1. The angiogenesis patterns of human glioma transplanted in nude mice
Tumor 2007;27(6):437-440
Objective: To investigate the expression of molecular marker ABCG2 of stem cells and tumor angiogenesis-related gene products including vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), CD34 and very late antigen alfa-2 (VLA-2α) in human glioma-bearing nude mice and observe the patterns of angiogenesis in transplanted tumors by CD34-PAS double staining. Methods: The human glioma cells were subcutaneously transplanted in 30 nude mice. Six normal brain tissues were as controls. The hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunohistochemical examination were performed to determine the positive rate and the hot-spot of gene product expression. The patterns of angiogenesis were observed under light microscope. Results: The positive rates of ABCG2, VEGF, and VLA-2α expression were all 100% in transplanted tumors. The average percentage of positive cells was (3. 93 ± 1. 438)%, (34. 84 ± 6.212)% (30.33 ± 4.428)%, respectively. The value of micro-vascular density (MVD) labeled by CD34 averaged at 29. 78 ± 5.88. All the three microcirculation patterns, endothelium-dependent vessels, mosaic vessels and vasculogenic mimicry, were present in xenografted human glioma tissue samples. Conclusions: The ABCG2-overexpressed cells tended to be located close to blood vessels. VEGF and VLA-2α play an important role in angiogenesis of transplanted tumors in nude mice. There exist three different microcirculation patterns in high malignant transplanted tumors.

Objective To determine the dietary nutritional status of rural residents in Midwestern Shandong Province,in order to improve the dietary pattern and health status of them.Method 11 987 residents, from 10 273 households, were included in this study by multi-stage randomized cluster sampling in 8 counties located in Midwestern Shandong Province.Questionnaire of Food Frequency (QFF) was applied to collect the information about the amount and frequency of food consumed by the subjects in the past year. Results The average intake of cereal, vegetable, fruit, meat, egg, milk, bean, oil and salt per reference man per day was 553.9 g,310.6 g,58.2 g, 36.3 g,50.1 g,16.7 g,34.4 g,44.8 g and 12.3 g,respectively. The average intake of energy, carbohydrate, protein, fat and dietary fiber per reference man per day was 12 095.6 kJ,451.8 g,85.6 g,78.8 g and 18.7 g as well Cereal food provides 66.1% of total energy; however, the meat provides only 6.6% of that.Carbohydrate, protein and fat amount to around 63.2%,12.0% and 24.8% of total energy, respectively.24.0% of fat intake was from animal food, while 76% of that was from vegetable food. Conclusions The intake of energy, protein, fat was sufficient for these subjects;however, the intake of vegetable, fruit, bean and meat was lower than the dietary reference intake. Moreover, oil and salt intake in these subjects was much higher than Chinese Recommended Nutrient Intakes. Thus, the amelioration of dietary pattern in rural residents will be an important task for nutrition workers in rural area of Midwestern part of Shandong Province in the future.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(2):191-197
This paper is aimed to study the differences of allelopathic effects of Panax notoginseng under different allelopathic chemicals resources and selection of appropriate rotation crops. The additive main effects and multiplicative interaction ( AMMI) model had been used to evaluate the stability of allelopathic effects of P. notoginseng on the varieties of corn, wheat and rice properly. The model could use not only to evaluate the stability of non-regional trial data but also explore the interaction between the rotation crop genotypes and donor substances more efficiently. Meanwhile, correspondence analysis can be used in the AMMI to evaluate genotype stability and donor substances. Ejingza No. 1 (g6) had stronger allelopathic effects with high stability, but Yunrui No. 1 (g9) which was appropriate rotation crop genotype, had weaker allelopathic effects with high stability. These findings will aid in choosing appropriate rotation crops and establishing proper rotation system.

8. Participation of Pharmacist in the Analysis and Handle of Hypoglycemia Induced by Octreotid
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2017;52(12):1093-1096
OBJECTIVE: To share the process of analysis and intervene the adverse drug reaction (ADR) caused by octreotide, and to provide reference for the work mode of clinical pharmacist. METHODS: One case of hypoglycemia possibly caused by octreotide was discovered. The clinical pharmacist recommend the doctor to replace octreotide as somatostatin after a review of the relevant information and literatures. Then the clinical pharmacist investigated awareness of hypoglycemia ADR of octreotide among the ICU doctors, and introduced the ADR of octreotide and the difference between octreotide and somatostatin among them. RESULTS: After the intervention, the hypoglycemia was corrected and the patient was cured and clinical pharmacists' working mode was identified. CONCLUSION: Clinically, pharmacists should not only have good professional knowledge, but also master the ways and means of communication, in addition to assisting doctors monitoring of adverse drug reactions, also need to continue to explore the work mode.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(10):-
Objective To study the relationship between the MRI features and pathological types of intracranial meningiomas. Methods MRI findings of intracranial meningiomas in 63 cases proved by operation and pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Results Of 63 cases,62 cases were singular and one case was multiple lesions. The lesions were located in frontal, parietal and occipital regions nearby the convexity of the brain in 30 cases,in sellar region in 10,at sphenoidal crest in 8 , at olfactory sulcus in 5 and at other regions in 10. Isointense or slightly hypointense signal on T 1WI was found in 87.27% cases of meningiomas . On T 2WI, tumors had isointense or slightly hyperintense signal in 69.84%, obviously hyperintense signal in 19.05%,heterogenous texture signal in 7.94% and slightly low intense signal in 3.17%. Pathological type was included meningiomas meningothelial(n=29), meningiomas fibrous(n=11) , meningiomas psammomatous(n=8),angioblastic meningiomas (n=5) and meningiomas angiomatous(n=10). Conclusion It is great value in diagnosis of meningiomas with MRI. Meningiomas angiomatous show effecting of blood-vessel flowed empty with MR imaging.

Objective To compare the effects of biphasic square waveform (BSW) with low or high energy on external defibrillation.Method Adult swine model of closed chest ventricular fibrillation induced by electricity was established.Eighteen swine, weighing (30?3.3) kg were randomly divided into three groups:50-50-50 J group (n=6),30-50-75 J group (n=6),120-150-200 J (n=6).After three minutes of ventricular fibrillation without treatment, the pigs in the three groups were defibrillated accordance to the above sequences. Results 30 J BSW didn't succed to external defibrillate. The first defibrillation successful rate of 50 J and 120 J BSW was 5/6.The total defibrillation successful rate of every group was 100%.All pigs quickly had spontaneous circulation after defibrillation and survived more than 24 hours.ST-T change of low-energy was less than that of high-energy.After resuscitation, myocardial function decreased, but there had not significant differences between groups. Conclusions In the study,30J BSW could not reach successful defibrillation, and 50 J and 120 J BSW had similar defibrillation efficacy. The ideal energy of BSW external defibrillation was 50 J.
