Objective To examine the association between the polymorphisms of apolipoprotein E gene (APOE) and geriatric depression (GD),and then conduct an exploratory investigation to analyse whether the APOE polymorphisms would relate to the depressive syndrome severity, the cognitive function,or the level of serum lipid in patients. Methods Participants, including 120 GD patients and 120 normal controls were enrolled to detect the two single nucleotide polymorphisms of APOE,rs7412 and rs429358 using the technology of SNP site testing. The frequency differences of genotype and allele were compared between the two groups. Then the association between APOE polymorphisms and clinical or demographic data of patients were clarified. The relationship between clinical or demographic data, and the cognitive function of GD patients were investigated using the Logistic multiple regression analysis. Results The frequency of APOE genotype and allele showed no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Patients carrying e4 allen had significantly lower total scores of Man-Machine System Engineering((22.38±2.22) vs (25.28±2.28),t=3.091,P<0.01) and higher levels of TC (t=2.225,P< 0.05) and LDL(t=2.728,P<0.01) compared with those without ε4 allen. The specific symptoms of patients carrying e4 allen were cognitive impairment(load 0.902) and retardant factors(load 0.695),while patients without ε4 allen had characteristic symptoms of anxiety(load 0.990) and weight factors(load 0.864).Ranked by the effect power, the risk factors of cognitive impairment of GD patients are ε4(b'=1.097) and then TCTC (b'=0.401).Conclusions APOE may not modulate the susceptibility to GD.Patients carrying ε4 allen have severer cognitive impairment and higher levels of serum lipid. The different genotypes may lead to different clinical symptoms.

0.05 ). It is indicated that both eight extra-meridians acupuncture therapy and Jin Sanzhen therapy can improve intelligence index of VD, and the possible mechanism is related to the regulation of central nervous system function, elimination of SOD and reduction of NE and NO secretion.

Objective To investigate the imaging manifestations and pathogenesis of liver focal nodular hyperplasia-like(FNH-like)lesions in patients undergoing antineoplastic chemotherapy. Methods The clinical and imaging data of focal nodular hyperplasia(FNH)and FNH-like lesions patients confirmed by pathology after antineoplastic chemotherapy were analyzed retrospectively. Results A total of 67 FNH-like nodules were detected in 15 patients after antineoplastic chemotherapy, including multiple FNH nodules in 8 cases and sin-gle nodule in 7 cases. The mean detected time of FNH-like nodules was(18.9±11.7)months.Central scarring could be observed during follow-up in 5 nodules, and the rest showed atypical FNH features.Among 45 nodules examined with hepatocyte-specific con-trast medium,36 nodules showed slightly high signal in the hepatobiliary phase and other 9 nodules showed isosignal. Conclusion FNH-like lesions in patients during antineoplastic chemotherapy have certain imaging features, such as lack of central scarring,gener-ally smaller nodules, delayed enhancement, and hyperenhancement in hepatobiliary-specific phase, which are of significant value in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the disease.

Objective To analyze the physicochemical properties and photothermal properties after introducing a certain proportion of phaeophorbide into polyvinyl alcohol-lipoic acid polymer. Methods The "one-step" method was adopted to synthesize the PVA27K-4 %LA-10 % Pheide (PLP) polymer. The laser particle diameter tester was used to detect the particle size, polydispersity index and ζ potential of PLP nanoparticle (PLPN);the morphology was observed under transmission electron microscope (TEM);the in vitro fluorescent and photothermal properties were investigated by using spectrophotometric method and infrared thermal imager;the ovarian-cancer nude mice models were established and the preliminary in vivo experiment evaluation was performed. Results The synthetic PLP polymer could self-assembly form spherical PLPN in aqueous environment, which showed the tightly spherical structure under TEM.The average particle diameter, polydispersity index and ζ potential were (22.92 ± 9.00)nm,(0.117±0.056) and (-25.43±0.77)mV respectively. The fluorescence intensity of PLPN in PBS solution was significantly lower than that in SDS solution (P<0.05).However,the temperature of the PBS solution of PLPN was significantly higher than that of the SDS solution after exposure to the near infrared light (P<0.05).In the model of tumor-bearing nude mice,PLPN could targetaccumulated in the tumor site. The temperature in the tumor site was significantly increased after exposure to the near infrared light, which could kill tumor cells. Conclusion PLPN could emit red fluorescence, and could target-accumulated in tumor site and conduct the in vivo image, which has significant photothermal conversion properties in vivo and in vitro, and can effectively inhibit the tumor growth in vivo.
