China Medical Equipment 2014;(12):124-126
Objective: To study the effects of nasal mucosal flap preservation on the curative effect of endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. Methods:Chronic dacryocystitis patients received endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy in our hospital were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group given nasal mucosal flap preservation and control group not given nasal mucosal flap preservation. Then surgery condition, psychological stress and survival quality were observed. Results: (1)successful rate of observation group(96%) was higher than control group; (2)HAMA, HAMD, SAS, SDS score of observation group were lower than control group; self realization, health responsibility, movement, nutrition, interpersonal relationships, coping scores were higher than control group. Conclusion: Nasal mucosal flap preservation is helpful to improve the success rate of endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy and can alleviate the psychological stress, improve the quality of life in long-term follow-up.
2.Effects of mobilized hematopoietic stem cells on the expression of C-FOS mRNA in focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion rats
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(04):-
Objective To study the effect of autologous hematopoietic stem cells mobilized by G-CSF on the expression of C-FOS mRNA in focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion(MCAO/R) rats. Methods MCAO/R was induced by the filament occlusion method.Immunohistochemisty and dual labeling technique were used to detect HSCs differentiating into neuron-like cells after focal cerebral ischemia.RT-PCR technique was used to detect the expression of C-FOS mRNA.Results In the G-CSF treatment group,24 hours after the focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury,CD34/Brdu dual labeled cells were found in the ischemia area;48 hours later,CD34/Brdu and CD34/NSE dual labeled cells were found,Compared with the control group, there was an enhanced expression level of C-FOS mRNA in the model group; In contrast, the expression of C-FOS mRNA in the G-CSF treatment group reduced.(Conclusion Autologous) hematopoietic stem cells mobilized by G-CSF can restore injury and decrease the expression of C-FOS mRNA.Some of HSCs can differentiate into neuron-like cells and may play an important role in the progress of the restoration.

Methods:Rhinitis and sinusitis patients were randomly divided into ffect of sinuses perfusate plus budesonide in chronic rhinitis and sinusitis after endoscopic surgery given sinuses perfusate and observation group given sinuses perfusate plus budesonide. Then saccharin clearance time, pulmonary function and inflammatory factor level were observed. Results:saccharin clearance time, heart rate, respiratory rate after walking, MRC score and IL1, IL2, IL4, IL6, IL8 levels of observation group were lower than control group;a second rate, 6 MWT were significantly higher than control group. Conclusion:Sinuses perfusate plus budesonide has positive clinical value for it can improve treatment effect and alleviate inflammatory state.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Objective The aims of the present study are to further investigate mechanism of toxicological role of sulfur dioxide (SO 2) exposure on mammalian animals Methods Effects of SO 2 inhalation (14 mg/m 3) on activities of antioxidative enzymes and levels of lipid peroxidation in erythrocytes of male rats were determined Results SO 2 inhalation caused the decrease of Cu,Zn SOD activity, the increase of GSH Px activity, and no change of CAT activity, and the increase of level of lipid peroxidation in rat erythrocytes Conclusion Primary mechanism of toxicological role of SO 2 exposure at low concentrations may be that oxidation damages of lipid and other biological large moleculars are caused by SO 2 producing reactive oxygen species

Objective To assess the influence of subglottic secretion drainage(SSD)on the prevention of ventilator associated pneumonia(VAP).Methods 63 patients in the intensive care unit(ICU)who received mechanical ventilation above 48 hours were divided into two groups named group A(31 cases)and group B(32 cases).Group A received SSD 1 time per 6 hours while group B only got SSD at 48 hours, the 4th,7th and 14th days when samples were got.We brushed away secretion from airway and also monitored bacteriology of the subglottic secretion between the two groups. Results The incidence rate of VAP in group A was 6.1%and was evidently lower than that of group B(P<0.05),which was 31.3%within 1 week. But 1 week later the incidence rate of VAP in the two groups was not statistically difierent(P>0.05).The onset time of VAP was later anti the bacteria number in the subglottic secretion was less in group A than those in group B(P<0.01).The same bacteria strain was found in the subglottic secretion and airway secretions in 13 patients out of 22 VAP patients. The dominant bacteria were P.aeruginosa,K.pneumonia,Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas stenotrophomonas. Conclusion SSD could reduce the bacteria concentration in subglottic secretion, decrease VAP incidence and delay the onset of VAP.Migration of dominant bacteria from the subglottic secretion was one of the important causes of VAP.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Whether three genes [?-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALAD) gene, Vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene and hemochromatosis gene] can make certain individuals more vulnerable to lead are discussed. Polymorphisms of ALAD gene have been associated with the accumulation and distribution of lead in the blood, bone and internal organs in humans and animals. VDR gene has been implicated in the control of calcitriol levels in serum, which normally regulates calcium absorption and can in turn affect lead levels. Hemochromatosis gene, associated with a disease that leads to excessive iron accumulation, may also influence the absorption of lead.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(05):-
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of anisodamine on pulmonary edema after sea-water drowning(PE-SWD). Methods Rat models of PE-SWD were set up by infusing sea-water into rats lungs, and then were randomly divided into PE-SWD model group(M group) and therapeutic group with anisodamine(T group). Blood-gas indexes of arterial blood were measured at 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours after infusion. TNF-? levels in the plasma, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and lung tissues were detected by ELISA. At the same time, the dry/wet weight of lung was also measured. Results The levels of blood PaO_2,SO_2 and pH in T group were obviously higher than those in M group 2h after infusion. The dry/wet weight of lung in T group was lower than that in M group. The concentration of TNF-? in plasma, BALF and lung tissues in the both M and T groups significantly higher than that in control group, and reached maximum 1h after infusion. After infusion, the TNF-? contentration in all tested specimens in T group was obviously lower than that in M group. Conclusion There was the therapeutic effect of anisodamine on the pulmonary edema after sea-water drowning possibly by decreasing TNF-? level.

Studies demonstrate that peptides have great potential in cancer therapy and inhibitation of tumor progression.Peptides can be used as hormones, vaccines, carriers of redionuclides and cytotoxic drugs as well as anti-tumor drugs playing important roles in oncotherapy.Targeting chemotherapy and targeting drug transportation technique can enable the drugs to concentrate expected location selectively and effectively, emerging as an alternative to the conventional chemotherapy.
