Objective To explore the relationship between the endogenous plasma cortisol and the airway remodeling associated cytokines which was infected respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) through measuring the levels of them. Methods Forty-two infants diagnosed as acute RSV infection were divided into two groups, severe group(21 cases) and mild group(21 cases),as well as 21 healthy infants for control group. The levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9),tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) and transforming growth factor- β1 (TGF- β 1) were determined by ELISA,the levels of plasma cortisol were determined by radio immunoaasay. Results The levels of plasma cortisol in severe group [(236.25 ± 119.87)μg/L] were significantly higher than those in mild group [(130.62 ±73.04)μg/L] and control group [(56.35 ±34.52)μg/L],there were significant differences (P <0.05),and the mild group was significandy higher than the control group(P< 0.05).The levels of TIMP-1 and TGF- β 1 in severe group were significantly higher than those in mild group(P< 0.05),and the mild group was significantly higher than the control group (P < 0.05 ); the ratio of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in severe group was significantly lower than that in control group (P <0.05);the levels of MMP-9 in severe group were significantly higher than those in mild group (P <0.05).The levels of lymphocytes, eosinophilic cells and CD4+,CD8+ in severe group were significantly lower than those in mild group (P<0.05),and significantly lowerthan those in control group (P < 0.05 ).The levels of eosinophilic cells and CD8+ in mild group were significantly lower than those in control group(P < 0.05 ).Conclusion The infection of RSV results in the imbalance of the airway remodeling associated cytokines, which is a danger factor, and the imbalance may be related to the increased level of the plasma cortisol.

Objective:
To study the safety and effectiveness of infra-hepatic inferior vena cava clamping combined with Pringle’s maneuver during hepatectomy.
Methods:
The databases of PubMed, Cochrane Center, CNKI, VIP, Wan Fang were searched to extract the relevant data for the meta-analysis using the Revmanage 5.3 software.
Results:
A total of 14 studies with 1595 patients were included in this meta-analysis. The results showed that total bleeding during the combined clamping was significantly lower than that of the Pringle’s maneuver alone (

Objective To investigate the opportunity and skill of surgery for pancreatic sinistral portal hypertension. Methods Clinical data were retrospectively analyzed on 15 cases of pancreatic sinistral portal hypertension admired from Dec 2015 to Dec 2017.Results All fiften cases underwent surgical treatment, among them three cases were initially treated conservatively in the early stage and treated surgically for gastrointestinal bleeding,12 cases with definite pancreatic disease and pancreatic sinistral portal hypertension treated in the first stage.Three patients underwent second surgery for recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding. The patients were followed up for 6 to 18 months with symptoms significantly impioved without deaths. Conclusions Splenectomy combined with esophagogastric devascularization is the basic surgical treatment for pancreatic sinistral portal hypertension.
4. Progress in the application of oncolytic virus in the treatment of hematological malignancies
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2019;34(15):1127-1131
In recent years, the incidence of hematological malignancies has increased year by year, although with the progress of chemotherapy, targeted therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the efficacy of some types of lymphoma and leukemia has been greatly improved. However, the prognosis is still poor and the fatality rate is high.Finding new strategies to improve the curative effect has become an urgent problem to be solved.Oncolytic virus can promote anti-tumor response by selectively destroying tumor cells and inducing specific anti-tumor immune response. At present, oncolytic virus has become an effective strategy for the treatment of a variety of malignant tumors.A lot of breakthrough progress has also been made in the treatment of hematological malignant tumors. In this paper, the latest research progress of oncolytic virus in the treatment of hematological malignant tumors in recent years is reviewed.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the rapid and accurate method for the detection of dengue virus (DENV) by using nicking enzyme assisted strand-displacement amplification (SDA) combined with gold nanoparticles-based lateral flow strip.
METHODS:
Total RNA of the virus was extracted by using magnetic beads method and transcribed to cDNA for SDA detection system. Nicking enzyme-assisted method was used for detecting DENV, and agarose gel electrophoresis was used for analyzing the sensitivity of SDA amplification products. A gold nanoparticles-based lateral flow strip was developed based on the principle of nucleic acid base complementary pairing to design the test line and control line. The gold particles were prepared by using sodium citrate reduction method for gold nanoparticles-based lateral flow strip construction.
RESULTS:
The sensitivity of the SDA method was 10 fmol/L, and the sensitivity of gold nanoparticles-based lateral flow strip based on SDA method was also 10 fmol/L. In a linear range from 10 fmol/L to 10 fmol/L, the corresponding linear correlation coefficient () of DENV was 0.98. The specificity of nanoparticles-based lateral flow strip based on SDA for DENV detection was high, which was no crossing with other control groups.
CONCLUSIONS
A gold nanoparticles-based lateral flow strip based on SDA method for DENV detection has been established, which is convenient, fast, and the result is visible to naked eyes.
