Objective To investigate the means which can prevent postoperative incision infection of elderly patients with obstructive colorectal cancer. Methods Sixty-seven cases of elderly patients with obstructive colorectal cancer adopting surgical treatment were divided into two groups, including experimental group with 37 cases and control group with 30 cases. Put self-made negative pressure drainage tube with side-hole into subcutaneous interspace of abdominal incision of experimental group alter operation, kept continuous negative pressure drainage 7-10 d and pull out the self-made subcutaneous negative pressure drainage tubes till drainage volume decreased obviously. The abdominal wall incisions of the control group were given conventional suture. Results Incision infection occurred in only one case (2.7%) and no incision dehiscence occurred in the experimental group, and incision healing time was (9.36 ± 2.18) d. Incision infection occurred in 7 cases (23.3%) in the control group, of which there were 3 cases (10.0%) of wound dehiscence, incision healing time was (12.25 ±4.06) d. Incision infection rate of the two groups had significant difference (χ2= 6.706,P < 0.05), incision dehiscence rate of the two groups had no significant difference (P 0.05), incision healing time of the two groups had significant difference (t = 6.676, P < 0.05). Conclusion Using the self-made subcutaneous negative pressure drainage tube and keeping it continuous negative pressure drainage after operation can be effective in preventing incision infection of elderly patients with obstructive colorectal cancer, and promote wound healing.

Objective To explore the safety,efficacy and clinical significance of stenting with cerebral protection devices for carotid artery stenosis.Methods 14 patients with carotid artery stenosis were treated by intra-arterial stents implanted.All of them used cerebral protection of filter devices.Results 18 self-expandable stents were successfully implanted in 14 patients.Of them,stroke ictus caused by microemboli in 2 patients ,and they recovered after treatment for 1~3 d,6 patients had transient bradycardia and hypotension.No cerebral infarction could be seen in all cases during the follow-up period.Conclusion Carotid setenting with cerebral protection devices is an effective and safe method in treating carotid stenosis,and it is helpful to reduce the neurological complication.

Objective To compare the difference of serum heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and carbon monoxide(CO) levels between the patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) caused chronic heart failure(CHF) and CHD patients with normal cardiac function,and further to explore the protective mechanism of HO-1/CO system during the pathogenesis process of CHF.Methods Ninety-one patients with CHF were selected as the observation group and 72 CHD cases with normal cardiac function were taken as the control group.The concentration of HO-1 was determined by ELISA arid the Chalmer S method was used to detect serum CO concentration.The general clinical data of the two groups were recorded by the using the heart failure questionnaire.And the liver and kidney functions,blood lipids,NT-proBNP,BNP and cardiac echocardiography examination were performed.Results The serum HO-1 level in the observation group was (8.13±0.27)ng/mL,which was higher than (2.80±0.52)ng/mL in the control group;the CO level in the observation group was (0.35±0.06)mg/L,which was lower than(0.59±0.07)mg/L in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.01);the HO-1 level in the observation group was gradually increased with the increase of cardiac function grade (P＜0.01);while the CO level was decreased with the increase of cardiac function grade (P＜0.01).Conclusion The serum HO-11evel in the patients with CHF is highly expressed with the heart failure aggravation;endogenous CO is gradually decreased due to consumption after cardiac failure aggravation.

Objective To create the effective community-based day-care model of mental disability with multiple approaches. Methods 30 subjects with schizophrenia in Taoranting community in Beijing were selected in control group (n=15) and intervention group (n=15). A day-care multiple rehabilitation model had been implemented in the intervention group. They were evaluated with Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) and WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 (WHO-DAS 2.0). Results The scores of PANSS negative symp-tom, general psychopathological symptom and WHO-DAS 2.0 significantly reduced continually in the intervention group 8 and 12 weeks af-ter intervention (P<0.01). Conclusion Community-based day-care model can improve the rehabilitation of mental disabled people and inte-grate the community resources for the schizophrenics.

Objective To research the quality control of determination of formaldehyde concentration in the indoor air in the newly decorated houses with 4-amino-3-hydrazine-mercapto-1, 2, 4-amilinoazaole spectrophotometry. Methods 35 newly decorated houses in two urban districts of Guiyang were chosen and the air samples were collected from March to December in 2004. Formaldehyde concentration was determined as soon as the air samples were collected, and the laboratory internal quality was controlled by using the standard sample in the determination. Results The formaldehyde concentration range of 35 newly decorated houses was 0.01-1.71 mg/m3, the detection rates was 100%, the rate of exceeding national standard was 77.1% and the median was 0.28 mg/m3. The recovery rates of quality control samples were 90.70%-103.00%. Conclusion The quality control method used in the present paper can make the results of formaldehyde concentration determinated with 4-amino-3-hydrazine-mercapto-1, 2, 4-amilinoazaole spectrophotometry be controlled in the demanded ranges of errors.

This paper introduces the implementation of an electronic medical records system and the integration of clinical data in our hospital. The electronic medical records system is grounded on XML based electronic inpatient records and focused on information of patient treatment, which has integrated information of prescriptions , outpatient visits, PACS, medical examination technologies, laboratories, nursing records, reports of infectious diseases and hospital infections, licenses for antibiotics and pharmaceutical repositories, and the clinical data with electronic medical records as the carrier. This system has provided physicians with effective tools for diverse paperless medical records and favorable conditions for diagnosis and treatment, it has improved the work efficiency of physicians, optimized hospital process, minimized errors and improved quality of medical treatment. With the development of real-time quality control of medical records, we have improved efficiency and quality of hospital management.

Objective After the rabbits were electrocuted by 220V AC,we found that the pathological changes in the surface of the bones electrocuted could be one objective and quantitative index for the diagnosis of electrocution in the forensic pathology.Methods The experiment animals were divided into four groups,including: the antemortem electrical injury,postmortem electrical injury,putrefied and the normal.After specimens from each group being taken X ray examination,all specimens were then observed the morphological appearance of the surface of the bones with scanning electron microscopy(SEM),meanwhile,detected the kinds and contents of element in the electrical injury area with energy spectrum.Results①small holes on the surface of electrified area and the detection of contents of the elements in the high-density surrounding the holes could be a index for the diagnosis of AC injury and able to differentiate of the antemortem electrical injury,the postmortem electrical injury and the putrefied bones.②the morphologic changes of small holes and the alteration of the contents of elements such as calcium,phosphorus and carbon could be helpful to estimate the time of electrical injury.Conclusion The morphological appearances and the changes of elements in the surface of the bones electrocuted could be a useful index to analyse the differences among the antemortem electrical injury,postmortem electrical injury,putrefied and the normal bones.

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effects of PPARγ ligand rosiglitazone in vivo of mice which were transplanted the human gastric carcinoma cells line MGC803 into subrenal-capsule.Methods To establish kunming mouse tumor modles of MGC803 cells transplanted into subrenal-capsule and assay the inhibiting growth effects of 50 mg／kg rosiglitazone which were continuously poured into mice gastric for five days by the dissect microscope and HE stain.Results Rosiglitazone could inhibit the growth of MGC803 cells transplanted into subrenal-capsule of mice in vivo by inhibiting proliferation and inducting apoptosis,the tumor inhibitory rate was 62.9％.Conclusion PPARγ ligand rosiglitazone can inhibit the growth of MGC803 cells transplanted into subrenal-capsule of mice in vivo.
