of statistical significance(P<0.01).CONCLUSION: Cataract patients both in pre- and post- and operative periods have somatization behaviors and emotions of depression, anxiety and fear. Cataract patients with glaucoma, trauma or diabetes especially anxiety have more obvious symptoms than age-related cataract patients.

Objective To evaluate the hemodynamics change of brain before and after vertebrobasilar angioplasty and stenting in the patients with intracal stenosis.Methods All the indexes were compared among thirty-eight patients with intracal arterial stenosis,including mean peak flow velocity,systolic peak flow velocity,and resistance index of hemodynamics ; Cerebral blood volume ( CBV),cerebral blood flow (CBF)and middle time to peak(MTT) before and after the operation.Results After vertebro-basilar angioplasty and stenting in the 38 patients,the Vs of PCA were significantly lower in the affected side [ (226 ±27)cm/s vs (135 ± 18)cm/s; t =21.74,P ＜0.01 ].Significant difference was found between pro-and post stenting of rMTT and rCBF in the blood territories of stenotic cerebrovascular ( t =3.987,P =0.001 )and( t =-2.027,P =0.029),There was no significant difference between pro-and post stenting of rCBV in the blood territories of stenotic cerebrovascular ( t =-0.901,P =0.329).Conclusions Transcranial Doppler and CT perfusion can be used to evaluate hemodynamic changes before and after pereutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stenting.

BACKGROUND: It is always the key issue of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) to treat articular gall. A kind of medicine with favorable therapeutic effects and safety is urgently needed in the clinics. 99Tc-methylene diphosphonate 99(Tc-MDP) receives generalized attentions on its therapeutic effects and safety since its application into RA therapy.OBJECTIVE: To explore the characters of 99Tc-MDP in the amelioration of articular dysfunction in RA patients.DESIGN: A before-and-after controlled study by employing patients as subjects.SETTING: Department of rheumatism and immunology of an affiliated hospital of a university.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 67 patients with RA at active phase including 11males and 56 females aged between 29 and 71 years old with the course of disease between 9 and 78 months and admitted by the Department of Rheumatism of Huaxi Hospital Affiliated to Sichuan University were in accordance with the RA diagnostic criteria established by American Rheumatism Association(ARA) in 1987. Serious heart,liver or kidney dysfunction,active gastrointestinal pathological changes, hematology and endocrinology diseases,allergic complexion,and women during pregnancy or breast-feeding period were eliminated.METHODS: Clinical indicators including articular edema index, articular pain,grip,morning stiffness duration,rest pain,erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C reactive protein(CRP) were compared before and after therapy in 67 cases received 99Tc-MDP treatment. Integrated evaluation was performed after the completion of therapy. Effective meant 30% of improvement in symptoms and physical signs,and reduction in ESR and CRP. Side effects were observed and recorded simultaneously. Data were statistically analyzed.RESULTS: After 99Tc-MDP treatment,RA condition significantly improved,as well as each clinical indicator including articular edema index,articular pain index,morning stiffness duration,rest pain,ESR and CRP(P<0.05) . The total clinical effective rate of this medicine was 81% and the incidence of side effects was small and mild.CONCLUSION: 99Tc-MDP can ameliorate the articular dysfunction of RApatients,which is a safe medicine with strong effect.

Objective To explore the role of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS) in the regulatory effects of erythropoie‐tin (EPO) on mitochondiral biogenesis in cardiomyocytes exposed to chronic hypoxia .Methods H9c2 cardiomyocytes were cultured in the environment of hypoxia for 1 week(94% N2 ,5% O2 ) ,establishing the chronic hypoxic cardiomyocyte model .All the cells were divided into 3 groups :HC(chronic hypoxic control) ,HE[treated with chronic hypoxia and 20 U/mL recombinant human EPO (rhEPO) ]and HR(cells transfected with eNOS shRNA plasmid and treated with 20 U/mL rhEPO and chronic hypoxia) .Fluores‐cent probe was used to detect the changes of mitochondial number .Mitochondial DNA (mtDNA) relative express level was assayed by RT‐PCR .The expression and phosphorylation of eNOS protein were analyzed with Western blot .Results rhEPO significantly increased the phosphorylation of eNOS and elavated the mitochondialt number and mtDNA (P< 0 .05) .shRNA interference on eNOS significantly blocked all the above changes induced by rhEPO (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Phosphory lation of eNOS is the im‐portant signalling pathway for the enhanced mitochondrial biogenesis in cardiomyocytes exposed to chronic hypoxia by EPO .
