Objective To observe the curative effects of treatment with Edaravone for acute massive cerebral infarction. Methods 48 patients with acute massive cerebral infarction were randomized into the treatment with Edaravone group(Edaravone group,24 patients) and the conventional treatment control group(control group,24 patients). Two groups patients were admitted conventional treatment for cerebral infarction.Edaravone group patients were admitted with Edaravone 30 mg into 100 ml saline infusion introvenously, twice a day, linked 20 ~ 25 d.Respectively before and after the treatment, neurologic function dificit score(NDS),plasma fibrinogen(Fib) content, coagulation blood function, activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) were examined. The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups. Results NDS of tow groups after treatment were significantly lower than those of before treatment, activity of SOD were significantly increased than those before treatment(all P0.05).Significant efficiency ratio of the Edaravone group(87.5%) was significantly higher than that of the control group(45.8%)(P

Objective To prepare VP1 protein vaccine of Coxsackievirus A16(CA16) and evalu-ate immunngenicity the subunit vaccines of Coxsackievirus (VP1), and to establish foundation for studying CA16 vaccine. Methods CA16 VP1 was amplified by RT-PCR and cloned into pFastBac HT A plasmid, recombinated with Bacmid DNA by transposition reaction and then transfected Sf9 cell, mixed with adjuvant AI(OH)_3. After immunization BALB/c mice, evaluating immune effectiveness after booster injections 2 weeks. Results The expressed protein was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and Western blot, mice immunized with CA16 (VP1) both induced specific IgG antibody and neutralization antibody. The best immunization antigen was 20 μg, IgG antibody was 1: 1600, neutralization antibody was 1:250, typical Th1/Th2 immune response was determined by lymphocyte proliferation assay and cytokine analysis. Conclusion The CA16 VP1 gene was cloned successfully and expressed in Sf9 insect cells, CA16 VP1 protein vaccine induced both humoral and cellular immune response, to lay solid foundation for further study on CA16 vaccine.

Objective:To compare the therapeutic characteristics of anterior hybrid decompression and posterior cervical posterior laminectomy in the treatment of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy. Methods:Thirty six cases of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy patients treated by anterior hybrid decompression and thirty three cases of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy patients treated by posterior cervical posterior laminectomy were involved. The general information, bleeding amount, operative time, cervical curvature D value,JOA score and incidence of postoperative complications of the two groups before and after surgery were compared. Results:There was no significant difference in the general information among the two groups(P>0.05),including age (anterior group:56.23± 7.64 years old, posterior group:55.76± 8.18 years old),sex (anterior group:22 males/14 females, posterior group:20 males/13 females),cervical curvature D value (anterior group:7.41± 3.14,posterior group:8.19± 2.74),JOA score (anterior group:9.08± 1.09 scores, posterior group:8.82± 1.26 scores),disease course (anterior group:17.24± 7.36 months, posterior group:15.75± 5.78 months) and affected segment (anterior group:3.11 ± 0.26 segments, posterior group:3.24± 0.39 segments). The the amount of bleeding in the anterior group (anterior approach:221.79± 178.02 ml,posterior group:483.07± 434.25 ml) was lower than that of the posterior group(P<0.05).The operative time (anterior group:196.54± 51.88 mins, posterior group:175.12± 54.93 mins) was longer, but there was no significant difference (P>0.05).The cervical curvature D value and JOA score of posterior group were increased with the extension of surgery time. However, the cervical curvature D value of posterior group was decreased, but JOA score was increased. The incidence of bone unfinished, hoarseness and cerebrospinal fluid leakage were found in the anterior group, and axial pain and C5 nerve root paralysis were found in the posterior group. But there was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (anterior group 14.89%,posterior group:12.12%)(P>0.05).Conclusions:Anterior hybrid decompression and posterior cervical posterior laminectomy had their own advantages in the treatment of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy.,The appropriate treatment should be taken according to the condition of patients.

Objective Using event-related potentials(ERPs),to study the effect and mechanism of negative emotion accumulation hepatic insufficiency on working memory in normal people. Methods Fifty subjects in each of the emotionally stable group and emotionally unstable group were given two load tasks(0-back and 1-back)in the N-back paradigm, the reaction time and correct rate were recorded, and the ERPs components N200 and P300 were detected. The latency and amplitude of P300 were analyzed statistically. Results ①Compared with the emotionally stable group, the emotionally unstable group had a longer reaction time(P<0.05).②Compared with the emotionally stable group, the subjects in the emotionally unstable group had prolonged N200 latency, decreased P300 amplitude significantly(P<0.05),and P300 latency had a tendency to extend(P<0.1).Conclusion Long-term accumulation of negative emotions and liver failure in normal people have the performance of decreased working memory, which may be related to the reduction of attention resource allocation and the impairment of cognitive processing function.
