Objective To study the effect of Ro60 on migration and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma A 549 cells. Methods We knocked down Ro60 and analyzed the ability of migration and invasion of A 549 cells.Quantitative real time ( RT)-PCR and Western blotting were performed to detect mRNA and protein levels of selected molecules associated with migration and invasion of neoplasm .Results When Ro60 was downregulated , the migration and invasion of A 549 cells decreased markedly.Meanwhile, the mRNA expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)9,c-Src etc was observably reduced.Furthermore, downregulation of Ro60 diminished the expression of Src protein and the activation of MMP-9 protein. Conclusion Downregulation of Ro60 inhibits migration and invasion of A549 cells by regulating Src protein and activating MMP-9 protein.

Objective To explore the expression of TLR4/NF-κB pathway in cerebral injury resulting from DHCA ( deep hypothermia circulatory arrest ) as well as the effect of SACP ( selective antegrade cerebral perfusion). Methods Twelve pigs were randomly assigned to DHCA group (n = 6) or SACP group (n = 6) at 18 ℃ for 80 min. IL-6 was assayed by ELISA. Apoptosis and NF-κB proteins were detected by fluorescence TUNEL and Western blot, respectively. The level of TLR4 was determined through qRT-PCR and Western blot. Results Serum IL-6 level of SACP group was significantly lower at the end of circulation arrest and experiment and apoptotic index and NF-κB protein were apparently lower in SACP group (P < 0.05). The level of TLR4 protein and mRNA from SACP group decreased significantly (P < 0.05). Conclusions TLR4/NF-κB pathway plays a critical role in pathogenesis of DHCA cerebral injury and attenuating TLR4/NF-κB cytokines probably contributes to neuroprotection of SACP. TLR4/NF-κB pathway may be a novel target for DHCA.

Objective This study compares a dual-freeze protocol with a triple freeze protocol for hepatic cryoablation in the Tibetan pig model.Method Cryoablation with a dual-(10-5-10-5 min)and triple-freeze (5-5-5-5-10-5 min) protocol for the normal livers of 9 Tibet pigs was performed under exposed operation.Temperature changes of cryoprobes and diameter changes of iceballs were measured during the ablation, and seven days later the pathological changes of cryozones were reviewed and the surface and depth cryolesions were measured. Results Compared with cryoablation with two freeze-thaw cycles, there was a greater iceball diameter for cryoablation by three freeze-thaw cycles. Also, seven days after cryosurgery, there were similar surface and deep cryolesions in dual-and triple-freeze protocols.Pathologically, the triple freezing protocol was associated with a longer zone of complete necrosis. Conclusions With the same freezing time (20 min),the triple-freeze protocol may become a more powerful liver-ablation method in cryosurgical application.

OBJECTIVETo investigate electroencephalographic (EEG) characteristics of anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis in children.
METHODClinical data of 28 children diagnosed as anti-NMDAR encephalitis were retrospectively analyzed for EEG characteristics in different periods and severity of disease and outcome.
RESULTAmong the 28 patients with anti-NMDAR encephalitis, 15 were males and 13 were females. Their age at disease onset ranged from 1 year 3 months to 12 years 4 months. Patients were divided into mild group (5 cases) and severe group (23 cases). In the different stage of the disease, occipital background activity of the EEG was preserved in more than half of patients. Accompanied by the evolution of disease course, the occipital background activity and slow waves gradually recovered to normal. In the peak phase of disease, occipital background activity in the awake state was preserved in 4/5 patients of the mild group and 9/17 patients of the severe group. Alpha and theta band rhythms in non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep existed in 77% (17/22) patients. EEG monitoring showed delta brushes in 2 cases, and the delta brushes were mixed with background fast waves in one case; 71% (20/28) patients had epileptiform discharges in EEG during the course, and among them, 6 patients had secondary epilepsy.
CONCLUSIONThe background activity in the awake state and abnormal diffuse slow waves of EEG were evolved and gradually recovered during the course of the disease. Regardless milder or severe illness condition, occipital background activity was still preserved during different stages in most patients. Alpha and theta rhythms in NREM sleep might represent a relatively overt EEG characteristic. The presence of delta brush in EEG was rare, and sometimes they were difficult to be distinguished from fast wave activities caused by drugs. The presence of epileptiform discharges in EEG suggested the possibility of secondary epilepsy.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2018;25(17):2220-2223,c17-1
Objective:
To analyze the computed tomography(CT) features and clinical outcomes of renal epithelioid angiomyolipoma(EAML).
Methods:
From January 2004 to June 2015, 17 patients with EAML in the Second People′s Hospital of Lianyungang and Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital were included in the study. All patients underwent CT examination. The patients' general data, imaging characteristics and pathologic features were determined by chart review.
Results:
Nine patients underwent radical nephrectomy, and 8 patients underwent partial nephrectomy. The mean maximal tumor diameter was 6.1 cm (ranged 1.2-12.5 cm). The fat component of one lesion was detected by CT.On unenhanced CT, the intratumoral attenuations were hyperattenuating in 9 patients, isoattenuating in 1 patient and hypoattenuating in 7 patients. The contrast enhancement degree was mild in 1 patient, moderate in 6 patients and marked in 10 patients. The contrast enhancement pattern was homogeneous in 8 lesions and heterogeneous in 9 lesions. All patients were positive for melanoma(12 cases were positive for HMB-45, 3 cases were positive for melan A, and 2 cases were positive for both). The mean follow-up period was 28.5 months (ranged 2-126 months), and 15 patients were alive with no evidence of disease at the time of the last follow-up, 1 patient exhibited local recurrence and lung metastases, and another 1 patient developed distant metastasis.
Conclusion
Renal EAML has a range of imaging appearances. Our data suggested that the majority of the tumors (size 10 cm) were solid and had a tendency to be hyperattenuating on unenhanced CT images.Hemorrhaging or necrosis was observed in tumors with sizes≥10cm with heterogeneous enhancement. In contrast to classic AML, which is benign, EAML is potentially malignant and exhibits aggressive clinical features, including local recurrence and distant metastasis.
