Objective To investigate the clinical effect of different treatment protocols for osteoporotic hip fracture in senile patients.Methods Clinical data of 156 senile patients with osteoporosis hip fracture admitted to our hospital from Jan.2012 to Jan.2015 were retrospectively analyzed.The clinical effects of different treatment protocols for osteoporosis hip fracture were compared and analyzed.Results 32 cases were treated with conservative treatment,15 cases with total hip replacement,45 cases with artificial femoral head replacement,16 cases with intramedullary fixation,10 cases with extramedullary fixation,38 cases with skeletal traction,and the excellent rate was 56.2％,93.3％,91.1％,62.5％,60.0％ and 63.2％,respectively.Conclusions An appropriate surgical treatment should be selected based on patient's self-conditions and fracture characteristics,while combining with drugs treatment and functional exercise so as to increase the clinical effect in senile patients with osteoporotic hip fracture.

Objective To evaluate the effect of locking compression plate for treatment in the osteoporotic of unstable distal radius fractures.Methods 48 cases of osteoporotic of unstable distal radius fractures were treated with open reduction and LCP fixation through volar approach.They were 8 men and 40 women aged from 58 to 77 years (range,63.7 years).They were all diagnosed by dual energy X ray absorptiometry before operation.According to AO/OTA criterion,there were 12 patients with type B2 fractures,10 cases with type B3,8 cases with type C1,13 cases with type C2,5 cases with type C3.All patients were performed locking plate fixations through volar approach and no bone graf.All patients were assessed from time of fracture healing,palmar tilt,radiographic measurements of ulnar inclination,radial height,and range of motion after 18 months,to evaluate the effect of clinical results and postopera-tive functional recovery.Results The patients were followed up for average 17.8 months (range,12 -24 months). All fratures united within 6 months (3 to 7 months),no infection in all patients,reduction loss in 2 cases after operation,traumatic arthritis in three.According to the Cooney criterion,the result was excellent in 35 pateints,good in 9 cases,fair in 3 cases and poor in 1 case,and the excellence rate was 92%.Conclusion The valor approach with locking compression plate can provide firm fixation and allow early functional exercise and so is suitable for unstable distal radius fracture especially in the osteoporotic of unstable distal radius fractures.

Objective To study the mechanism of rat blood pressure lowered by SO2 and SO2 derivatives.Methods 6-Keto-PGF1? and TXB2 were determined by radioimmunoassay in the plasma and aorta tissue of rats.Results The 6-Keto increased significantly in the isolated aortic rings in all exposure groups except 8 mmol/L group.No change of TXB2 was observed in the rings in all exposure groups.Meanwhile,6-Keto/TXB2 ratios increased significantly at 2 mmol/L and 4 mmol/L.Compared with the control group,6-Keto level decreased significantly in the plasma of the rats exposed to SO2 at 14 mg/m3,28mg/m3 and 56 mg/m3,but the level of TXB2 increased significantly.6-Keto/TXB2 ratios decreased gradually with the increase of SO2 concentration.Conclusion PGI2 and TXA2 are possibly changed by SO2 and SO2 derivatives,which regulates partly rat blood pressure.

Platelet-activating factor(PAF) at different concentrations were added to in vitro cultured bovine=pulmonary artery endothelial cells(BPAEC) when lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) release rate, angiotensin converting enzyme(ACE) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were determined. The influences of specific PAF receptor antagonist on PAF effects and the stimulating effect of PAF on leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion were also observed. The results showed that when PAF were added to BPAECs, there were no significant change in LDH release rate, ACE activities were only slightly increased. No obvious changes in cellbound MDA, but supernatant MDA content was increased in cells treated with high concentration of PAF (10~(-6)). The PAF receptor antagonist, SRI 63-441 made the cell-bound MDA content higher than that of PAF treated cells, whereas the supernatant MDA became lower. PAF may promote endothelial-leukocyte adhesion either through its effects on endothelial cells or on leukocytes, suggesting that PAF has no obvious damaging effect on endothelial cells but may activate endothelial cells thus promoting endothelialleukocyte adhesion.

Objective To study the distribution of the sulfur dioxide (SO2) in the different organs of mice after exposed to SO2. Methods The Kunming mice were exposed to SO2 at different doses in a chamber in which the concentration of SO2 could be monitored. The concentrations of sulfite in livers, kidneys, spleens and testis from male mice were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detection (FD). After reduction, pre-column derivation to tissue homogenates of livers, kidneys, spleens and testis, the mixture was centrifuged, and 5 ?l of the resulting supernatant was directly injected into HPLC with analytical column C18(200 mm ? 5.0 mm, 5 ?m), where the mobile phase consisted of a mixture methanol-water(contained 0.25% acetic acid ) (10:90,V/V), pH was 2.8 adjusted with phosphoric acid, and the exciting and emitting wavelength of fluorescence detection were 392nm and 479nm,respectively. The mobile phase was pumped at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min, and the column temperature was 30 ℃. Results The standard curve of sulfite was linear in the range from 0.063 ?g/ml to 1.26 ?g/ml (r=0.997 8), and the minimal detectable concentration was 0.05 ?g/ml (S/N=3) with a recovery rates of 95%-101%. The relative standard deviations (RSD) of intra-day and inter-day RSD were less than 10%. Objective　To investigate the expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) gene and its significance in the process of glioma cell differentiation induced by nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA). Methods　Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization were used to detect the expression changes of GFAP protein and GFAP mRNA qualitatively and quantitatively. Results　The expression levels of GFAP protein and GFAP mRNA in NDGA treatment group were significantly increased compared with the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion　NDGA could induce GFAP gene in malignant glioma cells and the up-regulation of this gene expression might be one of the mechanisms by which NDGA induces glioma differentiation.

