1.Comparative study of ELISA in the detection of antibodies to hepatitis C virus
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(9):425-426
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in detecting hepatitis C antibody. Methods 200 cases of patients with hepatitis C was measured by ELISA, the gold standard method for detection of hepatitis C virus antibody, recording the test results, the data input SPSS software to give the corresponding analysis and conclusions. Results 200 cases of patients with hepatitis C were successfully completed the gold standard method and ELISA method for detection of hepatitis C virus antibody, the analysis showed that positive rate of ELISA method for detection of hepatitis C virus antibody was significantly higher than that of the gold standard method, the positive rate of ELISA was 82.50%, the positive rate of the gold standard method for was 50.00%, results suggested that HCV detection rate of ELISA method is significantly better (P<0.05). Conclusion The method of ELISA can be used for the detection of hepatitis C antibody, which has positive significance in improving the diagnostic accuracy of hepatitis C, and is beneficial to protect the efficacy and quality of life of patients.

AlM: To study the trabeculectomy clinical effect of use tunnel knife to make double - deck scleral flap and to cut off the layer scleral flap of glaucoma.METHODS: Using the random grouping method to divide 46 cases (60 eyes) of glaucoma into the treatment group of 24 cases (32 eyes) and control group of 22 cases (28 eyes). The treatment group, tunnel knife was used to make double- deck sclera flap and superficial scleral flap about the size of 5mm×5. 5mm, 1/3 scleral thickness, under the sclera flap made another one about the size of 3. 5mm× 4mm, 1/3 scleral thickness, resected the middle layer of the sclera flap, removed 2mm×2mm trabecular tissue, underwent routine peripheral iridectomy, could adjust suture the superficial scleral flap, sutured Ball fascia and bulbar conjunctiva. ln control group, routine glaucoma trabeculectomy was undergone.RESULTS:Patients were followed up for 1a, the vision in treatment group was obviously better than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P< 0. 05). The postoperative intraocular pressure of the two groups of patients were significantly lower than that of the preoperative one. Postoperative 1 and 3mo, no statistical significant difference of intraocular pressure in two group(P>0. 05). But after 6 and 12mo, the intraocular pressure of the treatment group were significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). Postopeartive 1a, the cumulative complete success rate and conditions for successful rate were 90. 63% and 96. 88% in the treatment group, and those were 75% and 89. 29% in control group. There was significant difference between two groups(P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON:The trabeculectomy have a good effect to lower the intraocular pressure by use tunnel knife to make double-deck scleral flap and to cut off the layer scleral flap. The scleral flap have uniform thickness, smooth surface, and the function of the filtering bleb maintained for a long time, less postoperative complications, suitable for various types of glaucoma, so it is worthy of clinical promotion.

Returning astronauts had experienced decreased immune function and increased vulnerability to infection during spaceflights. In immune system, cell adhesion molecules(CAMs) play an important role in regulating immune response in normal physiological conditions.Studying changes of CAMs under microgravity could not only understand the effects of microgravity and its molecular mechanism on immune function, but also help to study the relative mechanism about cell sensation of microgravity. In this review,we will introduce some downstream signal pathways, gene expression and the effects on cell functions under microgravity. All of them are regulated by cell adhesion molecules related with the immune system.

Objective To invstigate the diagnostic value of the detection of telomerase activity in the specimen obtained from CT guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy of lung nodules. Methods The techniques of TRAP silver staining were performed to detect telomerase activity in 43 cases. Results 43 mass cases were studied includirg 32 proved to be primary lung cancer, and 11 benign lesions cytologically and clinically. Telomerase activity was detected as 28(87.5%) of 32 lung carcinomas, whereas in benign lung lesions was 1(9.1%) in 11 cases. Conclusions Detection of telomerase activity in the specimen of lung nodules by CT guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy may be an effective method in the diagnosis of lung cancer and also as tumor marker.

[Objective] To observe the effects of modified Zhengrong Decoction combined with acupuncture for acquired paralytic strabismus (APS). [ Methods ] Forty - one cases of APS were treated with modified Zhengrong Decoction combined with acupuncture of Jingming (BL1) point mainly. [Results] Four (9.8%) cases were cured after one treatment course (10 days), 23 (56.1%) cured in 2 ~ 3 treatment courses and after 4 ~ 6 treatment courses 12 (29.3%) cured, 1 (2.4%) ineffective, and 1 (2.4%) relapsed, the total effective rate being 95.2% . [Conclusion] Modified Zhengrong Decoction combined with acupuncture is effective and safe for APS.

Objective To explore the effects of ulinastatin(UTI) on renal apoptosis and expression of bcl-2 in rats with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Methods Sixty rats weighing 250-300 g were randomized divided into 3 groups:pseudo-operation group(SO group,n=20),SAP group(n=20) and UTI treated group(UTI group,n=20).The model of SAP was established by retrograde injection of 5% sodium taurocholate solution into the biliopancreatic duct in the rats.Serum Cr and BUN were determined. The left kidneys were resected for light and electronic microscopic study.Renal cell apoptosis was determined by TUNEL.Expression of bcl-2 was detected by immunohistochemical staining of SABC.Results Serum Cr,BUN,renal cell apoptotic index and bcl-2 expression were markedly increased in SAP group compared with SO group(P

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Differential display-PCR was used to clone the differential expressed genes between Mycobacterium tuberculosis virulence strain H37Rv and its avirulent mutant H37Ra. All of different genes were cloned, sequenced and some were analyzed by Northern-blotting. Two cDNAs that appeared to be expressed in H37Rv, but not in H37Ra, were cloned and sequenced. Rv0170, and Rv1894c, code for proteins with unknown functions. The two gene were present in H37Ra, but not expressed. These results show that mRNA DD methodology can represent a potential tool for investigation of M. tuberculosis gene expression.
