Objective The research aimed to probe into the complications of the treatment that endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic sphincterotomy (ERCP/EST) combined with laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) for the patients suffered from gallstone disease combined with common bile duct stones and investigate the nursing methods. Methods One hundred and twenty-four patients suffered from gallstone disease combined with common bile duct stones were included in this retrospective analysis. At first, they underwent the treatment of ERCP/EST,and underwent LC in 1 to 5 days later. All the clinical data were collected and analyzed. Results Of all the patients,104 patients successfully underwent the treatment of ERCP/EST.And of the 104 patients,100 patients successfully underwent LC,the other 4 patients underwent open cholecystectomy.Nineteen complicated with acute pancreatitises, one with hemorrhage and two suffered from infections of bile duct were observed in this study. Conclusions Combination of ERCP/EST with LC is a safe and effective treatment for gallstone disease combined with common bile duct stones. The preoperative psychological counseling, and the surveillance and nursing of complications play significant roles in the successful treatment.

Objective To investigate the expression level and clinical significance of cyclinB1 in primary hepatocellular carcinoma(PHC).Methods Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the mRNA level of cyclinB1 in liver cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of cancer. Results CyclinB1 mRNA was positive expression in 90%(36/40)cancer tissues and 85%(34/40)adjacent tissues of cancer. The expression level of cyclinB1 in cancer tissues (0.531?0.015)was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues of cancer(0.263?0.023).The level of cyclinB1 was significantly associated with pathological grades and lymph node metastasis, but not associated with sex、age、tumor size or tumor thrombus. Conclusion CyclinB1 may play an important role in the tumorigenesis of PHC and may be a potential adjuvant parameter in evaluating pathological grades and lymph node metastasis.

Objective To investigate the p33~ ING1b mRNA level and the relationship to clinical pathological data in primary hepatocellular carcinoma(PHC).Methods Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method was employed to detect the mRNA level of p33~ ING1b in liver cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of cancer. Results p33~ ING1b mRNA was positive expression in 63.6% (35/55) cancer tissues and 70.9% (39/55) adjacent tissues of cancer. The expression level of p33~ ING1b mRNA in cancer tissues (0.410?0.175) was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues of cancer (0.529?0.203). The level of p33~ ING1b was significantly associated with pathological grades, lymph node metastasis and envelope infiltration, but not associated with sex, age, tumor size, tumor thrombus or liver cirrhosis. Conclusion The decrease of p33~ ING1b may play an important role in the tumorigenesis and development of PHC, and may be an adjuvant parameter in evaluating tumor differentiation, invasion and prognosis.

Objective To explore the regularity of changes of plasma endothelin (ET), throm-boxame B2(TXB2) and 6-keto-prostaglandin F1α(6-keto-PGF1α) and restenosis after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Radioimmunoas-say was applied to measuring plasma levels of ET, TXB2and 6-keto-PGF1αat 0,30 min, 1 day and 3 days after PTCA in 41 patients with coronary heart disease. Results The level of ET in the patients with coronary heart disease was significantly decreased in 30 minutes after PTCA (P<0.05), but no significant difference was observed in 1 day and 3 days after PTCA (P>0.05). The level of plasma TXB2has no statistical difference after PTCA in 30minutes, 1 day and 3 days (P>0.05). The level of 6-keto-prostaglandin F1α(6-keto-PGF1α) of the patients with coronary heart disease was significantly declined in 30 minutes after PTCA (P<0.05) ,but no significant difference was observed in 1 day and 3 days after PTCA (P>0.05). Conclusion PTCA may lead to fluctuation of plasma levels of ET, TXB2and 6-keto-PGF1αThe clarification of changing regularity of these vasoactive substances contrib-utes to prevention of acute artery occlusion or restenosis after PTCA.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2009;30(6):562-563
Objective To investigate the abnormal expressions of immunoglobulin light chains kappa(Igκ)and Lambda(Igλ)in malignant tumors. Methods The concentrations of the Igκ and Igλ in serum were measured by rat nephelometry in 60 cases of malignant tumors and 15 cases of healthy people. Results The liver tumor patients had a higher concentration of Igκ and Igλ in serum than normal people(P<0.01).There wre not significant differences between the levels of Igκ,Igλ and κ/λ ratio in the stomach tumor, lung tumor,proctologic/colonic tumor, mammary tumor, oesophagus tumor and normal peoples(P>0.05).Conclusion The measurment of Igκ,Igλ and κ/λ ratio in serum would be helpful for the diagnosis of the liver tumor.By continous observation with Igκ,Igλ and κ/λratio in serum could predict the development of disease.

砄bjective: To study the mineralization and related differential phenotype of human dental papilla cells in vitro . Methods: Human dental papilla cells were primarily cultured with explant technique, the cells of third passage were incubated for a long term in the presence of 10 mmol/L ? glycerophosphate(? GP)and 50 ?g/ml of ascorbic acid (L AA) in DMEM containing 5% FBS. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and osteocalcin(OC) were measured at different culture time. Cell growth was observed under inverted microscope and mineralization was tested with Von Kossa stainning. Results: Cultured papilla cells were growing in multilayer. Cells exposed to ? GP and L AA exhibited higher ALP activity in 14 days and increased OC in 21 days with certain amount of secreted matrix. After 35 days of culture, mineralized tubercles were formed. ALP activity and synthesized OC began to decrease after 42 days of culture. Conclusion: Human dental papilla cells may show odontoblast phenotype in vitro .

Objective To screen and identify differentially expressed genes in colorectal carcinoma and explore the possible molecular pathogenesis of colorectal carcinoma. Methods The differentially expressed cDNA bands in colorectal carcinoma specimens and matched adjacent normal tissues were isolated by fluorescent mRNA differential display.Following differential display PCR (DD-PCR),all cDNA fragments were sequenced.By using BLAST software, the sequencing results were compared with Genebank database for homologue analysis.RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of one of the differentially expressed genes in colorectal carcinoma samples were identified by semi-RT-PCR.Results BLAST analysis revealed that the cDNA band was homologous to DDX32 (99%) and its up-regulated expression in colorectal carcinoma tissues was confirmed by RT-PCR (P

Objective We study the potential diagnostic use of urinary cytokeretin 19 fragment (CK19,Cyfra21-1). Methods Urinary CK19 was investigated by using an electrochemiluminescence immunoassay(ECLIA) in urin of 47 healthy subjects and 154 patients including 45 with bladder cancer,94 with urological benign diseases and 15 nonbladder cancers. Result The urinary CK19 average level of patients suffered from bladder cancer is (122。00?12。60) ?g/L that is significantly different from the level of healthy control[(1。97?0。88) ?g/L, P
