2.Effect of rosiglitazone on the expression of platelet CD40 ligand in insulin-resistant rats
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2008;27(12):923-926
Objective To investigate the effect of rosiglitazone on the expression of platelet CD40 ligand (CD40L) in insulin-resistant rats, and to further determine the relationship between CD40L and insulin resistance. Methods 60 healthy male SD rats [(200±20)g] were randomly divided into 4 groups: control group (C), high fat group (HF), low dose rosiglitazone group (LR) and high dose rosiglitazone group (HR). Rats in group C were fed normal chow diet, and the others were given high fat chow diet. After 12 weeks, high dose of rosiglitazone (10mg/kg) was given to rats in group HR and low dose of rosiglitazone (5 mg/kg) was given to rats in group LR for 4 weeks. Rats in group HF and group C were given 0.9% sodium chloride solution. The level of sCD40L was measured by ELISA and the expression of platelet membrane CD40L was detected by immunoprecipitation and Western blot. The insulin resistance (IR) index was calculated by homeostasis model assessment (HOMA). Results HOMA-IR, sCD40L level and platelet membrane CD40L expression were higer in group HF than in group C (9.8±3.2 vs. 5.9±1.7, 367.3 ±35.3 vs. 232.3±120.6, 2.1±0.4 vs. 1.4±0.2, respectively, all P<0.05). Compared with the group HF, HOMA-IR, sCD40L level and platelet membrane CD40L expression were obviously decreased in group HR(5.4±1.1, 276.9±54.0, 1.4±0.3, respectively, all P<0.05), and there were no significant differences in HOMA-IR, sCD40L level and platelet membrane CD40L expression between group HF and group LR (P>0.05). Conclusions In insulin-resistant rats, the level of sCD40L and the expression of platelet membrane CD40L were higher. After treatment with high dose of rosiglitazone, sCD40L level and platelet membrane CD40L expression were decreased with the improvement of insulin resistance.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the prognosis and its related factors of acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL).Methods Fifty-four patients with APL,from January 1994 to February 2005 in our hospital, were studied retrospectively.Univariate analysis of the potential factors influencing survival of these patients was carried out by comparison of the cases in same stage with chi square test and Log-Rank method.Prognostic indicators were demonstrated by CR rate, overall survival(OS)and event-free survival(EFS).Results 45 patients(83.3%)entered CR.The results showed that 1-year and 3-year OS of 54 patients were 81.5% and 73.3% respectively,1-year and 3-year EFS were 78.4% and 66.6% respectively. The estimated 5-year OS and EFS were 60.5?2.4% and 52.4?1.5% respectively. The analysis of prognostic factors showed that:Sex,age, initial WBC count, initial PLT count, marrow cellular morphology features, first induction regimen and time from induction therapy to CR were all important prognostic factors of APL.Conclusion Factors, including age
5.Comparative studies on chemical constituents difference between single medicine decoction and mixed medicine decoction of Changweikang Granules
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(10):-
AIM:To analyze and compare the chemical constituents difference between single medicine decoction(SMD) and mixed medicine decoction(MMD) of Changweikang Granules. METHODS: TLC and HPLC methods were applied to comparing the chemical constituents in SMD and MMD of Changweikang. RESULTS: Spots of TLC between SMD and MMD similar, except for some difference in the HPLC. CONCLUSION: The analyses were carried out for the first time.We found that the plus of the chemical constituents in SMD equal to MMD of Changweikang, also during the course of MMD,new constituents may be generated.Based on these,we proposed that the material base of Changweikang were the rational preparation and complementation of the effective components and the generation of new constituents.

China Medical Equipment 2017;14(4):32-35
Objective: To evaluate the noise characteristic of different reconstruction type CT image by using the noise power spectrum (NPS), and analyze the correlation between this results and subjective vision noise evaluation. Methods: QA water phantom of CT equipment was scanned and 8 common reconstruction algorithms were applied to dispose image. NPS peak value, the peak frequency and standard deviation (SD) were compared with the subjective evaluation measurements, such as granularity, contrast, sharpness and optical noise level, by using the correlation analysis. Results: Each reconstruction algorithm owned different peak value and peak frequency. Granularity negatively correlated with the peak frequency. A positive correlation was found between contrast and peak value. Sharpness was positively correlated with both peak value and peak frequency. All of the subjective evaluation measurements were correlated with SD. Conclusion: Comparing with SD, NPS can reflect both intensity and morphological feature of the noise and possess applicative potential as a more comprehensive evaluation index.
