Objective To compare diagnostic performance of ultrasound and radionuclide imaging in diagnosis of Meckel's diverticulum. Methods Totally 46 children suspected with Meckel's diverticulum were enrolled.Ultrasound, radionuclide imaging data were analyzed and compared with pathology. Results In 46 children suspected with Meckel's diverticulum,38 cases were confirmed by operation.Thirty-three cases of 38 were diagnosed Meckel's diverticulum by ultrasound,5 cases of 38 were false negative, there was no false positive case.Radionuclide imaging was positive in 24 cases of 46,false positive in 4 eases and false negative in 18 cases. The ultrasound diagnostic accuracy rate was 89.13% (41/46),sensitivity was 86.84% (33/38),specificity was 100% (8/8).Diagnostic accuracy rate of radionuclide imaging was 52.17% (24/46),sensitivity was 52.63 % (20/38) and specificity was 50.00 % (4/8).The sensitivity of ultrasound and radionuclide imaging in diagnosis of Meckel's diverticulum had significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion Ultrasound in diagnosis of Meckel's diverticulum has advantages of non-invasive,no radiation, acceptable price and high sensitivity.

Purpose:To study the expression of CD44v6 protein in breast carcinoma and its prognostic significance. Methods:100 cases of formalin-fixed paraffin-embeded female breast invasive ductal carcinoma tissues were retrospectively analyzed using EnVision~(TM) immunohistochemical method with the monoclonal antibody CD44v6.Statistical analysis was based on the Log-rank test and Cox analysis.Results:Sixty-six of 100 cancer tissues expressed CD44v6.Positive staining was mainly on the cell membranes. There was significant correlation between CD44v6 immunoreactivity and lymph node me- tastasis and TNM stage. The 5-and 10-year survival rates were 82.76% and 78.37% of patients with CD44v6 low-expres- sion tumors, and 64.1% and 49.88% of those with CD44v6 high-expression tumors, respectively;the difference between the two groups of patients was significant(P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(15):-
Objective To investigate the expression of Fas/FasL in children with aplastic anemia(AA) and its clinical significance. To explore the pathogenesis of AA.Methods CD34+ cell counts and the expression of Fas/FasL in 12 children with severe AA(SAA),18 with chronic AA(CAA)and 10 normal children were detected by flow cytometry combining monocolon antibody. Results The expression of Fas in children with AA were significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusions Fas/FasL systeam take part in inducing CD34+ cell apoptosis. This may contribute to understanding the decrease number of stem cells and bone marrow failure.

ObjectiveTo investigate the corelation between fibrinogen in pleural effusion and pleural adhesion in tuberculosis exudative pleurisy.Methods234 cases of primary tuberculosis pleurisy were divided into 3 groups (A、B、C) according to their level of fibrinogen in pleural effusion from low to high. The incidence rates of pleural adhesion were assessed during the course of treatment and after treatment.ResultsThe incidence rate of pleural adhesion in the course of treatment were as those: group A 10.5%, group B 32.3%, group C 54.5%. After treatment, it was as those: group A 10.5%, group B 16.9%, group C 42.4%. Whenever, there was significant difference between group C and group A or B (P<0.05).ConclusionThe level of fibrinogen in pleural effusion may be associated with pleural adhesion, which hinder the recovery of patients.

Objective To investigate the influence of the post stroke depression (PSD) on cognitive function in patients with stroke and their correlation, and to evaluate the diagnosis value of P300 cognitive function in patients with PSD. Methods One hundred and seventeen cases of inpatient with acute stroke in neurology medicine were continuously observed and scored using HAMD rating scale at the onset of 2 weeks. And 53 cases of PSD and 64 cases of non-post-stroke depression (NPSD) were scored using MMSE score and P300 determination respectively, and the results were compared. Results The incidence of PSD was 45.29%(53/117) at the 2 weeks after stroke, including 35 cases (29.91%) of mild depression,11 cases (9.40%) of medium degree depression and 7 cases (5.98%) of major depression. Compared with NPSD group, the P300 latency period of PSD group was significantly prolonged ( < 0.01), and the amplitude significantly reduced ( < 0.01) . The MMSE score difference was statistically significant ( <0.05) in the two groups. Conclusion The PSD is given priority to with mild-to-moderate depression, and the cognitive function damage in patients with PSD is more obvious than that in NPSD group. P300 determination can be used as the evaluation indicator of diagnosis cognitive function in patients with PSD.

OBJECTIVETo observe the impacts of the acupoint catgut implantation on postpartum pain of uterine contraction with qi and blood deficiency.
METHODSOne hundred and ten primiparas of natural delivery differentiated as qi and blood deficiency pattern in TCM were selected as the subjects. They were randomized into an acupoint catgut implantation group (55 cases) and a routine nursing group (55 cases). In the acupoint catgut implantation group, the catgut was implanted in Zigong (EX-CA 1), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Pishu (BL 20) and Geshu (BL 17) in 6 h after delivery; additionally, the routine post-delivery nursing was adopted. In the routine nursing group, the routine post-delivery nursing was applied simply. Visual analogue scale (VAS) and the pain relief time of uterine contraction were compared in 24 h, 48 h, 72 h and 96 h after acupoint catgut implantation between the two groups.
RESULTSVAS Scores in 24 h, 48 h, 72 h and 96 h after acupoint catgut implantation in the acupoint catgut implantation group were lower apparently than those in the routine nursing group (3.31 +/- 0.39 vs 4.31 +/- 0.29, 1.86 +/- 0.29 vs 2.66 +/- 0.25, 0.89 +/- 0.21 vs 1.59 +/- 0.24, 0.35 +/- 0.10 vs 0.69 +/- 0.13, all P < 0.05). The pain relief was achieved in (72.06 +/- 6.83) h in the acupoint catgut implantation group and was (123.42 +/- 11.12) h in the routine nursing group. The pain relief in the acupoint catgut implantation group was achieved more quickly (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe intervention of acupoint catgut implantation in 6 h after natural delivery in primiparas prevents effectively postpartum pain of uterine contraction.
