1.Treatment of polypoid lesions of gallbladder by Traditional Chinese Medicine

This article reviewed literatures on the treatment of polypoid lesions of gallbladder(PLG) with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in recent years. The research showed that TCM has satisfied therapeutic effects on PLG, which can avoid unnecessary operation. But the systemic theoretic and experimental studies have been insufficient, and further studies are needed.
2.STUDY ON FERMENTATION CHARACTERISTICS OF CHAMPAGNE YEAST

Sixteen strains of champagne yeasts have deen tested for fermentation characteristies. The results show : C_1, C_3, C, have excellent properties such as high fermentation activity, tiny foam, excellent flocculation and tolerance to alcohol and sulfur dioxide. It is very satisfactory to use them in second fermentation of champagne.
3.Effect of lentivirus expressing TLR4 shRNA on function of rat alveolar macrophage

Objective To construct the replication-incompetent lentivirus expressing rat TLR4 shRNA,and to observe its inhibitory effect on TLR4 expression in alveolar macrophage and on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced release of IL-1?,IL-6.Methods We designed and constructed four shRNA expressing plasmids with silencing effect,then they were co-transfected into HEK293T cells with the TLR4 eukaryotic vector constructed previously;the best shRNA was selected to be packed into lentivirus;and the titer was determined.The packed lentvirus was used to infect the alveolar macrophage(NR8383) in presence of LPS,and the LPS-induced IL1?,IL-6 expression was examined by ELISA.Results The best shRNA was successfully screened out and was correctly inserted into the lentivirus.The titer of the recombinant lentivirus was 2.0 ? 106 TU/ml.The LPS-induced expression of IL-1?,IL-6 in the alveolar macrophages was greatly reduced after virus infection (P
4.Epidemiological analysis of HIV infection among voluntary blood donors in Liuzhou city

Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of HIV infection in voluntary blood donors in Liuzhou city to provide the basis for the blood donation recruit launched by the blood collection and tranfusion service agencies and reduce the risk of transfusion transmitted HIV.Methods The epidemiological investigation on the voluntary unpaid blood donors infected with HIV during 2008-2012 was performed for analyzing the infection characteristics.Results HIV infection in blood donors in Liuzhou city had no statistical difference between different years (P >0.05);the differences in different sexes,age groups,married and unmarried persons had statistically significant differences (P <0.01 );the education background less than middle school ac-counted for 52.94%;56.21% of the infectors were the sexual transmission.Conclusion HIV infection in voluntary unpaid blood donors in Liuzhou city is dominated by young adult men and the persons with the education level less than junior high school,and the heterosexual transmission is predominant.The donor recruitment work should pertinently exclude the persons of high-risk be-havior and collect blood in low risk population as far as possible.
5.Two kinds of detection methods of antinuclear antibodies in diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus

Objective To detect serum antinuclear antibody (ANA) with enzyme-linked immunosorbent (ELISA) and linear immunoblot technique (LIA) and to evaluate and compare the performance of two methods in auxiliary diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods ANA detected by both ELISA and LIA of 597 cases were collected in the last two years. The results were retrospective analyzed. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and the consistency of the two methods were compared and analyzed. Results The sensitivity of ELISA and LIA was 79.3% and 86.6% respectively for SLE patients; specificity 81.7% and 77.3%; accuracy 81.4% and 78.6%, positive predictive value 40.9%, and 37.8%;negative predictive value 96.1% and 97.3% respectively. No significant difference was found between the two methods (P > 0.05). The results showed that the coincidence rate was 81.4%, and the Kappa test 0.55. The Kappa test of the two methods in SLE group was 0.403. Conclusion No statistical significance is found in the comparison of ELISA method and LIA method to detect ANA for the diagnosis of SLE and the combination of two kinds of detection method has important application value.
6.Study on clinical effect and interrelated questions of revolving self-lock nails and normal operative therapy for humerus shall fracture

[Objective]To summarize the clinical effect of revolving self-lock nails and normal operative therapy for humerus shaft fracture,and discuss the perfect treatment methods.[Method]We retrospectively analyzed and compared the outcome and complications of the the humerus shall fracture by normal operative therapy in 96 cases(compression plate 42 cases,monolateral fixator 26 cases,embracing fixator 28 cases);revolving self-lock nails 39 cases.[Result]The operative time,volume of blood loosing,the radial nerve injury,the infection rate and the breakage rate of the group treated with normal operative therapy were obviously more than the group treated with revolving self-lock nails,and the satisfactory rate after operation of the group treated with normal operative therapy was less than the group treated with revolving self-lock nails.[Conclusion]Revolving self-lock nails can avoid much shortcoming of transverse locking nails.The advances of revolving self-lock nails are convenient in operative procedure,with little invasive of operation,solid internal fixation and safety compared with the normal operative therapy.And revolving self-lock nails has two kind choices:anterograde transfixation and retrograde transfixafion,thus it can protect function of shoulder joint in some ways,so revolving self-lock nails is one of the idea choices to treat the fracture of shaft of humerus.In opposition,normal operative has much shortage and it is restricted by type of fractures.
7.Heart-lung transplantation for 4 patients with Eisenmenger’s syndrome

Objective To summarize the experience of heart-lung transplantation.Methods Four patients with Eisenmenger’s syndrome underwent heart-lung homoplastic transplantation. All patients were complicated with severe pulmonary hypertension in New York Heart Association ( NYHA ) functional class IV. Cannulation for cardiopulmonary bypass consisted of a cannula in the high ascending aorta and separate vena caval cannulas. The heart-lung graft was moved into the chest, beginning with passage of the lung before the phrenic nerve pedicle. The bronchus was trimmed, leaving two cartilaginous rings proximal to the orifice of the upper lobe. The early functional changes of the heart after radiation, burn or combined radiation-burn injury were studied with an isolated working heart preparation of rats. The animals were randomized into the control group (C), the burn injury group (B) inflicted with 30% TB-SA full thickness burns from a 5 kw bromine-tungsten lamp, the radiation injury group (R) inflicted with total body irradiation of 6 Gy from a "Co source and the combined radiation-burn injury group (RB) receiving both of the injuries. No treatment was administered after injury.