Objective To study the effect of PPARγ ligand troglitazone (TGZ) on invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer cells, and investigate the relationship of PPARγ ligand with gastric cancer.Methods The expression of PPARγ in gastric cancer cell line MGC803 were detected by immunofluorescence cytochemistry method. The effect of different density TGZ on proliferation activity and adhesion of gastric cancer cell were detected by MTT chromatometry. The effect of different ligands on invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer cell MGC803 were detected by invasion system in vitro. Results The expression of PPARγ mainly located in cell nucleus. TGZ inhibited the proliferation of gastric cancer cell, decreased cell adhesion, locomotory capacity and invasion to matrigel, which had time and dose-dependent relationship.When treatment with 0. 1,1.0 and 10μ mol/ L TGZ, inhibition ratio of invasion and metastasis of cell was 8.79% ,31.31% ,51.42% and 28.29% ,4. 27% ,59. 27% respectively, which had statistical significance compared with control group( P <0. 05). When treatment was 10μ mol/L TGZ, cell adhesion was 0. 32 ±0. 03, it was statistically significant higher than that in control group (0. 52 ± 0. 04, P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion Human gastric cancer cell line MGC803 expressed functional PPARγ protein. TGZ inhibited adhesion and invasion of MGC803 cell on ECM at different degree, the effect of combination of two ligands was evident, which mechanism of action needed to be further investigated.

Protein is involved in a variety of biological activities and associated with disease development,such as cancer.With the development of mass spectrometry-based proteomic technologies,qualitative and quantitative analysis of protein in clinical specimen using mass spectrometry is rapidly progressing in cancer biomarker study.Novel cancer biomarker for early diagnosis and prognosis evaluation is the key to reducing death rate and improving survival rate.This review summarizes mass spectrometry technologies and proteomic studies for cancer biomarker discovery.

Objective To study the therapeutic effect of anisodamine on pulmonary edema after sea-water drowning(PE-SWD). Methods Rat models of PE-SWD were set up by infusing sea-water into rats lungs,and then were randomly divided into PE-SWD model group(M group) and therapeutic group with anisodamine(T group). Blood-gas indexes of arterial blood were measured at 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours after infusion. TNF-? levels in the plasma,bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and lung tissues were detected by ELISA. At the same time,the dry/wet weight of lung was also measured. Results The levels of blood PaO_2,SO_2 and pH in T group were obviously higher than those in M group 2h after infusion. The dry/wet weight of lung in T group was lower than that in M group. The concentration of TNF-? in plasma, BALF and lung tissues in the both M and T groups significantly higher than that in control group, and reached maximum 1h after infusion. After infusion,the TNF-? contentration in all tested specimens in T group was obviously lower than that in M group. Conclusion There was the therapeutic effect of anisodamine on the pulmonary edema after sea-water drowning possibly by decreasing TNF-? level.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of different kinds of insulin combined with Metformin in the treatment of T2DM.Methods 120 T2DM patients were selected and divided into three groups according to different therapies of reducing blood sugar with 40 cases in each group.Group A was treated with insulin glargine combined with Metformin;Group B with insulin detemir combined with Metformin and Group C with protamine zinc insulin combined with Metformin .The time for reaching the standards of blood sugar and the corresponding usage amount of insulin of three groups were observed;After 6 months, the three groups were com-pared in terms of FBG, PBG HbA1c, HOMA-IR, TC, TG and LDL-C.Meanwhile, the incidence rate of hypoglycemia after treat-ment was observed.Results Time for reaching the standards of blood sugar in Group A, Group B and Group C was (6.9 ±2.3)d, (4.1 ±3.0)d and (3.8 ±1.5)d, respectively;the corresponding dosages of insulin of the three groups was (19.0 ±7.8)U, (12.1 ±5.9)U and (11.9 ±5.3)U, respectively, with significant difference between Group A and Groups C, D (p<0.05) and insignifi-cant difference between Group B and Group C (p>0.05).After 6 months, FBG, PBG, HbA1c, HOMA-IR in Group B, Group C and Group A were significantly reduced (p<0.05);with insignificance between Group B and Group C (p>0.05).6 months follow-ing the treatment, TC, TG and LDL-C in Group B, Group C and Group A were significantly different (p<0.05), with insignificant difference between Group B and Group C (p<0.05).The incidence rate of hypoglycemia in Group A, Group B and Group C was 22.5%, 20.0% and 5.0%, respectively, with those in Group B and Group C significantly lower than Group A (p<0.05) and in-significant difference between Group B and Group C (p>0.05).Conclusion The insulin detemir and protamine zinc insulin com-bined with Metformin has a better clinical efficacy in the treatment of T2DM.It can promptly control the blood sugar level and lead to a lower incidence rate of hypoglycemia.Therefore it is worthy of promotion.
