Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(10):1220-1221,1222
[Objective] To analyze the experience and methods of removal the non-metal ic foreign bodies in the superficial tissue under the location of ul-trasonic and the guidance of acupuncture needle. [Method] First find the non-metal ic foreign bodies and observe the trauma around them by ultrasonic scanning, then use needle to puncture and approach the foreign bodies gradual y for location. Remove the foreign bodies according to the guidance of nee-dle in the end. [Result]Total foreign bodies could be removed easily without any remains in these cases, and trauma recovered wel . 33 cases were removed out smoothly the non-metal ic foreign bodies for just one time, and 1 case for two times. [Conclusion] Removal of the superficial non-metal ic foreign bodies under the location of ultrasonic and the guidance of needle is a great method of security, operating simply, being worthy of popularization through comparing with other methods.

Objective To observe the influence of trastuzumab on DNA break repair and Her-2 nuclear import after radiation in breast cancer cell line SKBR3,and discuss the radiosensitivity mechanism of trastuzumab. Methods Clone formation assay was used to analyze the difference of survival fractions between radiation group and radiation plus trastuzumab group.Confocal microscopy was applied to observe the influence of trastuzumab in the nuclear import process of Her-2 and the expression of γH2AX after radiation, which is considered as the marker of DNA double strand break.Western blotting was used to detect the expression of Her-2 and DNA-PKcs in nuclei after radiation. Results The result of clone formation assayshowed that the SF2 in radiation group was 0.547±0.046 and 0.321±0.022 in the radiation plus trastuzumab group were significantly decreased, the results of confocal microscopy showed that trastuzumab postponed the nuclear import process of Her-2 (52.80±19.74 in radiation group,21.41±10.55 in the radiation group),and increased expression of γH2AX after radiation (85.40±25.63 in radiation group,18.53±44.32 in the radiation group),and western blotting revealed trastuzumab reduced the expression of Her-2,DNA-PKcs in nuclei. Conclusion Trastuzumab can inhibit the radiation induced nuclear import of Her-2,and decrease Her-2,DNA-PKcs in nuclei to increase the DSB on early stage after radiation.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristic of acute pancreatitis with hyperlipemia. Methods 276 patients with acute pancreatitis were divided into two groups:hyperlipemia group and normal group under the diagnostic code. The etiological factor and clinical characteristic were compared between the two groups, also the scores of APACHEⅡ,Ranson and CT after control lipid were compared. Results The factor of food and drink and the rate of SAP in group HL compared with those in group normal were significantly different (P

OBJECTIVETo investigate the curative effect of penile elongation with four differentoperative approaches.
METHODSThrough four different operative approaches (the coronary sulcus ringincision, Y or Z shaped incision or Z shaped incision combined with coronary sulcus ring incision), thepenile skin and fascia were degloved until the penile root. Then the superficial and deep dorsal penilesuspensory ligament were cut off. After electric coagulation of the residue ends, the two-side tissue at thefront of the pubic symphysis was sutured. Then the penile skin and fascia were repositioned and the incisionat the inner and outer plate was closed.
RESULTSThe increased penile static length was (2.9 ± 0.2) cmwith abdominal wall Y incision (12 cases); (3.1 ± 0.3) cm with transabdominal modified Z incision (260 cases); (3.9 ± 0.7) cm with coronary sulcus ring incision (363 cases); (3.4 ± 0.8) cm with combined incision (39 cases). The lengthening effect was significantly different between the coronary ring incision and abdominal wall Y/Z incision (P < 0.05). The postoperative follow-up period was 6 months to 5.5 years without serious complications. Only 3 cases of subcutaneous hematoma occurred with treatment of debridement and drainage. 4 cases with ischemic necrosis at distal penile skin, were treated with debridement, dressing and physiotherapy, leaving no scar.
CONCLUSIONSPenile lengthening surgery are safe and effective through different approaches. The coronal ring incision has the best therapeutic effect.

To improve the quality standard of Angelica sinensis, solve the problem of lacking relevant reference substance, a new method-based on the standard reference extract (SRE) was applied to achieve the quality control of Angelica sinensis. SRE of Angelica sinensis was obtained by chromatographic separation technology. After calibration of three makers of the SRE, an UPLC analytical method was developed to determinate the contents of the makers. T-test was used for comparison of the determination results of two methods (reference substances and SRE as reference, respectively), and the results demonstrated that there is no significant difference between the two methods. The presented method is very convenient and practical, which can be used for the quality control of Angelica sinensis.

Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine 2003;37(4):263-265
OBJECTIVETo probe the effects of long-term oral administration of lanthanum nitrate [La(NO(3))(3)] on morphological change in the liver, aftereffect of deposited La in the liver and their mechanism in rats.
METHODSYoung Wistar rats were divided into two groups, one fed with 0.1, 0.2, 2.0, 10.0 and 20.0 mg/kg of La(NO(3))(3) for six months and the other for the control. Changes in ratio of liver to body weight were observed after exposure to La(NO(3))(3) at varied doses for six months and one month after six-month exposure, as well as morphology of the liver in the rats with routine histochemistry and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) technique. Content of La in the liver was measured with inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
RESULTSRatio of liver to body weight was significantly higher in the male rats exposed to 20.0 mg/kg of lanthanum for six months than that in the control group. Ratio of liver to body weight restored to normal in the rats exposed to 20.0 mg/kg of La one month after six-month exposure. Infiltration of inflammatory cells in the portal region of the liver, small amount of fat drops in hepatocytic cytoplasm, increased density of mitochondria stroma, lysosome containing highly-electronic-density bodies and dense granules, normal nucleus and slightly deformed nucleus of hepatocytes could be found in the rats exposed to 20.0 mg/kg. Areas of the liver deposited with glycogen after six-month exposure to 20.0 mg/kg of La accounted for (26.1 +/- 1.5)% and (4.1 +/- 1.4)%, respectively for male and female rats, significantly lower than those in the control group [(31.3 +/- 1.4)% and (39.4 +/- 0.9)%, respectively], with a statistical significance and very statistical significance, respectively. There was a little infiltration of inflammatory cells in the portal region of the liver one month after six-month exposure to 20.0 mg/kg of La, and amount of the dense bodies was lower in the rats exposed to La for six months. Liver contents of La in the rats of all experimental groups were lower one month after six-month exposure than those in the rats exposed for six months.
CONCLUSIONSExposure to a dose of 20.0 mg/kg La(NO(3))(3) for a long term could damage the liver structure to certain extent, but lanthanum deposited in the liver could be eliminated from the body gradually.
