Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(02):-
Objective: To explore the relationships among learning style, academic self-concept and academic achievement. Methods: In this research we employed scale of learning style and scale of academic self-concept to survey 609 middle-school students and primary students, and explored the relationships among learning style, academic self-concept and academic achievement. Results: ①Academic self-concept has correlation with academic achievement between 0.079 and 0.321; ②Different learning style students have differences in academic achievement; ③Different learning style students have significant differences in mathematical self-concept and academic self-concept total; ④Learning style and academic self-concept have significant predictive effect on academic achievement in total, mathematical achievement and Chinese achievement. Conclusion: Learning style and academic self-concept have effect on academic achievement and have significant predictive effect.
2. A study of single-walled carbon nanotubes modified by organics of the phthalocyanine category
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2008;20(3):193-197
Organics of the phthalocyanine category have very good nonlinear optical properties. The single-walled carbon nanotubes were modified by using the phenoxy phthalocyanine. Characterization analysis was made by means of the transmission electron microscope (TEM), ultraviolet visible absorptive spectra, fluorescent spectra and Raman spectra. Under the TEM, it was observed that the composite looked like sugarcoated haws. By comparing the ultraviolet visible absorptive spectra before and after absorption, it was disclosed that the spectral intensity and the intensity of the peaks in the fluorescent spectra dropped remarkably. This shows that the single-walled carbon nanotubes have absorbed a large number of phenoxy phthalocyanines. Raman analysis revealed that in the Raman spectra, the position of the main peaks of the single-walled carbon nanotubes after absorption moved in the direction of long waves. The analysis suggests that the movement of the Raman spectra results from the change in the state of the single-walled carbon nanotubes before and after absorption.

Objective To investigate the expression of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) in endometrial cancer ( EC ) and its relationship with the clinic and pathological factors , as well as the diagnostic value for EC . Methods Through real-time PCR and immunohistochemistry, the expression level of Sky mRNA and protein in normal endometrial tissues, atypical hyperplasia of endometrial tissues and endometrial cancer tissues were examined. Results The expression of Syk in EC were lower than that in endometrial atypical hyperplasia and normal endometrium (P < 0.05). The expression of Syk was related to histological grade, invasive depth, lymphatic metastasis and clinical stages (P<0.05). Conclusion Syk contributes to tumorigenesis and metastasis of EC. The detection of Syk can provide evidence to evaluate the malignancy grade of EC.

Objective To assess the safety and effectiveness of robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical cystcctomy and urinary diversion in the treatment of bladder cancer. Methods We collected the clinical data of one patient with bladder cancer who underwent RCRA with ileal neobladder from the Second Artillery General Hospital in Beijing on March,2010.Literature on this topic was analyzed. Results ( 1 ) Tbc operation duration of this procedure was 540 mins. The intra-operative blood loss was 200 ml,and no blood transfusion was needed.Postoperative pathologic examination indicated low-grade infiltrative urothelial carcinoma. The patient exhausted on the 3th post-operative day,had off-bed activities on the 4th post-operative day,and was discharged on the 28th post-operative day.(2) There were more than 400 patients underwent RARC worldwide. The RARC group had marginally lower complications rate (31% vs.28% ) and numbers of lymph node dissection ( 18.2 vs.13.0) than the LCR group. There were significant differences in the duration of operation (285.7 mins vs.372.0 mins),intraoperatie blood loss ( 286 ml vs.556.0 ml) and mean days of hospitalization ( 8.6 d vs.13.0 d) between the RARCA and the LCR groups. Conclusion RARC is a novel and effective procedure for the treatment of bladder cancer. As there is only a relatively small sample around the world and little experience on this procedure can be referred, more clinical practice with RARC and high quality research with long-term follow-up are needed to update the database and evaluate its effectiveness and safety.

Objective To compare the effects of cobalt chloride (CoCl2) induced chemical hypoxia and hypoxia environment on the proliferation, migration and phenotype transformation of rat primary pulmonary artery fibroblasts (PAFs).Methods Primary PAFs were isolated and cultured.Cells were stimulated by CoCl2,or hypoxia cell culture (1% O2) was used to stimulate and induce PAFs.Then the effects of CoCI2 and hypoxia environment on PAFs were compared by CCK-8 assay, scratch assay, transwell assay, phenotype marker protein expression and PI3K/Akt signaling pathway protein expression. Results Compared with the control group,100 μmol/mL CoCl2 stimulation had no significant effect on the cell proliferation activity, cell migration ability and phenotype transformation ability of PAFs (P>0.05);while 1% O2 could significantly improve the cell proliferation and migration activities of PAFs as well as the upregulation of α-SMA expression (P<0.05).Conclusion There exist differences of effects between CoCl2 induced chemical hypoxia and hypoxia environment on promoting cell proliferation, cell migration and phenotype transformation in PAFs.

AIM: To observe the realgar induced the apoptosis of eosinophils from bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in asthmatic guinea pigs and investigate the mechanism that realgar treated asthma.METHODS: The morphology of apoptosis of eosinophils was observed by Giemsa staining and electron microscope. The rate of apoptosis of eosinophils was assayed by the flow cytometry.RESULTS: The characteristic changes of the apoptosis in both light microscope and electron microscope were shown after 6 hours treatment of realgar.Flow cytometry showed that the rate of apoptosis of the eosinophils was increased with both increasing realgar concentration and prolonging realgar action time to the cells.CONCLUSION: Realgar promotes the apoptosis of eosinophils from bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in asthmatic guinea pig.Realgar induced the apoptosis of eosinophils is one of the causeses for asthmatic treatment.

With the development of modern technology and clinical practice, the classic randomized controlled trial nowadays cannot meet the researchers' needs for evidence with more reliable external validity, especially in the field of TCM.Meanwhile,real-world study (RWS) has been attracting more attention and at the forefront of clinical research all over the world for providing evidence in conformity with the real world condition. In this paper,we firstly described the basic concept of RWS,and then found that it was characterized by large representative samples, loose inclusion or exclusion criteria, allocation of interventions according to patients conditions and willingness,long-term follow-up,and clinically relevant endpoints.By analyzing the existing examples of RWS,we noted and discussed the promising future of RWS in TCM clinical research. Finally,we hope this paper will provide some inspiration for TCM researchers.
