3.Applications of meta-analysis in multi-omics.
Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2014;30(7):1094-1104
As a statistical method integrating multi-features and multi-data, meta-analysis was introduced to the field of life science in the 1990s. With the rapid advances in high-throughput technologies, life omics, the core of which are genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics, is becoming the new hot spot of life science. Although the fast output of massive data has promoted the development of omics study, it results in excessive data that are difficult to integrate systematically. In this case, meta-analysis is frequently applied to analyze different types of data and is improved continuously. Here, we first summarize the representative meta-analysis methods systematically, and then study the current applications of meta-analysis in various omics fields, finally we discuss the still-existing problems and the future development of meta-analysis.

4.Effect of three bonding adhesives on the orthodontic bracket loss rate in treating moderate and severe dental fluorosis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2010;14(16):2925-2928
BACKGROUND: Because of the special structure of enamel fluorosis, the traditional bonding adhesives often lower the bonding strength and increase bracket loss rate, which affected the therapeutic effects seriously.OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical bracket loss rate differences among the 3 different bonding adhesives in treating moderate and severe dental fluorosis.METHODS: A total of 15 cases (total 288 teeth) with dental fluorosis were selected, including 6 males and 9 females, aged 13-26 years. All cases were randomly divided into 3 groups, and treated by using Beijing-Tianjin enamel adhesive bonding brackets,photo-curing-flowable Resin + Single Bond 2 adhesive bonding brackets and a small amount of dental fluorosis of enamel surfaces were ground and bonding bracket, the loss rate of brackets were observed.RESULT AND CONCLUSION: The total loss rates of the Beijing-Tianjin-enamel adhesive bonding bracket group, photo-curing flowable resin + Single Bond 2 adhesive bonding bracket group, and a small amount of dental fluoresis of enamel surfaces were ground and bonding bracket group were 65.6%, 20.5%, and 2.5%, respectively. There was significant difference in bracket loss rate among bonding adhesives (P< 0.01). It suggested that a small amount of surface enamel were ground and bonding bracket got the best effect, followed by photo-curing fiowable resin + Single Bond 2 adhesive bracket bonding group, both of them were significantly better than the Beijing-Tianjin-enamel adhesive bracket bonding group. Because veneering directly requires to grind part of the tooth structure which is difficult to accept for some patients, therefore, under the premise of not destroying the tooth structure, using photo-curing fiowable resin + Single Bond 2 adhesive bonding of brackets instead of the traditional Beijing-Tianjin enamel adhesive bonding of brackets can effectively reduce the loss rate of brackets for moderate and severe dental fluorosis.
5.Features of Nutrition Metabolism in Patients with Cirrhosis and Nutritional Treatment in Hepatic Encephalopathy
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2014;(9):513-516
Because of insufficient intake, synthesis disorder, metabolic disorder and excessive consumption, patients with cirrhosis often lead to malnutrition. Providing scientific nutritional support and guiding the patients to a reasonable diet can effectively improve the liver metabolism and reduce the complication of cirrhosis such as hepatic encephalopathy, and improve the quality of life and survival rate. This article described the nutritional metabolism disorder in patients with cirrhosis and nutritional treatment in hepatic encephalopathy.

7.Clinical observation of the effect of umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation in treatment of decompensated cirrhosis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(22):15-17
Objective To explore the clinical eficacy of umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation in treatment of decompensated cirrhosis. Methods Thirty patients with decompensated cirrhosis were given umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation (treatment group) and 30 patients with decompensated cirrhosis were given traditional treatment (control group).Liver function and blood coagulation function was tested after 4,8 weeks treatment respectively, and adverse effects were recorded at the same time. Results After 8 weeks treatment, total bilirubin, albumin and prothrombin time in treatment group was improved compared with that before treatment[(71.3 ± 37.8) μ mol/L vs.(107.3 ± 53.2) μ mol/L,(30.1 ± 4.9) g/L vs.(27.5 ± 5.1) g/L,(15.0 ± 2.9) s vs.(16.7 ± 3.9) s],and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the index before and after treatment in control group (P> 0.05).No obvious adverse reactions were observed in the process of umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation. Conclusion Umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation is safe and effective in treatment of deeompensated cirrhosis.
8.Clinical significance of serum PLA2R antibody and THSD7A antibody in idiopathic membranous nephropathy
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;40(8):564-568
In recent years, the diagnosis of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) has been more and more important with the rapid growth rate on incidence in China.Previous diagnosis of IMN depends on renal biopsy, a gold standard, but a high risk of traumatic examination. The detection of serum PLA2R antibody and THSD7A antibody to assist in the diagnosis of is not only fast, sensitive, simple and noninvasive, but also can reflect the immune status in real time.Compared with the traditional proteinuria severity based therapeutic efficacy evaluation, that is more effective and agile to monitor the disease condition, reflect the treatment effects and predict the prognosis better. Therefore, it should be vigorously promoted.
