Objective:To study the high-performance liquid chromatographic(HPLC) fingerprints of different germplasms of Flos Carthami. Methods: HPLC was applied in chromatographic separation of 36 different germplasms of Flos Carthami collected from 11 provinces of China.The chromatography condition was: Agilent Zorbax C_(18) column(4.6 mm?250 mm,5 mm);mobile phase: CAN,0.5% H_3PO_4(from 1090 to 8020);running time: 60 min;flow speed: 1.0 ml/min;detection wavelength: 265 nm;and temperature: 20℃.The data were processed by Chromatographic Fingerprint Station designed by Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis,School of Pharmacy,Second Military Medical University.Different germplasms of Flos Carthami were subjected to cluster analysis and their similarity was also evaluated.Results: The different germplasms of Flos Carthami in this study were grouped into 2 chemical types.Samples from northwest of China were of high similarity;samples from the middle China were of high similarity to those from South China.The similarity of some germplasms of Flos Carthami was significantly different.Conclusion: The chemical components of different germplasms of Flos Carthami are obviously different from each other;selection of germplasm is very important in quality control of Flos Carthami.

Objective To study the hip angle characteristics in hemiplegic gait.Methods Gait analysis was performed in 20 subjects with hemiplegia and 20 healthy subjects and the hip joint angle of all subjects was analyzed.Results The hip joint angle of affected-side lower limb of hemiplegic gait showed significant differences between 20 subjects with hemiplegia and 20 healthy subjects on hip flextion at heel-contact,maximum extension in stand phase,flextion toe-off,maximum flexion in swing phase and total excursion on sagittal plane.Conclusion The research on the characteristics of hemiplegic gait is helpful to make clinical assessment and treatment planning.

ObjectiveTo study the reliability and sensitivity of the gait analysis system based on digital video and image processing.Methods20 healthy subjects were assessed twice by the same doctor having one-week interval to investigate intraobserver reliability, they were also assessed twice separately by two doctors to investigate interobserver reliability. Gait parameters of affected limb of 20 hemiplegic patients were compared with 20 healthy subjects to investigate the sensitivity of this system.ResultsThere were high correlations in all the parameters between the two assessments. The parameters of the patients were significantly different from those of the controls.ConclusionThe system is sufficiently repeatable and sensitive in the assessment of gait.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression and significance of miRNA-324-3p and its target gene WNT2B in tissue specimens of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) specimens. METHOD: qRT-PCR was used to detect the expression of miRNA-324-3p and WNT2B mRNA, and Western blot was applied to assay the expression of WNT2B protein in 39 cases of NPC specimens and 21 cases of non-carcinoma epithelium. The relationship between their expression levels and clinicopathological characteristics and their correlation with clinical pathological parameters was analyzed. RESULT: The expression of miRNA-324-3p was significantly down-regulated decreased but WNT2B mRNA/protein increased obviously in NPC specimens (P < 0.01). A negative correlation between miRNA-324-3p and WNT2B was spotted (P < 0.05). The expression levels of these markers were closely correlated with T stage, clinic stage and cervical lymph node metastasis (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION The loss of miRNA-324-3p and ectopic WNT2B might co-induce the initiation and progression of NPC.

Objective To investigate the value of intervention bundles in enteral nutrition for patients with esophageal cancer.Methods From October 2014 to September 2015,226 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were collected.From April 2015 to September 2015,109 patients(intervention group)were treated with intervention bundles during perioperative period,and from October 2014 to March 2015,117 patients(control group)were treated by routine intervention.Results The albumin,prealbumin,and transferrin showed no significant difference(all P>0.05)before treatment but were significantly different on the eighth day[albumin:(38.2±3.5)g/L vs.(36.3±4.8)g/L,P=0.001;prealbumin:(126.7±52.8)g/L vs.(72.9±42.3)g/L,P=0.001;transferrin:(2.9±1.2)g/L vs.(2.1±1.6)g/L,P=0.001].The incidence of complications was 11.01％(12/109)in intervention group and 21.37％(25/117)in control group(X2=4.422,P=0.035).In addition,the postoperative exhaust time[(52.8±10.9)h vs.(58.7±14.3)h,P=0.001],time to the removal of chest drainage tube[(3.5±0.9)d vs.(4.8±1.3)d,P=0.001],postoperative hospital stay[(11.2±1.3)d vs.(12.1±1.5)d,P=0.001],and hospital costs[(37±4)thousand yuan vs.(39±5)thousand yuan,P=0.004] were also significantly shorter or smaller in the intervention group.Conclusions Intervention bundles is clinically valuable in the early enteral nutrition for patients with esophageal cancer.It can improve the nutritional status of patients,reduce complications,and improve the clinical outcomes.

