1.Correlated Study of Heroin Dependence and Mu Opioid Receptor Gene
Journal of Kunming Medical University 1986;0(04):-
Objective To detect relation between heroin dependence and mu opioid receptor gene. Methods Genotype and allele frequencies of polymorphisms of mu opioid receptor gene was examined in 313 heroin-dependence subjects and 214 normal controls. Results No difference in genotype and allele frequencies of polymorphism of mu opioid receptor gene were observed between heroin-dependent subjects and normal controls(?~2=3.73,P=0.16 and.?~2=0.76,P=0.38).Conclusion The results suggested that polymorphism of mu opioid receptor gene was not associated with heroin dependence.
2.Role of relaxin in heart disease and therapeutic potential
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(02):-
Following a brief introduction of relaxin family members, receptors and related signalling pathways,we review effects of relaxin on cardiovascular system, particularly, its anti-fibrotic action. The heart and vessels are target organs of relaxin.Recent studies have documented that the relaxin genes are upregulated in the diseased heart of humans and experimental animals. In several animal disease models, relaxin can reverse cardiac fibrosis.Relaxin may also indirectly promote myocardial regeneration and repair by suppressing fibrotic healing.Further research needs to focus on elucidating the exact mechanisms utilized by relaxin to induce these cardiac actions and translation of experimental findings to novel therapy of cardiovascular disease.
3.Construction, identification and expression of the recombinant adenovirus containing the elastase-specific inhibitor elafin gene
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(06):-
Objective:To construct the highly efficient expression recombinant adenovirus that expresses elafin protein for further study. Methods:The elafin gene was amplified by RT-PCR from lung tissues, then the fragment was inserted into the multiple clone site of pAdTrack-CMV. The linearized shuttle plasmid was homogenously recombined with pAdEasy-1 in BJ5183. The candidate clone was further analyzed by restriction endonuclease digestion, PCR, and sequence scanned. Then the recombined adenovirus plasmid was digested with Pac Ⅰ and transfected into 293 cells for packaging and amplifying. Infection titer and rate were monitored by green fluorescent protein(GFP) expression. The expression of elafin protein was detected by Western blot and ELISA to appraise the function of elafin protein for oppressing the activity of elastic protease. Results:Digestion with restriction endonuclease, PCR, Western blot and ELISA confirmed that elafin gene was cloned into the adenovirus vector successfully. Conclusion:The recombined adenovirus Ad-elafin is constructed successfully, which will be benefit for future study.
4.Stereotactic body radiotherapy for localized prostate cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2021;48(5):313-316
External-beam radiotherapy is one of the principle treatment options for localized prostate cancer. Conventionally fractionated radiotherapy is widely used in clinical practice. Studies have shown that prostate cancer is highly sensitive to hypofractionated radiotherapy, also known as stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and increasing radiotherapy dose can significantly improve the local control rate of tumor. A number of recently completed researches have shown that SBRT is as effective as conventionally fractionated radiotherapy. In terms of radiation toxicity, the short-term toxicity of SBRT is more obvious than that of conventionally fractionated radiotherapy, but there is no significant difference in long-term toxicity. SBRT can provide more convenience for patients, and the medical cost is lower, so it has a great clinical application prospect.
5.Construction of recombinant adenovirus vector Ad-elafin for nature antibiotic elafin gene and its expression in primary airway epithelium
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(11):-
Objective To construct the recombinant adenovirus for nature antibiotic elafin protein and observe its expression in primary airway epithelia. Methods The elafin gene was amplified by RT-PCR from lung tissues, then the fragment was inserted into the multiple clone site of pAdTrack-CMV.The linearized shuttle plasmid was homogenously recombined with AdEasy-1 in BJ5183.The candidate clone was further analyzed by restriction endonuclease digestion,PCR,and sequencing. Then the recombinant adenovirus plasmid was digested with PacⅠ and transfected into 293 cells for packaging and amplification.Infection titer and rate were monitored by green fluorescent protein(GFP)expression. Finally the primary airway epithelium was infected with Ad-elafin,and the GFP expression was observed by fluorescence microscope in epithelial cells 24 h after transfection. The elafin protein was detected by ELISA in the supernatant. Results Restriction endonuclease and PCR confirmed that elafin gene was cloned into the adenovirus vector successfully.Twenty-four hours after transfection, the GFP expression was seen by fluorescence microscopy. The concentration of elafin protein was(2.2?0.4)ng/ml in supernatant of transfected group, while that of control group was(1.9?0.3)ng/ml,P
6.The role of Tau protein in Alzheimers disease: An update
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(10):-
Tau is a microtubule-associated protein th at can promote micortubulbe polymerization in vitro and can stabilize the asse mbled microtubules. Hyperphosphorylated form of tau comprises the main component of the paired helical filaments and neurofibrillary tangles found in Alzheimer s desease (AD). This paper reviews the functions and the prospects of tau in Al zheimers disease.
7.Application of fluorescence in situ hybridization in the diagnosis of solid tumors
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) is a non-radioactive technique by use of fluorescently labeled DNA probes in detecting chromosomal alterations in cells. As a new molecular cytological method, it can detect various types of cytogenetic alterations, including deletion, amplification and translocation, as well as improve the accuracy of pathological diagnosis if combined with histomorphology. This review focuses on the application of FISH to the detection of some solid tumors.
8.Characters of angiopoietins and their functions in the regulation of neovascularization
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
Neovascularization plays an important role in embyonic development and many diseases. VEGFs and angiopoietins are two known growth factor families that are specific to vascular endothelium. The action of angiopoietins is associated not only with angiogenesis but also with postnatal vasulogenesis. Thus there is a good prospective use for angiopoietins or their antagonists to promote or inhibit angiogenesis in clinical therapy.
9.Mycophenolate mofetil and children kidney disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(12):925-927
Mycophenolate mofetil is a new type immunosupperssor. It has the function of the selective immune suppression and reducing T,B lymphocyte proliferation. Now it is widely used in organ transplantation, immune disease and primary glomerular disease. In this paper, the research results of mycophenolate mofetil for children with kidney disease are summarized.
10.Formation mechanism of high-energy metabolism along meridians.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(11):1119-1121
According to the analysis and integration on prior research results regarding meridian essence, it is believed that high-energy metabolism is one of the main characteristics of along-meridian specificity. With discussion on the formation mechanism of along-meridians high-energy metabolism as entry point, it is found out that proteins of voltage-gated calcium channel along the meridians are likely to play an essential role of starting and coupling during the along-meridians functional activity. Thus, the hypothesis "proteins coupling in the meridians" is modified to the hypothesis "calcium channels proteins coupling in the meridians", which opens new path to reveal material basis and action mechanism of meridians.
