1.Diagnosis of vascular cognitive impairment
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2009;17(2):124-127
Vascular eognitive impairment (VCI) is a large class of syndromes from mild cognitive impairment to dementia, which are caused by the cerebrovascular risk factors (eg, hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipemia), obvious (eg, cerebral infarction and intracerebral hemorrhage) or unobvious cerebrovascular diseases (leukoaraiosis and chronic cerebral ischemia). Accurate early diagnosis provides the best treatment opportunity and slows down the progress of the disease. In recent years, the research on VCI has made a great progress. This article reviews VCI from the aspects of the etiology, clinical manifestation, neuropsychology, imaging, neuroelectrophysiology, biomarkers, and diagnostic criteria.

5.Comparision Study of Therapeutic Effection Between Laparosccopical Incision Henia Repair and Open Incision Henia Repair
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(04):-
Objective Our aim is to compare the safety and benefits of laparoscopic versus open incision hernia repair. Methods Forty-seven patients in our hospital were analyzed with prospective randomized double-blind study following either laparoscopic or open hernia repair. And others prospective randomized studies(PRS)were analyzed. Results Overall complication rate was similar in both groups(8.5% versus 9.2% in the laparoscopic and open groups respectively),but some early complications in the laparoscopic group maybe require a reoperation.Operating time was similar in the laparoscopic group. There was shorter length of stay and higher expense in the laparoscopic group and there was significant difference in the pain scores and medications, resumption of diet,or activity scores. At 2 weeks, there was no difference in the activity or pain scores, but physical function and physical health scores on the short-form 36(SF36)quality of life assessment forms were little in the laparoscopic group.Regardless of the technique(P=0.158).The result of PRS meta-analyses is that operating time was simila in the laparoscopic group. There was longer length of stay in the Laparoscopic group. And the rate of wound infection is significantly higher in the open groups. Conclusion Unlike other minimally invasive procedures,Laparoscopic hernia repair did not offer an advantage over open hernia repair in all studied parameters except pain, activities and quality of life scores at 2 weeks. It also took similar to perform. The choice of the procedure should be based on surgeon or patient preference.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;19(17):2719-2723
BACKGROUND:Intertrochanteric fracture is one of the common complications in patients with senile osteoporosis.Internal fixation is a common method in clinical therapy.Different internal fixators are selected in different studies. However, there are few studies on influential factors for outcomes of internal fixation at present.OBJECTIVE:To investigate related influential factors for outcomes of internal fixation in elderly patients with osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture.METHODS:A total of 86 elderly patients with osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture, who were treated in the Guanghua Hospital from May 2011 to May 2014,were enroled in this study. They were divided into three groups according to different manners of fixation. There were dynamic hip screw group (n=34),proximal intramedulary nail group (n=41) and proximal femoral compression plate group (n=11).Rate of fixation failure was compared among the three groups. The relevant factors affecting fixation effects were analyzed using univariate and multivariate analysis.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Internal fixation failure was detected in 5 patients (15%) in the dynamic hip screw group,11 patients (26%) in the proximal intramedulary nail group, and 4 patients (36%) in the proximal femoral compression plate group. Results of univariate analysis revealed that Evanse genotyping of patients, whether fractures were found on outer arm side, degree of osteoporosis, quality of reduction, steeple distance, whether combined with internal medicine diseases and selection of fixator were associated with internal fixation effects (P< 0.05).However,the internal fixation effects were not correlated with gender, age, hospital stay and ambulation time (P> 0.05).Multivariate analysis results demonstrated that unstable fractures, severe osteoporosis, fractures of the lateral arm, medical ilness, steeple distance > 25 mm,and different internal fixators are independent factors affecting internal fixation effects in patients.