In order to recognize people by their gait, we propose a pattern recognizing method based on kinematics and kinetics parameters. The feature extraction methods of joint angle and vertical ground reaction force (VGRF) were given. 14 healthy male subjects participated in this experiment. The experimental results showed that the correct classification rates (CCR) was 87.1% at k = 1 and 90% at k = 3 (k-nearest neighbor) based on joint angle recognition; the CCR was 85.7% at k = 1 and 80% at k = 3 based on VGRF recognition. The multivariate analysis of the experimental data proved the feasibility of gait recognition. The principal component analysis and curves of VGRF also showed that the instant of foot strike plays an important role in gait recognition.

An algorithm for recognizing the markers in human motion detection is proposed in this paper. It includes three parts as follows: (1) an improved template matching method is used to acuminate the peak of the matching result. (2) The weighted average of the cross correlation between target image and template is given in order to make the resolution increase to sub-pixel level. (3) Forecasting the motion of marker and overcoming the hiding of marker are realized basing on the continuity of human motion. The result of experiments shows that the algorithm can recognize the positions of the markers at a relatively higher accuracy and speed. A gait analysis system based on this algorithm has come into use.

OBJECTIVE: In order to investigate the effect of UPPP in patients with OSAHS, the range of the soft palate excision and impersonality standard for improving low oxygen after UPPP. METHOD: A prospective study was designed to evaluate 34 adult patients with OSAHS and 27 adult ear patients who were not OSAHS. Blood routine and palatopharyngeal data in two groups were measured before operation and 15-20 days after operation. And follow up 6 months. The data before and after operation were analysed in statistical method (t test). RESULT: Length of soft palate, distance of pharynx, distance of palate pharynx, red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), and hematocrit (HCT) were significantly different in normal and OSAHS group (independent t test, P<0.01). Their indexes were significantly different in OSAHS group before and after operation (paired-sample t test, P<0.01). Only HGB and the lowest SaO2 were negative correlation before operation in OSAHS group. The value is bigger for HGB and smaller for SaO2 (t test, P<0.01). Result of follow up 6 months (31 cases): The effective ratio of subjective improving was 74.2%, and the total effective ratio was 96.8%. One case had reflux of nasopharynx. CONCLUSION Severe OSAHS patients should be underwent synthesized treatment. It is daytime sleepiness that was improved the most obviously. Soft palate excision scope can't exceed 1.5 cm. HGB can be an impersonality index to assess hypoxemia and improvement of SaO2 after operation for OSAHS.

Objective To synthesize a series of 13-acylmatrine derivatives and evaluate their in vitro antitumor activity . Methods Using sophocarpine as the starting material ,a series of new compounds were synthesized through Michael addition , Staudinger reduction and acylation .The structure of target compounds were confirmed by 1 H NMR and MS techniques .Their antitumoractivityagainsthumanhepatomacells(BEL-7404)andmicemelanomacells(K111)wereevaluated invitrobyMTT assay .Results We synthesized 9 compounds and all the compounds exhibited inhibitory activities against BEL-7404 and K111 . Conclusion Compound 4b and compound 4e exhibit good in vitro antitumor activity to human hepatoma cells (BEL-7404) .

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical implication of preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), and association of NLR with the prognosis of the elderly patients over 75 years old with primary gastric cancer.

METHODSClinical data of 160 patients (≥75 years) with gastric cancer undergoing gastrectomy in Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, the Tumour Hsopital of Harbin Medical University form January 2007 to December 2010 were retrospectively analyzed. Preoperative neutrophil and lymphocyte count was measured and NLR was calculated. The cut-off value of NLR to predict the survival was obtained from the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve. Patients were divided into two groups based on cut-off value. Clinicopathological features were compared between two groups using Chi-square test or Fisher exact test. Cox proportional hazard model was used to analyze risk factors associated with survival.

RESULTSThe cut-off value of NLR was 1.83 with 0.709 of sensitivity and 0.562 of specificity. A total of 54 patients with NLR<1.83 belonged to NLR-0 group, and 106 patients with NLR≥1.83 belonged to NLR-1 group. As compared to NLR-0 group, patients in NLR-1 group had significantly higher proportion in maximum tumor size ≥ 50 mm [66.0%(70/106) vs. 42.6%(23/54), P=0.004], serosal invasion [75.5%(80/106) vs. 57.4%(31/54), P=0.029], positive lymph node metastasis [83.0% (88/106) vs. 55.6%(30/54), P=0.001] and TNM stage III( [79.2%(84/106) vs. 61.1%(33/54), P=0.013]. The median survival of NLR-0 and NLR-1 group was 1 209 days and 587 days respectively, with significant difference(P=0.001). Multivariate analysis showed that NLR≥1.83(HR=0.530, 95% CI: 0.332 to 0.846, P=0.008), serosal invasion (HR=0.570, 95% CI: 0.332 to 0.979, P=0.042), and lymph node metastasis(HR=0.475, 95% CI: 0.462 to 1.685, P=0.033) were independent risk factors of poor prognosis(all P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONPreoperative higher NLR value in the elderly patients over 75 years old with primary gastric cancer indicates larger tumor size, severe serous invasion, more lymph node metastasis, later TNM staging, and poorer prognosis.
