Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
Objective: To investigate the inhibitory effect of grape proanthocyanidins (GPC) on P38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(P38MAPK)pathway in mice with breast cancer . Methods: BALB/C mice inoculated with EMT-6 breast cancer cells were given 10, 100 and 200 mg/kg bw GPC po daily for 2 w. The expression levels of phosphorylated P38MAPK and matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)protein were detected by Western blot. Results: The levels of phosphorylation P38MAPK in tumor control group and 200 mg/kg GPC group were 1.16?0.18 和 0.58?0.12 respectively, and the levels of MMP-2 protein were 0.98 ?0.04 和 0.69?0.04 respectively. The differences between the two groups were significant (P

NAC transcription factors involved in plant growth and development, as well as responses to biotic and abiotic stress. RNAi Vectors for SmNAC transcription factors of Salvia miltiorrhiza was constructed by using Gateway cloning technology, in order to further study the function of SmNAC1 transcription factor. According to Gateway cloning technology, the specific fragments of SmNAC1 containing attB adapter was amplified by PCR using ultra-fideling phusion polymerase of NEB. By the BP recombination reaction, the PCR product containing attB was transferred to an donor vector (pENTR/SD/D-TOPO). Finally, SmNACi specific gene was cloned into pK7GWIWG2D plant expression vectors by LR recombination reaction. Experimental results showed that Gateway cloning technology provide a rapid and highly efficient way to clone the interested gene.

OBJECTIVETo investigate effects of elastic stable intramedullary nails for the treatment of radial neck fracture in children.
METHODSFrom July 2006 to December 2011, 25 children with radical neck fractures, which included 16 males and 9 females aged from 7 to 15 years old (means 10.7), were treated with elastic stable intramedullary nails. According to Judet classification, 6 cases were type II, 17 cases were type III and 2 cases were type IV (including 1 case with type IVa and 1 case with type IVb). The fracture healing, pain, deformity and range of motion of elbow were recorded.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up for 6 to 24 months with an average of 14 months. Twenty-five patients were obtained bone healing. According to Tibone and Stoltz evaluation standard, 18 cases got excellet results, 4 cases in good and 3 cases in moderate.
CONCLUSIONElastic stable intramedullary nails for the treatment of radial neck fracture in children has advantages of simple operation, less trauma and good results.

Objective To evaluate the analytical performance of lipid testing with six sigma(a) in order to promote the quality improvement. Methods Sixty-four Laboratories participated in trueness verification program and Internet-Based Interlaboratory Comparison of Internal Quality Control Data program lipid testing in 2012 were included in this study. The CVs and Bias of TC,TG,HDL-C,and LDL-C for each laboratory were evaluated from the reporting data. The sigma metrics based on the Tea from National Cholesterol Education Program according to the formula:σ =(TEa-Bias)/CV for each analyte.Quality goal index (QGI) was also calculated to investigate the reason for dissatisfied performance as follows:QGI =Bias/ (1.5CV).Results The rates for σ≥6 of TC,TG,HDL-C,and LDL-C were 21.9%,34.4%,9.38%,and 18.8%,respectively.The corresponding rates for 3 ≤ σ < 6 were 31.3%,29.7%,29.7%,and 34.4%,while the rates for σ < 3 were 46.9%,35.9%,60.9%,and 46.9%,severally.For analytes which σ were less than 3,91.3%-100% of the laboratories should improve the trueness first,0.00%-8.75% of the laboratories should improve the precision, and 0.00%-2.08% should improve both. Conclusions Six sigma is an effective tool for quality control in clinical laboratory, which can help improve the quality level for laboratory testing. The analysis of performance of the lipid testing shows that further effort is acquired to enhance the supervision of the trueness verification.

OBJECTIVETo systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of preoperative administration of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor on pain occurring with total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
METHODSWe electronically searched PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, CNKI, CBM, Wanfang data from inception to March 15, 2014 and manual searched journal of library collection to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about preoperative administration of COX-2 inhibitor on pain occurring with TKA. The methodological quality of the included RCTs was assessed and the data were extracted according to the Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0. Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.2 software.
RESULTSA total of 6 RCTs involving 228 patients were included. The results of meta-analyses showed that: (1) Efficacy: The visual analog scale (VAS) of post-operation at 12-hour (WMD = -0.60, 95% CI -0.83 to -0.37, P < 0.000 01) and 24-hour (WMD = -0.74, 95% CI -1.29 to - 0.19, P = 0.008) was decreased when COX-2 inhibitor was used before operation. And compared with control group, experimental group decreased the modified numerical pain rating scale (MNPRS) at 24-hour (WMD = -0.50, 95% CI -0.70 to -0.30, P < 0.000 01), 48-hour (WMD = -0.55,95% CI -0.65 to -0.45,P < 0.000 01) under quiescent conditions, and the same result at 24-hour (WMD = -0.82, 95% CI -1.26 to -0.38, P <0.000 01), 48-hour (WMD = -0.71, 95% CI -0.82 to -0.60, P < 0.000 01) under active conditions. The morphine consumption postoperatively were fewer in experimental group at the first day (WMD = - 1.35, 95% CI -1.92 to -0.79, P < 0.000 01) and the second day (WMD = -1.60, 95% CI -2.68 to -0.52, P = 0.004). (2) Safety: COX-2 inhibitor could lessen the incidence of postoperative pruritus (RR = 0.35, 95% CI 0.15 to 0.84, P = 0.02), but not statistically decrease of nausea and vomiting (RR = 0.83, 95% CI 0.54 to 1.28, P = 0.40) and exhaustion (RR = 0.63, 95% CI 0.05 to 7.67, P = 0.72).
CONCLUSIONThe current evidence indicated that preoperative administration of COX-2inhibitor can effectively improve the effect of postoperative analgesia, reduce the consumption of morphine and lessen the incidence of pruritus. Due to the limited quantity of the included studies and the evidence with limited strength, further high-quality RCTs are needed to verify the aforementioned conclusion.
