OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the dissolubility determination of Manidipine Hydrochloride tablet and eval-uate the quality consistency of generic and original preparation. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Waters Sym-metry C18 column with mobile phase of potassium phosphate monobasic solution (potassium phosphate monobasic 6.8 g was well-mixed with water 1 000 ml,and pH was adjusted to 4.6 by potassium hydroxide solution)-acetonitrile (49∶51,V/V) at flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 228 nm,column temperature was 25℃,and the injection volume was 20μl. The dis-solution mediums were 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid solution, acetic acid-sodium acetate buffer solution(pH 4.0)and phosphate buf-fer solution [pH 6.8,adding into 0.5% sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDS)],volume of dissolution medium was 900 ml and rotating rate was 50 r/min,and the dissolubility of Manidipine hydrochloride tablet generic and original preparation was investigated and the similarity of dissolution profile was evaluated by calculating similar factor (f2). RESULTS:The linear range of manidipine hydro-chloride was 0.625-20 μg/ml;RSDs of instrument precision and stability tests were lower than 2.0%;recoveries of 3 dissolution mediums were 92.86%-102.97%(RSD=1.9%,1.8% and 2.7%,n=9),respectively. The dissolubility of 3 batches of Manidipine hydrochloride tablet generic and original preparations was higher than 85% in 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid solution in 15 min;f2 was >50 in acetic acid-sodium acetate buffer solution (pH 4.0) and phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.8,adding into 0.5% SDS). CONCLUSIONS:The method is suitable for the dissolubility determination of Manidipine hydrochloride tablet;meanwhile, the dis-solution profile in vitro of Manidipine hydrochloride tablet generic and original preparations has similarities,so the quality consis-tency is good.

Objective To discuss the perioperative management of cirrhotic patients undergoing abdominal operation. Methods From Jan. 2000 to Jul. 2007, 93 patients with PHT underwent operation in our hospital. We retrospectively analyzed the data according to different therapy result. Results 21 cases developed postoperative ascites. The occurrence of ascites in patients dealt with PHT and coexistent other abdominal disease was 7% and 12% respectively for Child A and B grade patients. The occurrence of ascites in patients dealt with only abdominal disease was 13% and 17% respectively for Child A and B grade patients. The occurrence of ascites in patients dealt with PHT and abdominal disease was amazingly 83% for Child C cases. Patients suffered from tumors didn't have more risk of ascites than the other patients. Conclusion The proper perioperative management of patients can decrease the mortality. To deal with PHT together with abdominal operation is reasonable for patients in Child A or B liver function, and it would not increase the postoperative ascites. For the selective patients, we must try our best to decrease the ascites preoperatively to improve the condition.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2003;20(3):476-503
Image registration methods based on mutual information, including mutual information and normalized mutual information, have been accepted as the most accurate and efficient methods. But there are many fluctuations in the registration functions that hinder the optimization procedure and lead to registration failure in intra-modal registration. We found that besides the interpolation artifacts, the uncertainty of the changing of entropy with the changing of overlap also contributes to the fluctuations. The effect of interpolation artifacts can be eliminated, but it is difficult to eliminate the effect of uncertainty of entropy. Luckily, this effect is not significant in normalized mutual information. Normalized mutual information is more stable and robust than standard mutual information and its better performance and wider application can be expected.

Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2017;26(1):69-73
Objective To study the accuracy of collapsed cone convolution ( CCC) and anisotropic analytical algorithm ( AAA) in dosimetric calculation on the air cavity interface. Methods A BEAMnrc/EGSnrc Monte Carlo ( MC ) simulation was performed on a Varian Trilogy linear accelerator. The IBA Dosimetry “blue phantom” 3D scanning system was used to verify the accuracy and reliability of the MC simulation. Central axis depth dose distribution and lateral dose profile in a water?equivalent phantom with variously sized air cavities were calculated by CCC and AAA. The obtained depth dose distribution and lateral dose profile were compared with those by MC simulation and EBT2 film, respectively. Results Both CCC and AAA overestimated the dose on the air cavity interface. In spite of some errors, CCC had a higher accuracy than AAA. The errors were mainly related to computational grid, field size, photon energy, cavity size, and the number of fields. Conclusion Electronic disequilibrium on the air cavity interface should be taken into account when CCC and AAA are used for dosimetric calculation in treatment planning system.

Objective To retrospectively design an intensity?modulated radiotherapy ( IMRT) plan with split field and fixed jaw techniques for peripheral lung cancer with mediastinal lymph node metastasis, to compare dosimetric characteristics between the IMRT plans with fixed jaw and dynamic jaw, and to study lung protection by the plan with split field and fixed jaw. Methods Treatment plans were collected from 12 patients with peripheral lung cancer and mediastinal lymph node metastasis who were treated with IMRT in our hospital. All plans used the dynamic jaw technique. The plans with split field and fixed jaw were designed based on the identical computed tomography images and planning target volume ( PTV) . Each jaw position in split field depended on each separate PTV. The prescription dose was 60 Gy in 30 fractions. 95%PTV was planned to receive 100% of the prescription dose. Dosimetric parameters of PTV, conformity index ( CI) , heterogeneity index ( HI) , number of monitor units ( MUs) , and dose?volume values of the lung and heart were obtained from dose?volume histogram. Comparison between the two plans was made by paired t test. Results Both plans met clinical requirements. There were no significant differences in D2 , D98 , CI, or HI of PTV between the two plans ( all P>005) . Compared with the dynamic jaw plan, the fixed jaw plan had MUs increased by 15%?20%( P=0010) . The V5 , V10 , V20 , V30 , and mean dose for the whole lungs were significantly lower in the fixed jaw plan than in the dynamic jaw plan ( P=0000, 0000, 0000, 0002,0000) . The V5 , V20 , and mean dose for the healthy lung were also significantly lower in the fixed jaw plan than in the dynamic jaw plan ( P=0000,0017,0000) . There were no significant differences in dose?volume values for the spinal cord or heart between the two plans ( all P>005) . Conclusions IMRT with split field and fixed jaw is recommended for patients with peripheral lung cancer and mediastinal lymph node metastasis. The therapy to a certain extent reduces low?dose volume for the lung and the incidence of radiation?induced pneumonitis.
