Objective To compare the effect of emergency percutaneous transluminal coronanry angioplasty and thrombolytic therapy (PTCA) in acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods 52 cases of AMI were treated by emergency PTCA while 58 cases of AMI were treated by thrombolytic therapy, we then compared the clinical effect between two groups both in hospital and the follow-up period. Results In the emergency PTCA group, 3 cases died while 49 cases were successful (success rate 94.2%) and the average staying in hospital was 14.6 d. In this group the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVFT) was 45.5%?4.3%. During the follow-up period of 2～18 months, 3 cases of angina pectoris occurred again and 3 case accepted the treatment of selective PTCA in the emergency PTCA group. In the group of thrombolysis, 8 cases died while 50 cases were successful (the ratio of success rate 86.2%) and the average staying in hospital was 26.4 d. In this group the LVFT was 37.6?6.2. During the follow-up period of 2～18 months, 17 cases of angina pectoris occurred again and 17 cases accepted the treatment of selective PTCA in the thrombolysis group. Conclusion The infarct related arteries (IRA) can be revascularized with emergency PTCA in AMI. The treatment of emergency PTCA can reduce the ratio of sudden death and the days in-hospital ( P

Objective To observe the short term results of emergency PTCA and stent treatment of acute myocardial infarction Methods Analyze the 52 cases of acute myocardial infarction under PTCA and stent treatment in our hospital. Results The reopen rate of infarct related vessels is 100%. One of patients was not able to implant the stent. The post operative situation, ECG and myocardial enzyme are improved obviously without complication. The mean hospitalization period is about 2 weeks. 2 D echo shows EF was normal before discharge. Conclusion The reopen rate of infarct related vessels of AMI under emergency PTCA and stent treatment can short AMI patients′ hospitalization time and improve the myocardial pump function obviously.

Objective To compare the anti-inflammatory,antitumor and anti-bacterial effects of the single extract(in granules)and the prepared drug in pieces of Forsythia Suspense(Lianqiao,a traditional Chinese herbal medicine).Methods In zebrafish embryo models of CuSO4 exposure,tail transection and LPS microinjection-induced inflammation,the anti-inflammatory effects of 10 μg/mL DEX,single extract of Forsythia Suspense,and the water extract of the prepared drug(400,600,and 800 μg/mL)were evaluated by observing neutrophil counts,RT-qPCR,HE staining and survival analysis.Zebrafish embryo models bearing different human tumor cell xenografts were used to assess the anti-tumor effect of the drugs in different dosage forms by fluorescence staining and HE staining.The microbroth dilution method was used to evaluate the antibacterial efficacy of the drugs.Results In the zebrafish embryo models of inflammation,both of the two dosage forms of Forsythia Suspense significantly inhibited neutrophil aggregation,reduced the mRNA expressions of TNF-α,IL-6,P38,Jnk,Erk and P65,and increased the survival rate of zebrafish.They both showed obvious inhibitory effects against xenografts of different human cancer cells including colon cancer cells(HCT116),pancreas adenocarcinoma cells(PANC-1),lung cancer cells(A549),liver cancer cells(Hep3B)and cervical carcinoma cells(Hela)in zebrafish embryos,and exhibited strong anti-bacterial effects at the concentration of 15.63 mg/mL.Conclusion The two dosage forms of Forsythia Suspense have similar anti-inflammatory,antitumor and antibacterial effects,but their effects for inhibiting IL-6,P65,and Jnk mRNA expressions and HCT116 cell proliferation differ significantly at low doses in zebrafish.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the quality of evidence in the systematic evaluation/meta-analysis of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） for diabetes retinopathy （DR） based on the GRADE system. METHODS Chinese and English databases were searched to obtain the relevant studies of systematic evaluation/meta-analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of DR. The search time was from the establishment of each database to January 13th， 2024. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria， literature screening was conducted. After extracting relevant information from the included literature， the GRADE system was used to evaluate the quality level of the evidence body in the included studies， and the evidence of the outcome indicators was integrated and summarized. RESULTS A total of 51 studies were ultimately included， encompassing 135 outcome indexes. Among these， 19 indicators （14.1%） were of high quality， 87 （64.4%） were of medium quality， 26 （19.3%） were of low quality， and 3 （2.2%） were of very low quality. Overall， the evidence quality of the outcome indicators in the included studies was medium to low quality. The integrated results of evidence on the efficacy of outcome indexes showed that compared with conventional Western medicine， calcium dobesilate or placebo， TCM had significant advantages in improving overall efficacy， reducing bleeding spot area， reducing macular foveal thickness， and increasing visual improvement rate. In addition，the combination of TCM and conventional Western medicine or calcium dobesilate was significantly more effective than using conventional Western medicine or calcium dobesilate alone. CONCLUSIONS The overall quality of the evidence in the systematic evaluation/meta-analysis study on the treatment of DR with TCM is medium to low quality. Based on existing research findings， TCM demonstrates good clinical efficacy in the treatment of DR.
