2.Advances in hematopoietic stem cell mobilization
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2013;22(7):400-405
Mobilized peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) have largely replaced the use of bone marrow as a source of stem cells for both allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplantation.G-CSF with or without chemotherapy is the most commonly used regimen for stem cell mobilization. Some donors or patients, especially the heavily pretreated patients, fail to mobilize the targeted number of stem cells with this regimen. The generation of new mobilization agents and new therapies can improve the mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2011;34(18):4-5
Objective To investigate the effect of combined spinal epidural anesthesia with sitting position in parturient woman undergoing elective cesarean section. Methods One hundred parturient women undergoing elective cesarean section were divided into two groups by random digits table, 50 cases of control group adopted combined spinal epidural anesthesia with left lateral position, 50 cases of observation group adopted combined spinal epidural anesthesia with sitting position, the onset time of anesthesia, operation time, dose of ephedrine, neonatal Apgar scores and side effects of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results Three cases of control group failed to be followed up,1 case of observation group performed urgent cesarean section. The onset time of anesthesia and dose of ephedrine of observation group was significantly shorter than that of control group, there was significant difference between two groups (P < 0.05 ); the operation time and neonatal Apgar scores of two groups were compared, there were no significant differences (P > 0.05); the incidence of side effect of observation group was significantly lower than that of controlgroup [ 14.3%(7/49) vs. 31.9%( 15/47)], there was significant difference (P< 0.05). Conclusion Combined spinal epidural anesthesia with sitting position in parturient women undergoing elective cesarean section has satisfactory results, shorter onset time of anesthesia, less dose of ephedrine, lower incidence of side effect, reducing the risk of maternal and neonatal anesthesia.
4.The clinical development in pediatric venous thromboembotism
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(4):380-382
Pediatric venous thromboembolism is a life-threatening disease caused by many factors,of which the central venous catheter is the first high-risk factor, and the clinical presentation varies according to the position of obstruction.Color Doppler ultrasound,CT scan,MRI are the major diagnostic techniques.Low-molecular-weight heparin combines with oral anticoagulant agent are commonly used in therapy and prophylaxis.Early diagnosis and prevention are beneficial to the survival rate.
5.Progress of thrombelastography in hemorrhagic disorders and thrombophilia in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(1):44-47
Thrombelastography(TEG) is a convenient, rapid test of coagulation. It records the continuous profiles of whole blood coagulation by measureing the viscoelastic changes of blood clot.Compared with conventional test of coagulation,TEG reflects the function of platelet, coagulation factors and fibrinolysis more comprehensively and dynamically. The small volume of blood required and less time-consuming make it more suitble for children. This review focuses on the clinical value of TEG in the diagnosis of hemorrhagic disorders as well as the individualized treatment of cogulation disorders, disseminated intravascular coagulation and antiplatelet drugs.
6.Effects of environment in vivo and in vitro on the differentiation of bone mesenchymal stem cells into neural cells
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To investigate the effects of environment in vitro and in vivo on the differentiation of bone mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into neural cells.Methods:①MSCs were labeled with 4,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) and injected into the right brain of the rats(n=6),which had suffered from middle cerebral artery occlusion(MACO) a day before. Two weeks later, immunofluorescent staining was used to detect the expression of nestin,microtubule-associated protein 2 (MAP-2) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP).②In vitro,MSCs were cultured with modified neuronal medium(MNM)for 18 hours after being pretreated with 0.5umol/L all-trans retinoid acid (ATRA) for 24 hours.Immunocytochemistry was used to detect the expression of nestin,MAP-2 and GFAP.Results:①After being injected into rats for 2 weeks,MSCs survived in the ischemic areas and a few cells expressed nestin,MAP-2 and GFAP respectively.②In vitro, after ATRA and MNM treatment, the positive percentage of nestin and MAP-2 were (92.3?3.4)% and (89.6?3.3)% respectively, but no expression of GFAP was detected. Conclusion:The different ratio of MSCs differentiating into neural cells suggests that there is difference in the process and mechanism between environment in vitro and in vivo.
