5.A more accurate and efficient fluorescent probe of Caspase-8 activity based on flow cytometric fluorescence resonance energy transfer.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(3):291-297
As a classic fluorescent detect technique, fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) has been widely used in biological researches. Researchers have developed a series of fluorescence detect probes which were based on FRET. Caspase family plays an important role in apoptosis pathway, especially Caspase-8 which located, at the initial of death receptor mediated apoptosis pathway, whose its activation can trigger subsequent precaspases' activation and lead to apoptosis. So it is of great significance to detect the activation of Caspase-8 in apoptosis assay. In this study, a fluorescent probe based on FRET has been designed which can detect the activity change of Caspase-8 in cells. To identify the effectiveness and specificity of the probe, we measure the Caspase-8 activity under the Caspase-8 specifically activated apoptosis inducer RGD-TRAIL with the flow cytometry FRET detection platform. The results show that the probe can respond to the activity change of Caspase-8 in apoptotic cells, and the change can be quantified rapidly by flow cytometry. The study provides a more efficient and convenient detection method of Caspase-8 activity in living cells.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(6):671-675
OBJECTIVETo systematically evaluate the effectiveness of integrative medicine (IM) for preventing postoperative recurrence of primary hepatic carcinomas (PHC).
METHODSSuch databases as The Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMbase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP Database, Wan-fang Database were retrieved to collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on preventing postoperative recurrence of PHC by IM. The retrieval period started from database establishment to June 2013. Literature screening, data extraction, and quality evaluation were performed by two reviewers strictly according to inclusion criteria. Meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.2 Software.
RESULTSA total of 5 RCTs involving 367 patient cases were included. Results of Meta-analysis showed that the IM group was superior to the Western medicine (WM) group in the 1-, 2-, and 3-year recurrence rates (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONIn the prevention of postoperative recurrence of PHC, the effectiveness of IM was more significant, when compared with treatment of Western medicine.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(4):373-375
ObjectiveTo provide a brief scale of mood measurement with satisfactory reliability and validity.MethodsThe 40-item BFS was abbreviated to a short-vcrsioncd BFS by item analysis.282 adult participants were surveyed by the brief BFS and NEO-FFI while NEO-FFI was taken as a criterion instrument.Reliability and validity of brief BFS were examined.ResultsThe brief BFS had 18 items including six dimensions ( activity, cheer, calmness, indignation, stir and depression),and the cronbach's α were 0.87,0.75,0.85,0.86,0.84 and 0.86 respectively and the retest reliability( r value) were 0.67,0.57,0.61,0.62,0.75 and 0.69 respectively. All the key fit indices of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) of brief BFS were above 0.90.Besides,NEO-FFI had significant correlation with brief BFS.ConclusionThe brief BFS has satisfactory reliability and validity.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2014;23(2):152-155
Objective To investigate the effect of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) on the psychological healthy state among high school students in the earthquake regions.Method The samples were consisted of 666 high school students who had experienced the Wenchuan Earthquake. The Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R) and Self Description Questionnaire (SDQ) were used to rate symptoms of PTSD and psychological states of high school students.Data were analyzed using correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis for male or female separately. Results (1) Because their scores of IES-R were higher than 35,22.67% participants were considered as PTSD patients, girls accounted for 83 or 25.31% of the total female;and boys accounted for 68 or 21.72% of the total male.(2) Among female, avoid and awake systems of PTSD were correlated significantly with their psychological state significantly (r=0.101-0.181,P<0.05).The result of structural equation model analysis was similar to correlation analysis, corresponding coefficients of path ranged 0.11 to 0.18 (P<0.05).(3) Among male, intrude and awake systems were correlated with their psychological state significantly (r=0.111-0.313,P<0.05).Corresponding coefficients of path ranged from 0.11 to 0.31 (P< 0.05).Conclusion Systems of PTSD effect clearly on the psychological state of high school students, and there are the gender difference among these relationships. The symptoms of PTSD influence interpersonal relationships, emotion, conduct, appearance and self-evaluation,but school work and stamina are not influenced in this study.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
The nutritional status in early life have been gradually recognized that it can change the status of development and metabolism of adults.Epidemiological evidence and animal model study have found that low birth weight is the risk factors of adult metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease.Insulin resistance is a common pathophysiological basis.Renin-angiotensin system and insulin signaling systems interact to promote the development of insulin resistance.
