Objective To evaluate the risk factors of septic shock after mini-percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (mPCNL). Methods Clinical data of 1 590 cases who underwent mPCNL from January 2013 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. The x2 test and logistic regression were used to identify the key risk factors for septic shock after mPCNL. Results Of the 1 590 patients, 18 patients suffered septic shock, including 6 male patients and 12 fe﹣male patients. Their mean age was (45.6 ± 13.5) years (28 ~ 69 years). White cell in urine was 100 percent, the stone diameter ranged from 1.5 to 5.0 cm, unichannel for 15 cases while multichannel for 3 cases, the operation du﹣ration ranged from 45 to 200 min, mean (87.0 ± 56.0) min. 2 in 18 cases died in multiple organ failure, the others recovered till discharged. In x2 test, female gender (P = 0.001), (+++ ~ ++++) white cells in urine (P= 0.042), un-preoperative nephrostomy drainage (P=0.041) had significant association with septic shock after mPCNL. While in multivariate analysis, female gender ( O? = 5.471, 95 % CI: 0.756~21.452, P< 0.05) and un-preoperative nephrostomy drainage (O? =3.106, 95%CI:1.283~7.907, P<0.05) were identified as independent risk factors for septic shock after mPCNL. Conclusions Female gender and un-preoperative nephrostomy drainage are the key risk factors for septic shock after mPCNL.

OBJECTIVETo establish an HPLC method for determination of catalpol in CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) of rats.
METHODRats were intravenously injected 1.0 g x L(-1) catalpol physiological saline, and the sample of CSF from subarachnoid space of the cerebrum 40 minutes of injection. The sample of CSF from normal rats was used for blank control, the all samples were preserved in a refrigerator of - 20 degrees C, and use HPLC was employed to determine the catalpol content. The separation of catalpol was performed on Hypersil C18 reversion phase chromatographic column. The mobile phase consisted of water-acetonitrile (99.5: 0.5) with a flow rate of 1.0 mL x min(-1) and detection wavelength of 210 nm.
RESULTThe linear range of catalpol in CSF was 0.5-40 mg x L(-1) (r = 0.999 7). The absolute recoveries were (90.2 +/- 1.71)%, (89.1 +/- 1.17)% and (86.9 +/- 0.98)%; and the methodological recoveries were (99.8 +/- 1.98)%, (101.1 +/- 3.04)%, (100.1 +/- 2.30)% respectively. The within-day and between-day derivation RSD were less than 4%. Catalpol was stable in a refrigerator of -20 degrees C for 15 days.
CONCLUSIONThe method is simple and accurate for the determination of the content of catalpol in CSF.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of Sanlengwan (SLW) on adhesion molecules expression and the accretion in ectopic endometrium of rats.
METHODEndometriosis was established by surgical implant of endometrial tissue which belong to its body. Forty EMS model rats were randomly divided into five groups: model control group, three dose of SLW groups and anastrozole group. Meanwhile, eight normal rats were used as the normal group. All the rats were treated for 4 weeks respectively, and the volume of grafts were measured by vernier caliper, morphological changes were measured by HE stain, and the adhesion molecules, ICAM-1 and CD44 protein, were also measured by immunohistochemical test before and after treatment of SLW.
RESULTSLW markedly reduced the volume of grafts, improve the morphological characters and decreased the expression of ICAM-1 and CD44 in ectopic endometrial tissue.
CONCLUSIONSLW can inhibit the accretion of ectopic endometrium tissue of rats, and its mechanism might be associated with inhibiting the expression of ICAM-1 and CD44 protein.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare the Carboprost methyl-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) clathrate sublingual tab-lets,and conduct quality evaluation. METHODS:Wet granulation method was used to prepare Carboprost methyl-HP-β-CD clath-rate sublingual tablets. Using the appearance, calving time, wetting time and main drug content as investigation indexes, mass ratio of mannitol-lactose,povidone volume fraction and amount of low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose(L-HPC)as factors,orthogo-nal test was used to screen the formulation. The calving time, wetting time, main drug content, content uniformity, dissolution de-gree of sublingual tablets with optimal formulation were evaluated. RESULTS:The optimal formulation was as follow as 78.82 mg of carboprost methyl-HP-β-CD clathrate (containing carboprost methyl 1 mg),100 mg of mannitol-lactose (mass ratio of 9:1) mixed powder, appropriate amount of 2% povidone solution,30 mg of L-HPC,and 1 mg of magnesium stearate. The calving time of prepared 3 batches of sublingual tablets was(25.30±3.21)-(26.53±2.69)s;wetting time was(64.65±8.07)-(65.54±7.21)s;main drug content was (96.13 ± 0.43)%-(97.06 ± 0.82)%;content uniformity was 5.95-7.68;the cumulative dissolution degree within 10 min was more than 50%,and it can completely dissolute within 30 min. CONCLUSIONS:Carboprost methyl- HP-β-CD clathrate sublingual tablets, which are up to requirements, are prepared successfully.

Male primary adenocarcinoma of urethra is rare clinically. A patient with primary adenocarcinoma of posterior urethra complicated with intestinal metaplasia was admitted and underwent urethral mass resection. The tumor recurred 3 months after surgery and no further treatment was given for personal reasons. The purpose of this report is to improve clinicians' understanding of urethral cancer, so that patients can undergo more accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of standardized bowel preparation and nursing procedures in patients with colon disease underwent full abdominal CT examination. Methods:A total of 281 inpatients who were diagnosed as "colon tumors" and underwent full-abdominal CT examinations from January 2016 to December 2017 were selected. From January to December 2016, 153 patients were included in the study, which is the pre-implementation group; from January to December 2017, 128 patients were included in the study, all of whom received standardized bowel preparation and nursing procedures, and were the post-implementation group. Compare and observe the differences in the cleanliness, intestinal filling and CT image quality of patients before and after the intervention measures. Results:After the implementation of standardized nursing procedures, the proportion of patients with good intestinal cleanliness was 71.09% (91/128), which was higher than the pre-implementation of 33.33% (51/153) ( χ2 value was 40.79, P<0.001). The proportion of patients with sub-intestinal preparations also decreased ( P<0.05). The proportion of patients with good intestinal filling in the post-implementation group was 75.00% (96/128), which was higher than 42.48% (65/153) in the pre-implementation group ( χ2 value was 42.63, P<0.001). After the implementation of standardized nursing procedures, the image quality rate of patients with whole abdominal CT was 90.63% (116/128), which was higher than the pre-implementation 32.68% (50/153) ( χ2 value was 98.34, P<0.001). Conclusion:The standardized nursing process can improve the quality of bowel preparation and significantly improve the image quality of abdominal CT examination.
