Objective To observe the effect of combined treatment with rhTRAIL(recombinant human TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand) and selective Cox-2 inhibitor Celecoxib on gallbladder carcinoma in vitro and to explore the possible mechanism of the effect. Methods Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression of c-FLIP and death receptors after treatment by Celecoxib. Apoptosis of gallbladder cell line SGC-996 after the combined treatment with Celecoxib and rhTRAIL was detected in three ways: (1) phase microscopy of the cells, (2) detection of effector caspase-3 and caspase-7 activity, and (3) determination of the proportion of apoptotic cells labeled by Annexin V-PI flow cytometric analysis using CELLQUEST software. Results Celecoxib down-regulated the expression of c-FLIPs and up-regulated the expression of DR5 in a dose- and time-dependent mode on cell line SGC-996. Apoptotic levels in the combined treatment group in cell line SGC-996 were significantly higher than those in the single drug treatment group and control group. Conclusion Celecoxib markedly sensitized rhTRAIL-induced apoptosis through the down-regulation of c-FLIPs and up-regulation of DR5 in gallbladder carcinoma cell line SGC-996.

Herald of Medicine 2015;(7):938-941
Objective To study paraquat adsorbability of different field soils in Guangxi province of China. Methods HPLC method was adopted to measure the peak area of paraquat in three different media of four types of soils. Chromatographic column was Kromasil C18 column (4. 6 mm×200 mm, 5 μm); mobile phase was acetonitrile-water (including 0. 03 mol·L-1 sodium heptanesulfonate and 0. 24 mol·L-1 phosphoric acid) at a ratio of 397 (pH adjusted to 2. 0 by triethylamine). Detection wave length was 258 nm; column temperature was 25 ℃; the injection volume was 20 μL; flow rate was 0. 8 mL·min-1 . The peak areas of paraquat before and after being adsorbed were compared to calculate the adsorption rate of paraquat in different soils. Results All tested soil samples possessed the adsorption rate of paraquat over 99. 0%. Conclusion Four common field soils in Guangxi province can be used as temporary effective absorbents for the first-aid of paraquat poisoning.

24 days in mm, V1:the degree of expansion in ml) had linear correlation, E1=(0.86V1?0.60) mm. Conclusion The results of the study demonstrate that CT is an accurate and reliable imaging technique in the evaluation of the degree of expansion of the injured orbit and in the prediction of the possibility of the consequent enophthalmos and its degree. It is significantly helpful to the therapeutic planning for the quantity the retroglobal filling in the rectification of the enophthalmos.

Objective To explore the respective advantages of different direction Hegu needlings by using them to treat the pain stage of scapulohumeral periarthritis (periarthritis of shoulder) and investigating their clinical therapeutic effects. Method A randomized controlled trial was carried out. Sixty patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis in the pain stage were allocated into group Ⅰ (30 cases) and group Ⅱ (30 cases). Group Ⅰ received acupuncture at points Jianyu(LI15), Jianliao(TE14) and Jianzhen(SI9) in the direction parallel to the meridian course and group Ⅱ , in the direction perpendicular to the meridian course. Treatment was given 30 min once for a total of 12 times. The simplified Mcgill Pain Questionnaire score and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score were recorded before and after treatment. Result There were no statistically significant differences in the pain, joint activity and joint function between the two groups before, during and after treatment. Conclusion Two different direction Hegu needlings both have a marked therapeutic effect on the pain stage of scapulohumeral periarthritis. The two have no significant difference.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2017;31(2):97-101
Objective:To compare the concordance between subjective experience and clinician-rated in different treatment phrase of elderly patients with depressive disorder, and to explore the relevant factors.Methods:Sixty-nine consecutive elderly patiems with depressive disorder diagnosed with International Classification of Diseases-10 criteria were included. The Visual Scale for Depression(VSD) were used to evaluate subjective experience of depression, while the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA),Minimum Mental State Examination (MMSE) were used by clinician to evaluate depression symptom, anxiety symptom and cognition at baseline,2-,4-and 52-week of the treatment respectively. Results:Compared with baseline,VSD scores were increased at 2 weeks and 4 weeks [(2.7 ± 1.6),(5.3 ± 2.0) vs.(7.0 ± 1.8),P < 0.001],HAMD scores were decreased at 2 weeks and 4 weeks [(36 ± 11),(17 ±9) vs.(9 ±8),P <0.001],HAMA scores were decreased at 2 weeks and 4 weeks [(27 ± 10),(14 ±8) vs.(7 ±6),P <0.001].No significant differences were found between 4 weeks and 52 weeks. There was no correlation between VSD and HAMD scores at baseline and 2 weeks. There were significant correlations among scores of VSD and HAMD(r =-0.31,-0.74,Ps < 0.05),HAMA (r =-0.36,-0.76,Ps < 0.05) at 4 weeks and 52 weeks.Using logistic regression analysis, the concordance between VSD and HAMD related with the factors of HAMD,higher scores of anxiety/somatization factor were associated with lower concordance (OR =0.87),and higher scores of weight factor (OR =1.86),diurnal variation factor (OR =2.00),hopelessness factor (OR =1.13) were associated with higher concordance. Conclusion:Compared with acute depression phase, concordance between subjective experience and clinician-rated for depression may be higher at depression remission phase in elderly patients with depression, which suggests that characteristics of depression symptom may have a certain impact on the self-awareness for depression experience.
