Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2005;10(2):154-157
AIM: To investigate the efficacy and safety of liduofen in the treatment of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joint. METHODS: A randomized, double-blind, parallel-controlled, multi-centre study was adapted to compare the efficacy and safety between liduofen and Olfen-75 in 136 patients. Patients were randomly assigned into two groups: liduofen group which was received 75 mg (diclofenac) Liduofen injection (n=69) once a day for seven days and Olfen group which was received 75 mg (diclofenac) Olfen-75 injection (n=67) once a day for seven days. RESULTS: After the treatment, similar improvements for rest pain, pain on exercise, swelling of joint, pressing pain of joint, knee joint bend extend function measured using a 10 cm visual analogue scale was performed in two groups. In Olfen-75 group, the rate of efficacy was 62.69% in the 3rd day, 95.76% in the 5th day and 97.88% in the 7th day. While in liduofen group, the rate of efficacy was 57.97% in the 3rd day, 93.87% in the 5th day and 96.94% in the 7th day. In liduofen and Olfen-75 groups, the progressive rates were 56.72% and 55.07%, respectively. The total improvement rates were 89.85% and 92.54% respectively (P>0.05), and the rates of side effects were 0% and 1.49%, respectively (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Liduofen is an effective and safty drug inthe treatment of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joint. There is no significant difference on efficacy and safety between the two groups using liduofen and Olfen-75.
3.Effects of New Compound Traditional Chinese Medicine Prepatations Banxiao Capsule on the Mobilization of Endothelial Progenitor Cells
Journal of Medical Research 2015;(7):33-36
Objective To investigate the effects of new compound traditional Chinese medicine prepatations Banxiao capsule on the mobilization of endothelial progenitor cells ( EPCs) .Methods After EPCs from mouse bone marrow treated with variable dose of Banxiao capsule, we detected the proliferation by CCK-8 assay, quantified the number of CD34/Flk-1 double positive cells by flow cytometric analysis, evaluated the migratory function of EPCs by transwell chamber assay, and studied the protein level of Bcl-2/Bax by Western blot analysis. Results Compared with untreated group, the proliferation potential of EPCs in Banxiao low dose (20μg/ml) and high dose (200μg/ml) group was increased(P<0.05), the number of CD34/Flk-1 double positive cells were increased (P<0.05), migrative activity of EPCs was increased (P<0.05),the level of Bcl-2 protein were increased, and the level of Bax protein were decreased.Con-clusion Banxiao capsule can enhance proliferation of EPCs through up-regulating of expression of Bcl-2/Bax.

Objective To investigate the change of anxiety in patients undergoing coronary angiography. Methods The Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory was carried out in hundred and forty five patients, 104 men, 41 women, mean age (63?9) years, before and after the coronary angiography procedure respectively. Results The state anxiety score after the procedure was significantly decreased from 35.8?10.2 to 31.7?9.9(P

Medication is still the main means for treating liver cirrhosis. However, micro-circulation obstacle in the liver and dynamic abnormality of portal vein flow suggest that liver protecting drugs via peripheral veins can hardly give full requirement for their effect. The authors reviewed a new method of percutaneous transhepatic portal vein implantation of port-catheter system for infusion of drugs in the treatment of liver cirrhosis, with theoretical basis and the outlook of application.

OBJECTIVE To introduce experiences of cosmetologic reparation after malignant nasal cutaneous tumor resections.METHODS Cutaneous flap was chosen to reconstruct 37 cases of defects after nasal malignant tumor resection according to their area, shape and site,in which basal cell carcinoma were 25 cases, squamous cell carcinoma were 12 cases, respectively.Nasal cutaneous defects rangeed from 0.8 cm?0.8 cm to 5.0 cm?4.0 cm.The flap came from diamond flap 9 cases, from nasolabial island flap 15 cases, from subcutaneous pedicel flap 13 cases,by which to supply directly pulling saturation of flap area. RESULTS All cutaneous flaps of 31 cases survived with primary healing;nasal appearances were good and no malignant tumor recurred after 1-18 months follow up.CONCLUSION Employ local cutaneous flap with color and texture matched to cosmetologic reconstruction of defects after nasal malignant tumor resections are capable of reach satisfied clinical effect.

Objective:To investigate the relationship of the expression of VEGF-C and the metastasis of the lymphoid nodes in laryngeal cancer. Methods:Using immunohistochemistry method, the expression of VEGF-C in the tumor tissues and the density of lymphatic in adjacent tissue of laryngeal carcinoma were detected. Results:The expression of VEGF-C in laryngeal carcinoma was higher than in vocal cord polyp and in lymphoid node-positive was higher than in node-negative. Density of lymphatic capillary in adjacent tissue of laryngeal carcinoma was much higher than in normal laryngeal tissue and in lymphoid node-positive was higher than in node-negative.Conclusion:VEGF-C protein expression is close to lymphatic metastasis.

Objective:To investigate the changes of plasma free carnitine (FC) level in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hypertension and the influence of L-carnitine(L-CN) on plasma FC,blood glucose and blood viscosity. Methods:Plasma FC, blood glucose and blood viscosity were measured in 20 type 2 diabetic patients with hypertension (group 1) and 20 patients with essential hypertension (group 2) before and after they received 3. 0 g/d /,-CN intravenous infusion for ]0 d. Re-sultstlt was observed that plasma FC level was lower in group 1 [(50. 59?13. 41) ?mol/L] than in group 2 [(63. 32? 15. 23) ?mol/L,P

Objective:To investigate the effects of OX-LDL on the formation and progression of atherosclerosis. Methods: (1) The thoracic aorta smooth muscle cells(VSMC) of male Sprague-Dawley rat were primarily cultured in vitro. Different concentrations of OX-LDL(50,100,150,200 ?g/ml) were co-incubated with the cells respectively. MTT method was used to detect the cell proliferation after 24, 48 and 72 h. (2) pCOLH22. 4 and pCOLH2l. 6, recombinants of human a2( I ) procol-lagen gene 5' flank sequence ( - 2. 4 kb and -1. 6 kb in size) and CAT reporter gene, were used to transiently transfect smooth muscle cells with FuGENE Transfectant Reagent. The effect of OX-LDL (150 ?g/ml) on the plasmid were determined by CAT-EL1SA. Results: (1)OX-LDL accelerated the proliferation of VSMC in dose-dependent manner. (2)OX-LDL enhanced the promoter activities of human a2( I ) procollagen gene significantly. Conclusion: OX-LDL can accelerate the proliferation of VSMC and the formation of type I collagen, which facilitates the formation and progression of atherosclerosis.

Objective: To investigate the effects of hyaluronidase (HAase) and hyaluronan (HA) on proliferation of vascular endothelial cells and its mechanism. Methods: The cultured bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAEC) were treated with HAase or HA. Cell proliferation rate was detected by MTT assay. The expression of CD44 and DNA content of the cells were measured by flow cytometry (FCM). Results: HAase (50 ?g/ml) stimulated cell proliferation [(50.10? 1.23)% vs control, P
